Multiple uses for this item
After I got rid of my Nomad player, which fit perfectly in this case, I found it also fit my Panasonic AM/FM radio I take running.

What is missing however, is lack of a hard clip. There is a soft loop, but it doesn't hook to running shorts.

It fits.
What can I say? Everything fits. I've a Nomad IIc (identical in size/shape to the Nomad II) and everything fits. I can stuff my Nomad II, foldable Sony MDR-A34L in-the-ear's, battery, and smartmedia cards into it. With the headphones in, it bulges, and is not a pretty sight. Without, it looks pretty cool. You'll probably get a slimmer case by springing for high quality earbuds, but I am a jogger so those are not practical. I had envisioned I would be able to fit a pair of MDR-A30 Sports in-the-ear headphones in along with my MDR-A34L's, but this was not the case. The material is soft to the touch, not like I was expecting, but should function as a good shock absorber. The logo juts out and mine was a little dirty, but it's definitely very sleek. Inside, the left part houses a pocket and a zipper that unzips near the spine of the case. I fit my belt clip and batteries in there, as well as my smartmedia cards. I put the headphones in the pocket. On the right is webbing to hold your MP3 player, another pocket, this time encompassing the whole case, underneath the webbing. On the outside there is a belt strap (without a strap - you'll have to take off your belt and loop it through the strap). Overall, might have been cheaper, but it's added insurance for your pricey investment. Good product.

good product
this is an perfect product for people who want there mp3 to be safe and those who travel alot. I have the adiovox1000 and after purchasing it, I took a trip and felt i needed something to keep my batteries, earphones, memory card, and mp3 player in the same place, well this does it.

Its a good item plus a very cheap price!

Nice form factor, but lower image quality than expected
This is a great little camera for quick shots but actually had less resolution even on the highest setting than my dinosaur of a 1.3 mp Olympus. Also, movie mode audio track has a lot of digital noise. If you're after a fun all-rounder, however, this is a great camera with a fantastic user interface and design

Amazing and Extremely Small and Durable Camera + MP3 Player
I bought the M20U (about 2 months ago) as a secondary cam, after purchasing the Canon IS S1 (wonderful camera), for a camera to have with me always. Obviously this isn't the "best" taking picture camera out there, but for the compact size, and I stress compact, it's smaller than a credit card super thin, and has a very durable steel body, and a very decent MP3 player, it was perfect for my needs. A camera to have anytime of the day or night (what good is a shot you could take if you have no camera at all). The flash isn't super, but adequate for portrait shots. Also, Casio really adds alot of features as mentioned above to this tiny cam, especially the auto lens cover. The picture quality is good, not great, it would never replace my S1. But if you want a camera to have with you all the time, I would recommend this tiny companion. If it's for your main and only camera, you may want to consider Canon or others. But as a complimentary camera, its perfect. I use the MP3 player everyday while im at work. I love it.. I tried the Pentax S4, ok picture quality also (the fuzzy corner issue there), but more expensive at the time and actually double the size of the M20 (depth wise) plus no MP3 player and macro. I wanted a camera that would fit in any pocket, shirt or pants and wouldn't notice the weight or bulk of it. Again, I would recommend anyone that can find one, try it out, it's a fun, fast shooting camera. I've got shots I never could have with my S1. I was really amazed how fast this thing can shoot. No AF lag whatsoever, and start up is fast, real fast. Great battery life also. I listen to my MP3 7 hours a day with life to spare. I usually charge it each night though. (...). Great site... Only cons, is, no optical zoom (never use digital zoom), but not a big issue, just move closer if possible to the subject.

Hope this helps someone out...

Stylish with great image quality
This camera is simply fantastic. Not only is it stylish and slim (will fit in your jean pockets with easy) but also takes fantastic pics, with great resolution even at 20x12. My grandfather recently bought a 4MP Olympus and he had to conceed how little difference there is in image quality. Unlike some more expensive cameras it also takes movies with sound and can be used as a dictaphone or sound recorded.

And if this wasn't enough the camera sports a cool MP3 player, allowing you to use the device as a music player with storage capicty limited only by the size of your memory cards.

The build quality and features have also improved since the M2/S2. Battery life is greater and the interface and controls are allot better.

A better option than the Act400
Smaller and less noisy than the Act400. I managed to trade my Act400 for this for the weekend to try out, and found it much better for sporting activity.

Great - but a few setbacks
B"H

ok - listen up - this piece it great - it is really small and the sound is perfect it also has amazing antiskip.

pros:
small size
anti skip

id3 tag
case

cons: (this is the setbacks)
battery life STINKS!!!!!!!
the LCD is not backlit
remote doesn't have id3 tag
the price

basically this is a great piece - if you care about the size.

i suggest you get the gamecube CD carrying case - it is a perfect match.

