why waste $15 when...
...you can buy the Phillips RCA Y-adapter for $4? Amazon carries the Phillips too, save your money and buy a pizza instead with the $10.

Monster Cable might be good for speaker wiring if you're an audiophile with actual supersensitive audiophile eardrums, but otherwise it's just a huge marketing gimmick.

It's a charm!
I bought this cable a week ago. My movie watching experience has been enhanced because i used the cable to hook up my TV to stereo. The sound quality is much better. I suggest this others. It's a must have if you are a movie, TV, or stereo person.

Yes, cables matter, but...
There are better choices than Monster, look into Kimber or Audioquest cables. For the same price, they are considerably better than Monster. Monster has the lion's share of low-end (read:zip-cord) and entry level hi-fi cables, because of great marketing. Go to any chain store (e.g. Best Buy) and you'll see Monster for sale.
Like most things in life, however, if you put a little effort into research you will find better choices, for similar prices. Make sure you buy from a place where you can return the item, however!
In my first real eye-opener as to cable differences, I switched from Monster to Audioquest 4's (.. no terminators, just bare wire)and my _wife_ noticed improved sound (she didn't know I'd changed anything).

Spend the extra money.
Ever since I started building a home theatre, I have upgraded the speakers to try to improve the quality of the sound. While the speakers were getting better and better, the sound wasn't improving like I was hoping. After purchasing these speaker wires and the subwoofer cable, I can tell what a difference the cables make in the sound quality. Don't buy high price, high quality speakers without investing the extra money to buy quality speaker wire. If the sound signal isn't pristine when it gets to the speaker, the speaker won't produce pristine sound.

Don't like it...
I have a Lyra Player and this case doesn't fit very well (very tight!!) You are better going for the Caselogic MP3 Case. You will love that one.

Good, but not great
The jogging case is great. i was using a cell phone case before, which didn't fit the lyra perfectly, but got the job done. this case is much better. the only unfortunate thing is the colour. the lyra just doesnt look as cool when its covered in blue.

Rumblefx Headphones forcefeedback for gamers & Audio Apps

    Cool, but poor construction
These headphones are resole under diffrent names over and over. Let me tell you something, they are expensive and are [bad]. Sure it vibrates but if you feel the construction there is something wrong. Fake wire stoppers, bad middle unit position, weak screws, [bad] hardware overall. Do not get this unless you like RMAs.

    great headphones for the price
looking at this amazon listing for these headphones, i see a very blank page. Well no wonder these babies aren't selling. first and foremost, let me tell you about the force feedback on these headphones. force feedback is a technology where "something" vibrates. for example the controllers for PS2. they rumble when ur character gets hit or u fall or something. same thing with these headphones. In counterstrike or Unreal, throw a grenade or fire a rocket... and feel it's explosion. what these headphones do is takes any bass, and adds a proportional amount of shaking. One of my favorite things to do in counterstrike is buying the m4a1 rifle, slapping on a silencer to increase the bass, turning the force feedback to level II, and letting it rip. these headphones are definitely for any hardcore gamer and even fledgling gamers because they do help out ur skills. In counterstrike, you can hear (and sometimes feel) your enemies before you see them. For music, the force feedback is ennnnngghhh. great for dance beats like techno or for rap. anything with heavy bass. but the magic in these headphones is still in gaming. if you want to use these for music tho, a good thing is that u can turn off the force feedback. In fact there are 3 settings: off, I, and II.
now on to comfort cuz thats an important thing with headphones. everything is nicely padded on these babies. the headphones fit nicely over your ears with enough space so that ur poor earlobes and such aren't crushed. even the band gets kudos from me cuz of their comfort. the soft padding won't make a dent in ur head like some other headphones i've tried when u wear them for long periods of time. the headphones have purposely been "bent" meaning that the band and the earparts are not in a 90 degree fashion. when you put the headphones, you should adjust them so that they sit straight on ur ears first, and then u will realize that the band sits more forward on ur head than most other headphones. this is smart cuz they're more comfortable that way and they don't easily slip off.
hey you kno, they're are a lot of reviews out there for these headphones. go read up on them. it really is a great buy. and from what i can figure out, they stopped manufacturing them (i think) so the already really low prices have dropped to around [$$] incredible price for an incredible product.
oh yeah. before i forget, they take 2 AAA batteries for a 30 hr usage... not bad... just remember to turn em off when ur done

    Mixed up
I sent my son out to pick up another base and he brought this back. It's nice and all but I asked for a base. I coach little league and some dog's run off with second base for the third time this month. The boy's just mixed up. Anyway it's got good color and a deep sound - but I always thought these things had six strings. You learn something new every day.

