I bought this CD player after my other CD player decided to stop working (running 24/7 for several months didn't treat it well), and while generally pleased with it (sounds great, works fine, yadda, yadda) I have a few nits to pick: The functionality embodied on the remote is not present on the front of the unit, annoying if you loose the remote; sometimes it plays through all five discs, sometimes not. Other than that, a good player.

The Denon DCM-65 is my second piece of audio equipment that I have gotten from AMAZON.I must say the deals on such good brand name equipment is mind blowing.When the CD player arrived I hooked it up to my Nakamichi AV3S Pro Logic recever.The sound that comes from the four speakers(2 Infinity SM120 & 2 Boston Acoustics A100)is amazing,it's almost like hearing my CDs for the first time.The HDCD filter is a wonderful feature as well.Just look on your CDs for HDCD and put it in the player.When a HDCD is in the player a red light will come on next to the display.HDCDs sound amazing,I really could not believe what I was hearing.Take my word on this one,HDCDs really do sound great.The player is set up very well,everything you need & not a bunch of buttons that you dont need.The player also has a handy remote that is very easy to use.One feature I like is the disc exchange.This is simply if you are listening to a disc,just hit the open/close button & put in another CD.To sum it up a great 5 Disc CD Changer at another Great AMAZON price.Once again you really need to check out HDCDs and this player has the filter to play them. Thank You once again AMAZON.

I've always been amazed by the sound quality of Denon equipment, but let's face it... Denon equipment is not inexpensive. This CD player brings the pristine Denon sound into an affordable range; nearly the same price as any other 5-disc changer on the market.

The Denon DCM-65 seems to be very well made with a speedy, quiet changer mechanism that allows four discs to be changed while the fifth continues to play. All control buttons on the face of the unit are above the drawer so they are still accessible even when it is open.

The sound quality of this unit is top-notch. Both standard audio CDs and HDCD CDs sound fantastic. After several hours of continuous listening, there was no "fatigue" that is common of players with lesser digital to analog conversion processors. Also, the unit had no difficulty reading homemade CD-R discs.

The remote control is well laid out and the disc/track/time display on the front of the CD changer is easily read from across the room.

Overall, this is a fantastic value in CD changers. Buy one and you won't be disappointed.

I PURCHASED THIS FOR MY WIFE. IT REPLACES AN OLDER MODEL. SHE WANTED ANOTHER JVC JUST LIKE THE ONE SHE HAD. SHE LOVES IT.

I got the boombox in January and all my friends love it....i just adore it.. The music quality is really good and also the output is good...especially when i listen to techno song...the remote also comes in handy...plus everything is digital which is of great convinience

I received this boombox for Christmas and have been very satisfied with its performance. Radio reception from the digital tuner is quite good, and the remote is intuitive and extremely useful. The sound controls include the requisite bass boost and a neat tone control (essentially treble) with six different settings. Finally, this unit represents a very good value for your money. Recommended.

I own this player, Koss Headphones, and a set of Koss loudspeakers and love them all. Top quality and sound. The only gripe I have is one I have with ALL boomboxes. Loading doors on top. When are the designers going to figure out that the top, where they almost always place the loading doors, is where all the dust and dirt gather. Flat smooth top for cleaning and front load for keeping the inside clean. Please!!

Love it, love it, love it. For your money, this CD boombox is at the top of the list. Over the years I have owned many Koss products, and several other brands that were a lot more expensive. Would I switch to another manufacturer - no way! Nothing beats a Koss for quality, sound and durability. No wonder it is difficult for retailers to keep this product in stock!

I bought two of these for my 12 and 17 year old daughters, and they love them. The digital tuner with 10 AM and 10 FM presets lets them program in their favorite stations, and the remote then lets them channel surf from station to station avoiding commercials and looking for their favorite songs without having to sit next to the box and push buttons on it. Same is true for flipping around tracks on a CD with the remote. Nice sound for a unit in this price range.

I bought the higher end Panasonic CD player which is model 361c, which has 40 seconds of anti-shock memory II, car-kit and back-lit LCD... The back-lit LCD only stays lit when used with the adapter for the car or for the adapter to plug into the wall. the headphones included were pretty junk considering that when you turn on the great extra bass system the sound comes out distorted. you need to get a good pair of headphones to get the best out of the XBS (extra bass system).

This CD player is awesome! At first I also thought that 10 seconds of electronic skip protection would not be enough, but it has never skipped on me. A lot better than my friends Philip Magnavox 40 second antiskip. The only Con to this cd player is the head phones which are functional, but they do not put out the sound of some other comparitive headphones. This problem seems to be common of Panasonic headphones. I would definately reccomend this cd player to the music enthusiast.

I bought this cd-player in July 1998. I still have it and it works perfectly. The amount of times I have dropped this item is unbelievable but it never once gave me a problem.