Best sound quality/durability of any portable I've owned
The Nike Sport ACT300 is built by Philips for Nike. I've found this a pretty tough and excellent sounding portable. So tough I brought it to Iraq with me and used it throughout my year-long stay there.

Drawbacks? There are a few. The battery life is terrible and the lack of AM/FM is something that I wish would be remedied. The absolute worst drawback is the difficulty in placing and extracting the AA batteries. Terrible, especially considering the thought put into the rest of the design.

On the positive side sound quality is excellent for a portable cd player, the anti-skip works well and it gives the user several options such as repeat and shuffle. The Nike's build quality is also of a much higher standard then even most "sports walkman" players.

I highly recommend the Nike ATC300.

Don't buy this radio for Sirius Satellite Service...
I've liked using this radio so far, and have used it with Sirius successfully, but I would advise those looking for a new radio and want it to work sith Sirius Satellite service to look at Kenwood, Audiovox or another brand that offers Sirius ready units. I've tried to put back this unit in a new car I just purchased that replaced one that had been stolen (and had replaced this head unit as well), and found that the process of finding a receiver to work with this head unit is near impossible. The CR-SRT100 receiver that is necessary for Sirius service with this unit has been discontinued by Panasonic and is only available at places like Ebay. Also, some of the newer satellite radio antennas like the TERK SIR3 are geared to work with a single input receiver rather than the dual input receiver that the CR-SRT100 is. The splitter necessary to connect these antennas to this hard to find receiver is equally hard to find as well. You will spend a lot of time trying to find these parts if you try goind down the route I did. This isn't a radio that you can just take to Circuit City and have them "install Sirius" one afternoon and be done with it. It won't be as simple as that.

I called Panasonic about this, and they just told me that the newer 2004 models of Panasonic head unit models are no longer Sirius ready, so don't count on much future support from Panasonic, even though there don't seem to be any public announcements about this. If you want Sirius Satellite Radio, get another brand like Kenwood or Audiovox instead.

Panasonic and Sirius the best choice!
The sound quality is incredible, now I can listen to commercial free radio and the genders that I want, choosing between 100 channels! Amazing

    Best Radio Ever
This is the best product I have bought in a long time. I now can get over 100 radio channels anywhere, anytime. It is great.

      Excellent player for the money
I seriously wonder if the person that wrote the other review in this area had the (E)xtended (S)kip (P)rotection (ESP) turned on when he tried this player. I stood in one spot and did jumping jacks, while playing a 128 kbps mp3 cd, for 117 seconds before it skipped. It was comparable (about 25 seconds) with a regular CD. I loved the rich bass and sound quality. A few things to consider are, 1. Buy a higher quality pair of headphones, you won't regret it. 2. Use 'better quality' cds when you burn your music and use the highest bit rate encode that will allow you to fit the amount of music you want on the cd. 3. High capacity nimh batteries (2400 mah) will give you longer play times and can be recharged hundreds of times. Remember! The antenna for the radio is the headphone wire so your position affects reception greatly.
Overall I rate this player as excellent for the price. ENJOY!

A good buy for the money
If your looking for a High quality cd player, you do not want to buy this. But if your looking for one of the cheapest CD-MP3-RADIO, on the market then this is for you. I have used this cd player for 2 years because i am too cheap to shell out [money amount]+ to get a decent MP3 player. THe unit plays MP3s in a easy simple way, simply burn a data cd with the MP3s on it or in 1 level of folders. IT does not support more than one level of folders. This is not a especially high quality cd player, and it did mess up after 6 months, but if your looking for a transition before going completly Mp3 this may be a option for you. The only real problem is that the anti shock is terrible. Its ok in a car, or in a plane, but if you try and simply walk with this cd player, [or god forbib you jog]it will skip almost everytime. It says 120 seconds in Mp3 mode, which is complete BS. You might get 30 if you crawling, with it but if you start to walk, you will probably prefer the radio. So if you want a cheap MP3-CD-RADIO, go with this, but if you want a cd player that doesnot skip i suggest speding more $$ and getting a SONY.

      Nice Flip Case, problems though
I just got it and wasted no time slipping my 40gb ipod in for a try. It fits quite snugly and looks as you'd expect, there's a little opening near the bottom on either side so you can slip your fingers underneath and press the ipod back up and out. The flap has sleeves on the inside and a little pocket on the outside for earbuds. Overall, I like it. However, as I'm partial to the ipod dock and never having to touch cables, I find myself unsure whether I picked the right case. There's a hole to allow the dock connector cables to reach the port, but the case is too fat to slide into the dock, naking you choose between discarding the dock or using a different case. I'll try it out, but I think this configuration will eventually lead me to purchasing a belkin or speck case...

      Great case
I'm 100% satisfied with this case. I wanted something that would really protect my ipod yet at the same time be very accessible. This works perfectly. It's not too big and the front pouch is roomy enough for the earphones.

