    Superior In Every Way
I support and install internet telephony solutions for a broad range of business customers. I have tried many headphone solutions. This is by far the best headset I have ever used. My customers all report 5 star feedback as well.
The sound is crisp and clean... Suprisingly rich audio.
The microphone is crystal clear to those listening on the other end. I would recommend this headset to anyone that needs professional quality. And the price is great too!
    Thanks Amazon!

    Excellent value!
This is a great little headset! It is light and comfortable, which are two very important factors if you plan to use it for long stretches of time. More importantly, the microphone delivers excellent sound quality for both voice recognition and for voice recording, such as for narrating presentations or movies. The microphone is quite directional; you can have music going at a reasonable level in the room, and the microphone will pick up your voice with no problem. This headset is a great value.

If you are looking for a good headset at a good price, this is the one!

Excellent Headset at a Low Price!!!
I purchased this headset about a year ago. Anyone who uses a headset on a regular basis knows that most reasonably priced headsets are not so reasonably durable. This headset, however, is well-made and has stood the test of time for me.

The headpiece is rubbery soft and adjustable. The earpieces are extremely comfortable, do not cause uncomfortable pressure on the ears, and provide clear-as-a-bell sound quality. The mic allows 2-way adjustment. It can be moved horizontally and vertically to allow the best position for speech reception and comfortability.

I have used this headset to communicate with friends and family over the internet through voice-enabled (VOIP) messenger services such as MSN Messenger. Those individuals reported they could hear me just as clear as if we were talking to one another on the telephone.

The manufacturer provides added convenience to this headset by including a USB adapter. This eliminates the need to unplug your computer speakers in order to plug in the headset.

Also, the headset cord is lengthy enough for those who need the ability to stand up and move around their desk space.

I am please to say that out of the many headsets I've used, this one is the best performing, most comfortable, & most durable.I'd even go so far as to say that it is of higher overall quality than other name-brand headsets that cost much more. The Telex H-841 USB Digital Computer Headset is a true bargain at this price.

    A power user
I have used the H51-M12 Plantronics headset for several years. I am in sales and often wear the headset up to 8 hours a day without any fatigue. It is extremely comfortable, has excellent sound quality and works with 95% of phones. However, you may want to contact Plantronics to make sure it works with the particular brand and model of phone you will be using.

    Editorial Review is Incorrect
The editorial review incorrectly states that "unlike other headsets, a typical multiline phone will not default to the H51-M12's headset when you press a line button. With this unit, you have to remove the handset from the cradle in order to use the headset. Pressing a line button activates the speakerphone." Actually, the ability to leave the handset on the hook is entirely dependent on the telephone itself and has absolutely nothing to do with the headset. A headset ready telephone will default to the M12 and a non-headset ready telephone will not (the phone may need to be programmed). Check your telephone manual to see if it is headset ready (most manuals are poorly organized and there may not be a section specifically for headsets - check either the speakerphone, handsfree, or "how to answer a call" section of the manual). There are occasional exceptions to this rule - a few phone systems, less than one percent, are built with a certain type of headset in mind (your manual will say if this is true) - but those phones are few and far between.

    good product
I have been using it for the past 4 month almost every day, and it is really worth every cent. If you are the type of person who use the phone in front of the pc then this is what you exactly need. the good thing that you can use it with any phone regardless of the brand. it turned my cheap phone into a great phone.

    Great Headphones
Great sound, comfortable though they pinch my ears a bit after more than an hour.

    Some Nice Heaphones
These heaphones sound great, especially with MiniDisk Players. The bass sounds great and it hits the high notes head on. Distortion of sound is very limited, which lets you pump up the volume. If your looking for some stylish headphones with good sound these will fit right in. You can't go wrong.