    Awesome
This guitar was awesome. I got it yesterday. Totally sweet.

      Don't Waste Your Money
The CD-R's are the worst possible ones that I could have bought. Out of a pack of 50 over half were unusable. I had never had a problem with my burner before. I landed up having to throw out the other pack of 50 that I had bought. Stick with Imation. They are the same price and never have I had one be unusable.

      Sony CD-R Audio
I can only speak of my experience with the Sony CD-R Audio. I have yet to make a coaster nor have I even had an issue with the longevity of a CD. I burn all of my music CDs with the Sony RCD-W222ES. I use this strictly for burning music CDs. I have found that these CDs using this recorder are much better in quality than anything I've ever burned using my PC. I would recommend looking into purchasing this recorder if anyone wishes to produce any quality CDs.

Great for CD's, lousy with MP3's and ATRACS.
      Pros:
      1. Long battery life.
      2. Decent sount (on CD's).
      3. Easy to read display.

      Cons:
      1. Plays first quarter of an MP3 fine, then it starts scratching and eventually stops.
      2. Plays first tenth of an ATRAC disk fine, then it starts scratching and eventually stops.
      3. Takes about 5 - 10 minutes (not seconds!) to read a MP3 disc before playing.
      4. Button placement makes it easier to use with your left hand rather than right.
      5. You have to press a button rather hard and long to make the function work.

In other words, if you listen to the radio and CD's only - and are left handed, this is the perfect player for you!

      Operates faultlessly
This player takes CDs, including CD-Rs and CD-RWs with 20+ hours of mp3 on them, in stride. It plays them through, and does fast forward and rewind about as well as my solid-state mp3 player. Utilizing CD-RWs, I use this unit instead of a juke box. I still use my solid-state mp3 player only because it is more compact than this unit. As I prefer having TV audio available, no other player/receiver would have entirely satisfied me. The impressive technical accomplishment of this product will cause me to favor Sony products in future.

The exterior design does leave things to be desired. The control buttons are cheesy and hard to operate. The display is too small. Instead of a carrying case or an anchor for a strap, there is a stupidly designed protruding flexible handle that makes the unit twice as bulky as it needs to be.

Great recorder BUT no external mic jack!
I was very impressed with this product until I needed an external mic jack. It does not have one. Considering the price paid, it should. I ended up having to spend an additional $50 to get another machine that has one! I'll be selling my Sony, which is a shame as the clarity and functioning of this machine are superb!

Great quality sound, not a big price
Hey does it matter if you can hear what you record? Well, if it does then this is a great little recorder, with not a big price.
Variable speeds. Only the reverse control is slightly awkward, and this is because I have used the same tape recorder since 1985. New Technology, you never get used to it.

      Not a Good Choice
The sound quality of the microcassette format is increasing. Sony almost always makes just about the best electronic device in most any category. Unfortunately, neither of these facts applies to this model (nor to any Sony microcassette recorder). Although sturdily built, possessing nice features and easy to use controls and being reasonably lightweight, the M679 just doesn't sound very good at all. The playback is distorted so much that, even at low volume levels, it sounds like the volume is turned all the way up, and I'm not referring to the loudness, but the clarity of playback. Unless whatever speech you're recording (these devices are not intended for music) is spoken directly into the mic from a distance of a few feet or less, you will have some difficulty making out words, especially if the speaker doesn't use good diction.

I cannot recommend this unit, nor any Sony microcassette recorder for that matter (I've had several from Sony), because, of all the great products they make, they somehow misstepped in this category. If you want a good microcassette recorder, I'd recommend something from Olympus, or if excellent sound quality is really important, go with a Sony digital recorder, an area in which they more than made up for the shortcomings of their microcassette line.

      Sony Pressman
Excellent Product. Easy to Operate. Clear recording. Recommend hightly.

It's a nice and cheap walkman and "It's a Sony". It's sice is ideal for long walks hearing your favorite music

      Very good!
This is a very good walkman at a cheap price. Some walkmans are like $100 and up. This one is below $50. It is a good price. It is very good if you like to jog around the block.
