These headhones are outstanding where others fail. Sound is crisp and clear at any level.I haven't noticed any distortion or breakup in sound while playing music or games and the 3D simulation is great for games as well as movies.Comfortability is also important and these are. For the money this product well worth it.

Great sound on this lightweight headphone set. Just make sure the infrared sensor is in line of sight. No need to worry about brain tumors.

This headset is the best "Deep Bass" at this price level. Very fragile. At this price who cares. I buy several pairs at a time.

It does the job, after all....what more can you expect?

I bought these headphones on a whim just before Christmas 1999, and have used them up until about three days ago (July 14th, '04), when the clip holding the left cup finally broke. I'm quite sad to see them go. The sound quality is excellent. (Some headsets can play lower frequencies, but they're outside the range of human hearing and cut out of compressed music anyway.) While they're not noise-cancelling, they do a reasonable job of keeping my music in and background noise out, except on a noisy school bus. The 9' cord is long enough to attach to an iPod or Discman in the middle of a bedroom floor while doing whatever, wherever in the room; or sitting back and watching movies at the computer. Overall, the set is well-padded, though like any headphones they can start to get uncomfortable after a couple hours. One small problem I had was that the plasticky stuff on the pad on the left cup started tearing off a couple years ago, but that didn't make them any less comfortable. Overall it's a great set of headphones. If I had the money, I'd definitely be replacing this pair with another before they go out of stock.

I have had these headphones for about four months now and have never had any trouble with them. They were a little uncomfortable for the first couple days but ever since they have felt really comfortable now that I am accustomed to them. I wear them for about 5 hours every day, sometimes more. Sometimes I crank my volume really high when I'm listening to music and the headphones still deliver really clear, loud sound. But what I like best is that they do an excellent job of muffling outside sound and keeping the sound in. I can play my music or games with the volume quite loud and my roommate, four feet away, can't hear even the slightest noise escaping from the headphones.

I had been looking for a headset with a long cord. This one worked out perfectly, and the volume control right on the headset made it so much more convenient.

I was at the Newegg 2k4 lanparty in Southern California .. they had dedicated systems with the Logitech Extreme for use during the Battlefield 1942 and Call of Duty competitions.. the noise cancelling, ratchet boom mic, sound quality and fit of the headset kicked azz! A lil to get used to on the wrap around but a great additon to any lan bag.

These ear buds sound great!! And they last a long time too. I have tried many brands of ear buds, and this Philips/Magnavox HE215 has by far the best sound out of all of them. Sound comes out clear and crisp, and the bass support is very good. Plus it has flexible reinforcement around the plug and ear bud areas so the connection doesn't break as easily,which is the main problem I have with most ear buds (one side stops working, etc.). I'm using them right now and it's a huge difference in sound compared to my last pair. Great product, better than most brands, as well as cheaper. Who can go wrong with that?