You can't ask for more in a cheap discman. You get 10 Seconds antishock (enough for me in the car), XBS on/off (Extra Bass), 30 track programing and some other modes. If you find the 10 Second Antishock a problem, you can probably buy a later model for not much more with 20 secs or even a 40 second one. Another excellent thing about this product is the Rechargeable batteries. It comes with a built in recharger for the AA rechargeable batteries. I have only had to buy about 5 sets of the rechargeable batteries in for my nearly 2 years overused cd player.

In conclusion, this is a great solution for a little price. The only thing a changed were the headphones which I replaced with the one that fit inside your ears.

My husband loves it. He's gone through a couple different brands of CD players, most much more expensive that that this one and says of all of them he likes the Audiovox one best! Being a musician he's using it a lot, especially while practicing at home.

This cd player is OK. It isnt the best but its pretty good.It only has 6 buttons, but one is bass boost.The colors are OK,too. They should make different colors though.

These babies are loud and you can use an extension. There are other inexpensive ones like this.You need a portable disc player if you dont want to be bored out of your mind.

Note first that this is the only mp3 player I've ever owned (though I have used hard-drive-based players from Archos and Creative for recording sociological research interviews, and have played mp3 songs on them). Anyway, I was given this Classic player a year and a half ago by a homeless guy I knew when I lived in Cleveland. He found it somewhere, and it was missing the battery cover. But I've used it since then, and it has continued to work despite having no battery cover and being dropped a number of times on granite while on backpacking trips. I'm comfortable navigating with it. No LCD display, so you've got to remember the order of albums (in folders) on the mp3 disc, but that's not too much of an issue. The sound isn't perhaps the best, but it's your basic 1-bit digital to analog, with a little noise shaping. I'm enough of an audiophile to be buying a new player now, but I've been pleased with this one. And it's still going... I'm giving it to my brother.

I got this product about a year ago at the day after Thanksgiving day special. I have used it well and I belive it to be worthwhile. The main cons to the deivice I found was that after 9 months the random button (for all albums) for MP3 [quit].The player works well for MP3s on CD-Rs but not CD-RWs. That and the random button with occasional glitches on the forward button have me looking for a new player. The player works great for students who ride busses and are board easy. It was cost effective for a poor student and it work for me. I haven't used with anything but rechargable batteries and they work well. I haven't had the batteries [quit] on me while using them yet.

I used this thing for several months and I loved it, now I've got a until with backscreen light.
This thing plays everything, even CD-RW; an advice tho', when using a CD-RW don't burn the songs directy, use a software like Nero or Real Player. Also, try to reburn all your mp3's in the CD-RW from time to time or even format the CD. Otherwise the unit may not recognize all the new tracks; that also happens with more expensive units. I find it a very reliable CD/MP3 player; however, the sound is not perfect. There is a constant buzz that is even more annoying when a song is paused. But for [money amount], I do recommend it. I got it for almost two years now, and it still works.

This CD player has great sound to it. Its color is really appealing as well. This disadvatages to this CD player I found were that it uses up batteries fast and it does not have a hold button. It is really great if you like to have good Bass sound, because it has a DBBS Bass system that works really great. The anti-skip works well, I have not had it skip yet. A great sounding CD player overall!

I actually have the silver one, but I wish I would have bought this personal CD player first.

I bought 2 Sony ones before this. The first one was dropped and was broken beyond repair. The second one was a 'car ready' mode, but the car kit it came with didn't work so well.

This Memorex CD player is great for putting in my backpack to listen to at school, or in my car. I hadn't used it in my car in a while because I bought a car with a CD player. Well, I wrecked that car and the new one has an 'old school' tape deck. Fortunately, this CD player, with car accessories still works like a dream.

This is the perfect cd player! It's red so it will be good for a christmas present for either a boy or a girl! so if you're looking for a bargain you've found it, and if your looking for the perfect present this is it! And if you're shoping late it usually ships with in 24 hours! That's it!

This is a great portable cd player -- one of the best I've tested -- but I think that it is a little flimsy. I abuse my electronics, and I like them to be durable. (Read: I drop my nice things quite often.) But the sound quality on this product is top notch -- and the headphones are very very nice. I also like the red rim (also available in blue). The button configuration is easy to use; all of them are in the right places. But I think the best thing about this player is the fact that you can use two different types of batteries! You can insert two AA or two AAA. There are different battery covers provided to accomodate these different configurations. What an awesome feature!

I highly recommend this product.

Just got it today this thing is awsome its really thin and lightweight the sound quality is exelent and the headphones it comes with are great they are the kind that go behind your head.I really like the design the buttons are in all the right places.Im only dissapointed about the durability the cover is a little loose and I dont think it has the repeat option and thats why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars.I also like how it looks and its some of it is red so thats pretty cool.

I recently bought this cd player off of ebay as a replacement for my messed up Sony D-EJ360 Walkman (wouldn't read disc). So far, I have had absolutely no problems with this VERY pretty cd player. The first thing that caught my attention was the thinness of this device. The pictures dont do the justice for the look of this cd player. Great Buy. Recommend to everyone!!