    THE BEST DEAL
This is my FAVORITE pair of headphones. I have bought and tried many headphones......but nothing......nothing....could compare 2 these. These have excellent bass and EXCELLENT highs. They have an EXCELLENT frequency range.....14hz-24Khz.They have the capacity of holdin 1 WATT(1,000 miliwatts)! Most powered speakers for cd players dont have that much handling capabilities. These have sound clarity that is uncomparable. They have 30mm drivers. which mean low bass and high highs. They also have excellent sound distribution. they have a silent cap. Also these things are THE best looking. They are PIMP. U can change its colors 2 match ur shirt. These are a lot better than the clip on sony headphones. They are very comfortable and u can be standing upside down and these things wouldnt fall of. Also these things have only 1 cord and it rarely gets tangled.Believ me this is a great buy ....

Best AM performance on a pocket radio.
Excellent sensitivity and selectivity (both front-end and IF) on the AM band--at least equal to and usually superior to the Sangean ATS-909 (digital AM/FM/SW/LW receiver). Analog tuning very easy despite the technology. Single alkaline AA cell estimated by Sony to last 140 hours on AM. No "soft" on-off switch, a plus to prevent accidental power-up. Battery compartment hatch is attached by hinges and snaps shut securely, so it won't just pop open if jostled nor get lost. Note: lack of speaker is also a plus; a speaker on a radio this small would be next to useless, as it is the case with the Radio Shack Optimus (cat. no. 12-610), another analog AM/FM pocket radio just slightly smaller than the SRF-59.

    Fantastically awesome radio!!!
Over the years I have bought various "walkman type" radios from various manufacturers. This Sony is a fantastic radio. I have owned analog and digital tuners and find the sensitivity and selectivity of this radio to be on par, if not above, digital tuners. Don't let the low price and non-frills appearance fool you. The sound is top rate and the output is sufficient to drive the headphones with very little input from the volume control. Sure you don't get some features that one gets with digital receivers, but I listen to one station while exercising so channel surfing isn't an issue. I am very well pleased with this radio and for the money, you can't beat it.

    Best AM reception
This radio has the best AM reception of any portable that I've heard. Better than a Sony digital tuning portable radio, better than the various cassette/radios I've owned, better than an expensive Sangean portable that I tried. I also own a Grundig Yacht Boy and the AM reception is at least as good (using the reel antenna on the YB). It even has a local/dx switch, just like the Grundig. I should point out that I use this primarily at work, in a high-rise building in a city.

It's small enough to fit in shirt pocket and is very light. One NIMH AA rechargable battery will power this radio for over 40 hours (the length of a work week).

Though not in stereo, FM reception is also very good. This is an analog tuning radio, so it can take a little time to lock in some stations.

Currently I am on the third of these radios. I drop them a lot and after a 2-3 years of abuse, the antenna is dislodged, which ruins AM reception. This is my fault and I plan on being more careful with this latest one, maybe wrap it in foam or something to cushion it.

This is a great little radio that you should not overlook in favor of those with more features.

Perhaps the best buy in high quality headphones today
The HD-580s are probably the best buy in quality headphones going today. These are true audiophile headphones that bring quality construction and sound with them. The 580s are akin to the equivalent of a pair of $1100 speakers if you use the rule of thumb of $1 for headphones for every $6 in speakers. [I own a pair of ACI Sapphires and a pair of Quad speakers].

While other headphone companies make quality gear, they really don't have anything at this price point that performs well. Grado's R2, a great headphone in its own right, is over two hundred dollars more than the 580.

The reason for their value, I think, is that it contains much of the same internal electronics as the HD-600 and 650s. These retail for at least $150 or so more than the 580s, the only difference being the 580s are made of hard plastic and the 600/650s have additional electronics that only nominally effect sound.

    These get my highest recommendation.

A great compliment to any stereo system
I received these headphones for Christmas. After searching for headphones, having used a few (Grado 60, Sony MDR-V4 and V6s), I find the HD580s are great.
They are comfortable, offer great sound reproduction and imaging and are adequate in bass. What's interesting is the fact that they are good enough to hear things I've not heard on some of my music CDs. I haven't experienced ear fatigue that I usually get with other headphones. Highly recommended!

    Great for the long haul
I have a pair of 580s I bought over 9 years ago, and paid almost twice the current price. They are still the best sounding, most comfortable headphones I've ever used. I listen to music 8+ hours a day at work. These headphones are incredibly comfortable. Sound reproduction is excellent, I originally bought them to listen to live recordings I was making of local bands. They work great with my dat deck, or with my pc. After nine years the only signs of wear is the thin piece of foam between your ear and the speaker element. It's finally worn enough to need replacement. Should anything happen to these, I would buy another pair immediately.

