Sorry ... for just an audio cable is ridiculous to me!So far, everybody knows that the improvement in signal quality from Monster Cable is so little compared to its huge jump in price. This argument is much more convincing in case of digital signal. Believe me, with your human ears you can't detect the difference between Monster Cable and the generic. Also except you intentionally abuse the audio cables by twisting them or bending them sharply, the generic cables will do the job very well, even the cheapest ones. So do yourself a favor... except you're rich and don't mind spending money.
Cable works, but pricyWhile I was happy with the cable, I can't see any advantage over a cheaper generic cable. Digital is digital.
Are these better than 'normal' cables - I think so....I think these cables are worth getting even though you might not experience 'audio improvement', the fact that they stand up to 'abuse' better is enough reason for me. END

Good Concept, Poor FM Radio, Poor Tone
Nice CD playing, Nice Tape playing, Poor radio receptionSo, sadly, we are going to take it back.
If you would like a compact boombox with a nice sound, and don't listen to AM radio, I would still recommend it.
Great Alarm ClockPROS: 2 alarms, one is the standard beep, the other can be set for the radio or the cd. It has a good sound for such a small unit--it's more like a boom box in shape and sound, than a regular alarm clock. It has a remote. It has three different settings for the clock display, bright, medium and off. So far, the clock has kept really good time (I've had it a little over a month). You can pre-program 12 radio stations. There is a nice sound equalizer.
CONS: The clock display is a little small, and it does not display while the alarm is going off, just the radio settings or CD settings display. I like to lay in bed a while and listen to the radio before I get up, but I like to know what time it is too. You have to push a button to see what time it is. It is necessary to turn the unit "off" for the CD/Radio alarm to go off--this took a little getting used to. You can still listen to the radio or CD player while going to sleep, but you have to use the sleep function. It is tricky switching the alarm to radio, it wants to always be the CD player, and there are no clear instructions on how to do it. I just fooled around with it until I got the radio set, and now I don't touch that part of the alarm setting.
Overall, I really like this alarm clock. The cons are not anything I can't live with, and I have pretty much used this to replace both my alarm clock and my old boombox.

MP3 buggy
Good but disappointedHas played everything so far without skips
Price
Cons
NO FREAKING REMOTE!!!
No "scan" capability when listening to MP3's
Big pause between songs when listening to MP3's
Overall it's a pretty good unit for the price but it's missing some things that should be standard (like scanning). And I chose this model over others because it was supposed to have a remote.
SLIM, TRIM, AND FIT MP3/CD PLAYERThe most amazing thing for me was this players size. In comparison to most portable CD/MP3 players in the market right now, this has got to be the smallest. I have compared it to most players out there, and not even SONY has come up with a smaller size MP3/CD player. To me it seems since this MP3/CD player thing is still new, most companies out there are starting us off with bulky equipment so that later you will be tempted to buy their newer slicker upcoming models. I think in that respect, Panasonic jumped the gun and gave the consumer what they really wanted.
I purchased the unit mostly so that I could play my MP3/CD's in my car without having the need for a CD/CHANGER. The unit works beautifully and does not skip(45-sec for CD-DA and 100-sec for MP3 playback). The unit also offers up to 40 hours MP3 playback on two "AA" Alkaline Batteries and up to 30 hours for your regular music CD's making it the longest I have found. The unit has a stylish finish and is not thick or oversized/bulky like some others I have compared it too.
Overall, it has been a great little MP3/CD player and with care should give you lasting hours of good music. The unit has Good quality sound and like most portable CD players, the headphones are not the best and should be replaced for some quality ones. I also found out that not all these units include the remote like you see in the picture, mine did not come with the remote (I don't know why) which would have been very helpful. I think maybe I should write Panasonic about it. So, if you want a slim, trim, and fit MP3/CD player I suggest you look at the Panasonic SL-MP36C.

No good for exercising, Fine for sitting.I think the controls (buttons) are very well designed and the price was the lowest I found.
Rio Volt SP60I believe since the software in the SP60 is Version 1.0, it's possible there are still some format issues yet to solve. The RioVolt company could not assist in any way, so the unit was returned.
perfect, and no nonsenseA great player that isn't rocket science to figure out how to work, you won't be disapointed

- Plays virtually any CD including CD-R and CD-RW formats
- Dub at up to 4x speed (that's 600,000 characters per second), which means you can record a 60 minute CD in about 15 minutes!
- Synchro-Start Record mode means a fully synchronized recording from the original
- 24-Bit DAC
- Dual independent audio outputs

Don't make the same mistake I did.
I'm happy with mineOne thing I wish Sony (as well as some other manufacturers) would do is to make their owners manuals available online for download. This would enable people who were shopping online to see the manual before they buy. I'm glad to say it contained no unpleasant surprises.
Does everything I need it to.If you are like me and don't need a professional grade cd-recorder I would recommend this one.
