Hip hop
VladI've tried every iRiver, RioVolt , etc..and this is the best!
I usually listen to jazz and some rock and this guy rocks! Smooth bass and at the meantime it's fast, middles are distinguish and bright, highs are crispy and not annoying. You can listen to music for hours without getting tired which is the hi-fi attribute of quality. It's definitely not a MP3 player and it shouldn't be! If you really want a hi-end sound it's always on CD's , not in MP3 disks. I've got an MP3 Player too.
It's Sony D-CJ01(with remote $40 on ebay.com) which is a winner for MP3's on disks.
I think everyone who is about to buy the similar product (Sony D-EJ2000)has to realize what he or she is going for. If you need a perfect sound, then this CD Player is exactly what you need.
Highly recommended with a new pair of headphones!

Definately worth it's price...
You have to buy it, to believe it!Truly, this little, compact, tight CD player is the best. I am an avid jogger/dancer, and my one and only problem was the constant skipping, and halting of any other CD player I had. Well, I have kissed that problem goodbye. I jump, I shake, I just move everything you can imagine, and this awesome CD player does not miss a single beat!
I was soo amazed. Believe me, I had a Sony sports walkman, and this Panasonic SLSW880K rocks compared to it. The remote control feature on the headphones is pretty nifty. The VMSS sound shaker is mind boggling in itself. What else can I say except, if you really want an OUT there sound enhancing and body bumping CD Player, then this is the one for YOU!

CD Unit Doesn't Take & Keep: No support.the unit up with help from an electronics technician--the Manual is very poor, undetailed and does not even include contact numbers or logins to reach Sony--I got a big surprise. The CD(s) when fed in kept being spit out. We tried to get
a CD to stay in. I tried many different CDs, all which played
well on other boom boxes and systems. The CD would not be
accepted.
I did not buy for MP3 use. The system looks better than
depicted. The radio sound was okay. I wanted a multi-play
CD system. I had looked at the comparable Panasonic unit
but decided to go "Sony." My experience with a top loading
Panasonic system was not good. The Sony doesn't even take.
I live near Orlando. The nearest service center is 140 mi.
away. The vendor did not have the warranty. To send it back for service = $140 + shipping.
A local serviceperson stated this was a "throw-away" item in that if it broke, the repairs were nearly impossible.
I must throw it away. Sony! Any suggestions? The micro-chip(s)
tied into the CD system is/are bad. Factory installed, go try finding any or fixing it.
Thought about itSo I bought the Sharp XLHP500, which does have play exchange, wonderful sound quality, and great looks. Check it out.

Pretty Darn F-unnyThrowaway items are no longer acceptable in our current business or consumer environments. Therefore, this one gets a wholehearted "thumbs down."
CD Roulette 101
Simple, affordable...a good choice. No complaints about this unit except for some internally placed amber LED lights that flash on and off when the disc is changing. Soon as I can, I'm going to get some black electrical tape and cover those flashies over. Also, I couldn't get the universal Pioneer remote control to control this CD player, so I ended up just using two remotes.
Another benefit of having a 100 CD player is you can include some of your CD singles. Myself, I never listened to my CD singles because it was a pain to load one disc up for only a couple songs. But when they are part of a 100 CD mix, suddenly the singles have a real purpose. If you have a bunch of singles, and are concerned you'd fill up the 100 slots too fast, nothing would stop you from burning a bunch of your singles onto one CD (if you have a CD burner in your computer); using random play, you'll hear tracks you haven't heard in a long time.

1 OV THE BEST CD PLAYERS
This is a great Player, highly recommendedAs for playing CD's, it has never failed me. Not once, not ONCE has this player skipped. For background info, although it does not say so, it is really water resistant. (I am a member on a swim team that goes to long 1 week away meets almost once a month, and this player goes with me EVERYWHERE. To the pool, hotel, restaurants, everywhere I have dropped it a few (to say the least...) times, and it played great afterwards.))
The headphones, are, erm... not the greatest. (Since I gave it 5 stars, all of the other good features out-weighed the bad ones...)They sound fine, but i do recommed getting new ones. (you don't have to spend a lot either, i am currently using Koss KSC-50's, wich sound GREAT, and they were only $13)
The sounds that the player picks up on the sound are incredible. really. I am currently using Good Charlotte 'The Young and the Hopeless' and one track 4, you can hear the guitars as if they were right near you. You can hear their fingernails plucking the strings. ( Its not a bad thing, they sound so much better!) The on thing I do have to point out is the bass. IT IS OUTSTANDING!
The only other thing I complain about is the ambsence of a clip or hand strap, but i bought one and it works fine.
I highly recommend this player. (It is ANYTHING BUT flimsy..... no hard feelings!)
CD discman
- Digital Mega Bass sound system
- 10-hour playback
- Heat-resistant lid
- 5 modes

frustratingThe bottom line: buy this if you see it for cheap or you won't be using it much, other wise go with something else.
Not as bad as they Say
Takes a lickin...