    Great phones
So far these phones have been great! Very comfortable, and the cloth part is removeable and (hand)washable. The 11' cord is a plus, and it picks up details normally lost with my speakers. On the other hand it also picks up static from cheap cd players and sound cards. One of the few issues I have is a lack of mass in the music. Sometimes it seems kinda hollow. Also, with certain songs it seems to tend towards oversaturation, but once again, it could be quality issues with the rest of my equipment. Overall, an excellent choice, especially if you go with one of the zShops.

Sublime Sound, Solidly Built - You won't be disappointed!
Wow, what a difference. I couldn't stand the flimsy "standard issue" headsets that come with just about every portable audio device out there. Not only the constant adjusting, like glasses always slipping, the sound was thin at best distorted at worst. These new "cans" are sweeeeeeeeeeet, extremely comfortable and the sounds are absolutely sublime. I use these to listen to a variety of music styles all stored in iTunes in my Mac. I also plan on using them as monitors for recording purposes. Brand-new they seem solidly built are handsome to look at and with a replaceable chord I expect these will be with me for quite some time.

    Great Sound, Extremely Comfortable
These are awesome headphones that can easily handle all the output of any portable device. There is a fair amount of sound deadening on these headphones for i can barely makeout what people say when the volume is off, but when the using at high volume sounds and lyrics are audible across my small dormroom. These are easily the most comfortable over ear headphones i've ever tried. They play smoothly throughout the entire frequency range playing anything i listen to such hip-hop, pop, rock, and classical. These are full-size over-ear headphones but effectively do what they are intended to do. They also seem to be holding up well but i've only had them for a month in which they've been used daily.

Excellent fit and sound for running.
I purchased 2 pairs of these headphones 6 months ago. The sound quality and fit is excellent. I do have one complaint, however. For some reason, the right channel (the one without the cord connected to it) on both sets has faded and I cannot get it back to the same volume level. I am going to replace them with the same brand because they are so good in every other way.

    Awesome
I highly recommend these headphones the sound quality is fantastic. I use mine together with my Nomad Zen Jukebox and it roxors my boxors.
They are very comfortable and fit snuggle into your ears without the danger of falling out. They are extremely light but pack a huge punch. I had to turn my player down several degrees because otherwise I was in danger of getting an inner ear haemorrage.
I listen to alot of dance music with plenty of pounding base, the aiwa headphones dont even get phased, no distortion and perfectly clear.

    Excellent Sound Quality
I have had these babies about a week now and I have to say that I am very impressed! They were very uncomfortable at first until I realized that you have to push the neck band all the way up. Once I did that, I can barely tell that they are on my head.

Now for the sound. I was so impressed with the sound reproduction. I have tried other brands/models of headphones and compared to the sony & philips earbuds, these are amazing! The most noticable difference is in the bass. Usually the bass in headphones is non-existant, but not here, these things have nice rich bass; so mush that I had to turn down the bass knob!

I also tried these things out at the gym and they are great. They stay firmly on the head while running/cycling/climbing/etc. the only complaint is that they get pushed around a little when you go to do benchpress or something that requires laying your head on something.

Another great feature about these things is the fact that the Wire only goes on 1 side. This is really healpful when at the gym, less wires to get in your way!

I can also recommend for some people (like my Wife) that it might be more comfortable when they are turned upside down and then placed in the ears :-)

I was really reluctant to spend [the money] on a pair of headphones but I am really glad I did. I give them 5 stars

Close, but for this price, no cigar
These are great headphones, and extremely comfortable. But to add real life into your music, especially out of the confines of the clasical genre, grab a pair of Sennheiser HD-600's...The sound those headphones create is near perfection. They are often used as a reference for recording engineers, and audiophiles. The extra [price] is very much worth it. ...these headphones are great for classical music, but if you are primarily a rock listner you might want to check out the Grado SR-325's. I would also recommend going and auditioning this type of headphone before you buy.

