I bought this cable a while ago to connect my computer to my stereo receiver. The cable shields fairly well and is of decent quality for the price. It is not gold-tipped, which means that the connectors may oxidize after several years, but I do not see this as a big problem. A balanced cable from Monster or Acoustic Research would give better performance, but the Recoton series is fine for most applications. I plan to buy two more to connect my 6-channel sound card to a 5.1 receiver I am getting for Christmas.

I have an old TV, and just got a new DVD for Christmas. We also have a VCR and Playstation 2, and I wanted to hook them all up to the TV (DVD recommends not going through a VCR for better picture, which is true). This modulator was really easy to use. There's an RF cable going out to the TV, one coming in from the VCR/antenna, and two audio/video cables coming in from the DVD and PS2, plus space for one more a/v cable. There are buttons in front to switch between the a/v cables (one for DVD, one for PS2). It could be an ounce more convenient to have a remote to switch between the a/v cables, but, come on, we're not that lazy! I recommend this for those who need to hook up more than one a/v cable to an old TV, even if you don't know anything about electronics (I didn't!).

I tell ya, friends can be a real pain some times. Oh sure, they're cool to hang out with and talk to and stuff, but there are those moments when they'll drive ya right up a freakin' wall! Take last week for instance: one of my buds finally returned my DVD player and remote control to me. It was nice to finally get my stuff back... but it was the stuff that was MISSING that had me miffed. For one thing, the remote control was lacking both the battery cover door and the batteries! When I asked him 'bout this, he gave me some weak song and dance about the batteries goin' dead on him. Which was really strange, 'cuz I'd put in a fresh set a week before he borrowed my player! As for the missing battery door, he claims he's "still on the lookout" for it. Yeah, and O.J. is "still on the lookout" for the real killers...

The other thing that came up AWOL was the player's audio/video connector cable. Having absolutely no desire to hear his pathetic attempts at explaining this omission, I grabbed a new one (this particular make & model, 'natch), and reconnected my player to my TV set, threw in a fave Trek-flick platter, kicked back, and watched the show. I was somewhat disappointed that I paid a few bucks more for the new cable than I did the old one, and there wasn't any improvement in picture and sound quality. But hey, at least I'm able to actually view my digital platters again; what more can a DVD-phile ask for?

Needless to say, if my friend ever wants to borrow my DVD player ever again, he's gonna hafta provide his own freakin' remote batteries and hook-up cable! And a security deposit, just to be on the safe side...

It's a speaker stand, what is there to say?

Well, if you're going for a complete Sanus setup, having the matching speaker stands is a must. The stand itself has a cherry finish, with a black top and base. Both the top and base have holes to allow for wire concealment and a black plastic backing is providing to cover speaker wire running down the back of the stand.

Assembly is easy and the result looks very clean.

Spikes as well as rubber feet are included.

I bought these stands to support a pair of satellite speakers that I use in my home theatre system and I'm pleased with the purchase. The support is finished solid maple that bolts to the the top and bottom plates with long wood screws. You then have the option of using either the spiked feet or the plastic feet on the bottom plate. The spiked feet are adjustable whereas the plastic feet are not which is probably the only reason I give this a 4/5 instead of 5/5 stars. The fit and finish of the product is excellent and the stands are an attractive addition to the living room. Better stands exist but not at this price level. I recommend these stands to anyone looking to support a pair of bookshelf-sized speakers.

I really love the look of my Sanus 6-shelf A/v rack (NF206m).
The natural maple hue coupled with the glass and silver accents fit perfectly in the retro-modern decor of my family room.
It is currently holding the weight of 4 A/V components and a small stereo on top- Seems to hold the weight just fine, and has a sleeve to hide the cords in back. This 3-legged design is surprisingly stable- It makes no side-to-side movement at all. It can rock back-and-forth slightly. The only drawback is that it is a bit pricey- I feel the $$$ is more for the design and not the actual quality of the piece.
I also have the matching media tower (NFCDIIm).

Most audio stands are relatively flimsy and not that great looking when you get up close. Not so with the Sanus media rack. The stand comes in three beautiful finishes that integrate perfectly with the rest of the Natural Furniture line.

It's hard to tell from a single picture, but the stand is actually two sided and sits on a swivel base. The shelves are only as deep as a DVD (or so), so there is no wasted space behind your collection.

The shelves themselves are glass and can be spaced in a variety of ways. I found I didn't even use all of the shelves included.

I was very pleased with this unit. It did take awhile to assemble, but when it was finished it was beautiful. All the pieces lined up perfectly and are sized correctly and the instructions were very clear. The only complaint I have with the unit are the pegs that hold the shelves; they are silver and are quite noticable against the cherry finish. Nothing that can't be resolved with some spray paint. Overall, a great deal!
