It does everything they say it does, and looks and works great, it is hard to get to excited about this product, but I don't understand why would spend alot on one of these, buy two, use it till it is dead, throw it away and bust out the back up model, or buy another one. Lets face it, this is a portable stereo, and they get worked, don't spend alot, enjoy it and when/if it dies buy a new one. this one is great, and works great for the price, it was as expected for the money.

This memorex cd player/am/fm tuner is totally awesome!!!
because:

Am/fm tuner works good, and works even better if you press MODE.
Cd player works good even on scratched cds.
Cd player doesn't skip at all only if it's badly damaged.
Headphones work good.
Presets are easy to set.
Not complicated to configure.

SO GO BUY IT!

I really liked this product a lot, besides the fact that it has a cheesy MTV logo on it, though it's black and sort of blends in. I take this on trips all the time! It's wonderful! It holds my player and my CD wallet, which is small.

This has got to be one of best best cd players I've owned!
Yes,it may look simular to the Memorex model with it's buttons in a circle and simular playback but it much better.
I've had this player for almost 4 weeks,and in that time it's been a wonderfull experiance.I love the idea that I can carry all of my favorite cd's from my huge collection on one little disc!
It's VSF is better then most cd players with MP3 playback.At 120 sec,it's virtual skip proof like it says!
When playing a regular cd it plays faster then with a mp3cd.The only thing that I dislike is that you have to have alot of batteries on hand because it eats them like candy!
And just like the Memorex,it takes awhile for the mp3 chip to reconize disc.If you wanna make your friends jealous,this is the player to do it.My friends couldn't believe MTV made a cd player.I am very happy with this player,it has played very well.
To anyone reading this and thinking of buying one....JUST DO IT you'll love it.

This is a GREAT sounding CD changer that's very easy to operate! Onkyo seems to have covered the installation bases by offering optical, coaxial and analog output choices. The changer mechanism is quiet and relatively quick. The remote is very straight forward. Also, light above the tray is a useful feature when changing discs. An all around top quality unit. Do your CD and MP3 collection a favor-your ears will appreciate it!

This is one of the best deals on the DVD player market. First rate sound, video, and features with a bargain price. I own a Go Video D2730 networked DVD player also and I thoght it is a decent one. Bought this one just for some dialog enhancement. Never imagined this Panasonic one makes so much difference in sound and video quality. One of my best buys ever!

Now this is what you should expect out of a DVD player (and for the price!). Every DVD I've played in this player has been top-notch and only increases any viewing experience you might have. The 5-disc carousel is a blessing for DVD titles such as Fight Club which incorporates 2 dvd's and allows you to go back and forth. Another simply amazing feature included is a dialogue enhancer which allows you to actually enjoy the movie (on your system with a center channel) instead of constantly having to adjust the volume. The scan feature is a plus but for anybody that looking to get the most out of their DVD experience this is a great buy!

When I got this inexpensive player, I was expecting bad sound and even worse quality...but, I was wrong !
The power output for the headphones included with it, is clear and more than adecuate; for everyday music, I listen at 15 (minimun 0, max 25) and I don't have any problems, however for quiet classical music (Tchaikovsky)it needs to be set at 23-25.
If you plan to use it in a very noisy enviroment, get some different headphones (closed type) and a headphone's amplifier.
It is not heavy to carry around, but it does not have a belt clip.
The EQ works, but does not provide much difference, however there is some.
Now for the MP3's, it is a little confusing at the begining, the way the folders are set up, but it is not a huge problem, however when you burn your CD's, if you have it, use software with volume normalizer and set it as loud as you can without distortion, and you will enjoy your music.
Battery life, I don't know, as I use it only 3 or 4 hours a day, and I really don't keep track.
One last word, IT IS made of plastic and kind of fragile, if you are going to put it in your backpack under several books, it might no be the player for you.

This player is fabulous-it never skips, the remote control is great, I highly recommend it.