Best high end headphones for portables...
I love listening to music on headphones to either relax at night or while I'm in the middle of household busy work: projects, cleaning, bills...etc. Unfortunately, this means I do most of my at home music listening through a portable cd player. After having lived with a outstanding pair of Definitive Technology floor speakers paired with a very nice Yamaha tuner and Phillips dual-well cd player for two years the output from most portable player set ups wasn't even close to being on the same level. After a large amount of research I decided I wanted to upgrade to a set of high end headphones to maximize the portable cd player experience. The HD-590's sound fantastic, easily on par with the 600's and with a lower impedence, they perform great on portable players without the need for a cumbersome headphone amp. They are extremely comfortable, lightweight and sound fantastic. Pair them with the iRiver IMP-550 cd/mp3 player as I have, and you will have the best sounding portable cd set up available.

    Great Product!
This portable mini-disc player is an excellent all around player. I already own a recorder so I currently use this one to carry around with me. It's very small and thin, and and comes with a very good remote with a backlight. The sound quality is great and the volume goes as high as anyone would need.

For what is, There's nothing better !
I had the Sony MZ-E33. And I must say this Awia kicks it butt ! First, it has 40 sec EAS shock memory, Backlit Lcd Remote, Rechargable battery w/ 8hr playback, Charger,Smallest w/ the exception of sony's mz 55 (399-) and I bought it for 129- @ The Wiz. Great Deal. It also has an additional battery pack for AC Adaptor and disposable battery, while combined w/ supplied rechargable yields 21 hr playback. This unit doesn't skip and plays titles by random, repeat, program, modes. I am very happy w/ it.

    Best Player By Far !
I have owned - the MZ-e33 and it is terrible. It broke 3 x's and skipped like a maniac. After several tests, while running, I couldn't get the MZ-e33 to not skip. I used bubble wrap, fastend it on my arm, held in my hand, and still this low quality player continued to skip. So, loving the format, I decided to buy the Awia HX30. 30- cheaper, 20% smaller, rechargeable battery, lcd display, 40 sec shock memory, higher quality metal, sturdier mechanism, and, bu the way, twice the sound quality. Only negative is, I don't like the swoop head phones and you have to take the battery out to charge.

      Great little radio!
I was searching for a radio that was more sensitive than the previous radios I had been using, not only on the FM band, but also on the AM band.
The FM band receives like my car stereo does. It picks up about every station I would want to listen to and a few others I couldn't pick up from within my house. The AM band is sensitive, but being that I live in a rural area, I suspect it will be even better when I travel with it. The TV band also picks up very clear.
The radio has simple controls and is designed to be easy to use. The backlight comes in handy if you like to listen in bed.
The retracable ear phones are adequate and help reception on AM stations.
All in all, this was a great buy I would recommend to anyone.

The holy grail of pocket radios!
Wow! This is what I have been looking for! A pocket radio with the following features: good reception, digital tuning, light, alarm, clock, presets, good speaker sound, fits in my pocket, has built in earbuds (that retract with a push of a button!), stereo FM when you use the earbuds (or your own headphones), lock switch, TV audio, built in telescoping antenna, auto turn off after 90 minutes (which you can easily cancel). This is a great radio, the best pocket radio with a built in speaker that I have seen. Sangean usually has terrible reception and their radios usually have a lot of noise between stations but this one receives and selects as well as my Sony! Definitely get this if you want apocket radio with a speaker!

      I Take It Everywhere
Since receiving my Sangean220V radio, I hate going anywhere without it, even into the next room! I love knowing I can flip it on to keep me company whenever I get bored or things too quiet. I don't want to damage the earbuds, so I leave them retracted and use a separate headset when I'm not using the speaker. Reception is great on this little dude, and I got an AC Adapter at Radio Shack so the radio can keep me company by playing all night. I spent some time with the manual, and as a result am able to pretty much do the controls in the dark! It does have a display light, a clock and an alarm, but I don't really use those. I just love having a little radio I can tune easily using the digital tuning, and listen to without having to plug up my ears. It's small and easy to take along. I love it, and want a spare!