      Nothing to write home about
this product offers poor quality sound

      Beyond Cool
The fact that this transmitter allowed me to choose from more than four channels was what caught my attention. Living and working in the NYC metropolitan area, I knew that there are very few, if any, channels that would be clear enough to use a transmitter successfully, so a transmitter that gave me a wide spectrum of channels to choose from was in order.

This thing works! I use it on a channel on which I get a faint to medium signal and it completely overrides that signal. It's easy to use. It's incredibly sexy - not clunky or awkward looking at all (it completely fits the profile of the mini). It gets attention from everyone because it's just so cool.

This was OK before Rio Volt came out
I bought my IJ-828 almost a year ago and swapped it two weeks ago for Rio Volt. The I-Jam product served me well, but it is pretty much outdated by today's standards.

It is built on the dreaded Genica platform (although I must admit the only quality problem with my player was that it did not charge NiCds, althought the instuction said it would). Genica means:

      - playback quality which is ok, but inferior to Rio Volt

      - it can't play MP3 files with the bitrate above 192 kbps

      - it doesn't support ID tags and has only a 1-line numerical display

      - it doesn't have a remote control

      - cumbersome directory navigation and no RESUME function

      - SHORT battery life for MP3 playback (4 hours)

      - cheap looks and chroming on buttons which is wiped off in two months

The positives of owning it are:

      - PRICE (this thing is cheap, but it does what it is supposed to do)

      - decent MP3 antishock (it spins the disk continuously, and 40 sec buffer is more than enough) -- pls note that the player either doesn't have or has very short CD antishock

      - stylish headphones (I wouldn't say the quality is superb, but the looks are cool)

      - 8-min voice recording (theoretically it is a plus, but for me a useless feature - never used it)

Overall rec: if you can afford getting yourself a Rio Volt, wait before Amazon has it back in stock. Do not get stuck with a previous-generation product, which IJ-828 is.

      I-Jam IJ-828 MP3 and CD System
I can't express how much I love this product. The combination of mp3 and CD systems in one revolutionized the way I looked portable music. I fully endorse and recomend it.

Great looks, but great shame about the MP3 player facility
Panasonic would have you believe that the SVAS-10 plays MP3, WMA and AAC music files, but after buying one of the units I was dismayed to find it doesn't. To copy music onto the SVAS-10 you can ONLY use the SD Jukebox software (supplied with the unit) The software encrypts your music before sending it to the unit, making it a very slow process. Even worse, you can never again rename, copy, move or edit music files on your computer, as the player will refuse to play them again. Worse still, if you encounter a problem that requires you to reload Windows on your computer, you can't listen you your music files on the player again - instead you have to delete all the files, and copy them from their origional CD's again. So if for example you have coppied your old records and cassettes onto your computer, and then thrown the originals away, you will only be able to listen to them on that computer - if you later buy a new computer, and copy your files accross to it, you cant listen to your music on the SVAS-10.

All the other features on the unit are fine, and the device does look great - but if you want to listen to music, dont bother with the SVAS-10

      great value except mp3 player
it's a good deal especially for the beginner.
but dont put too much expectation on it. it's so tough to use the jukebox software to transfer data. i cant figure it out until now.
pls help me up email me at jeffsun1008@hotmail.com

      Buy two of them !
You will surely need one as a gift.
It's a very, very nice camera... it is my first Digital CamCoder, and I'm trully satisfied. Panasonic has made an outstanding job with this.
Small, fancy, good resoluntion, lots of accessories. Just enough for me... I have to say that is a camera for traveling (not for a proffessional), also usable as MP3 player... really cool if you dont need more than 2MP.
      Amazing.

A little pricy but your only option. It is kond of deciving it only holds about 27 minutes in MP3 format, yet the advertise it as 1HR in WMA(Windows Media Format). I haven't figured how to convert to WMA, but the program it comes with doesn't do it.

the price is way to high
ok first off this is a great product it is great if you think that about an hour of memory isnt enough (like i do...

An essential add-on for your Rio 600
Too much is never enough. That's the rule for memory in computers, PDAs, and now MP3 players. I love my Rio Diamond 600, but its built-in 32mb of memory is too anemic to suit my daily commuting needs. That's why I had to get the 32mb backpack that doubled the memory of my 600. It slides easily and quickly onto the back of your 600 (or 800) and includes a rechargeable battery and power cord that helps you save AAs. Installation is smoothly and easily supported on my iMac.

A small complaint: the backpack ships with virtually no instructions except a sticker on the bag the backpack came in, with essential info on how to upgrade the firmware of your player. Don't throw away that bag, pay close attention and follow these instructions. I hate the recent trend of no instruction manual included with computer hardware, but this is a ridiculous extreme.

Don't let that scare you, however: this add-on is pricey but absolutely essential for expanding the memory of your 600/800. I'm hoping that the market for Rio MP3 players is strong enough that they eventually release the long-promised *320*mb backpack.
