One of the best at a great price!Yes,it may look simular to the Memorex model with it's buttons in a circle and simular playback but it much better.
I've had this player for almost 4 weeks, and in that time it's been a wonderfull experiance.I love the idea that I can carry all of my favorite cd's from my huge collection on one little disc!
It's VSF is better then most cd players with MP3 playback. At 120 sec,it's virtual skip proof like it says!
When playing a regular cd it plays faster then with a mp3cd.The only thing that I dislike is that you have to have alot of batteries on hand because it eats them like candy!
And just like the Memorex,it takes awhile for the mp3 chip to reconize disc.If you wanna make your friends jealous, this is the player to do it.My friends couldn't believe MTV made a cd player.I am very happy with this player,it has played very well.
To anyone reading this and thinking of buying one....JUST DO IT you'll love it.

A great mp3 playerThe box has quite complete description of product's feature yet it is very informative.
I was so surprised that it was so easy to download songs from my mp3 collection in my PC to my nex II. It is as easy as 1,2,3. Since it shows as removable device, all I have to do is drag songs I want to download from local disc to the device in windows explorer environment, no hassle for downloading any software to my computer. Isn't it great..????
The sound quality is great, I never expected mp3 file can be heard so good. There are 5 options to choose sound mode that makes it perfect to be used for playing different kind of music. It also has user option so I can set the equalizer for the sound that I really want. I like the sound that is more bass and little midrange, and unbelievable it works !!! it's like hear from the real CD player.
The last thing, I like it because it uses compact flash memory so I can use the one from my digital camera. Isn't it fantastic ? one compact flash for 2 kind of electronic devices??
and beside price of compact flash has been down lately.

Great little CD player !The power output for the headphones included with it, is clear and more than adecuate; for everyday music, I listen at 15 (minimun 0, max 25) and I don't have any problems, however for quiet classical music (Tchaikovsky)it needs to be set at 23-25.
If you plan to use it in a very noisy enviroment, get some different headphones (closed type) and a headphone's amplifier.
It is not heavy to carry around, but it does not have a belt clip.
The EQ works, but does not provide much difference, however there is some.
Now for the MP3's, it is a little confusing at the begining, the way the folders are set up, but it is not a huge problem, however when you burn your CD's, if you have it, use software with volume normalizer and set it as loud as you can without distortion, and you will enjoy your music.
Battery life, I don't know, as I use it only 3 or 4 hours a day, and I really don't keep track.
One last word, IT IS made of plastic and kind of fragile, if you are going to put it in your backpack under several books, it might no be the player for you.

Couldn't be more pleased......
I go there only to find they didn't have any, so I decided I'd get this one instead, which surprisingly, (at least not at the time of this review), wasn't listed on their web site, So before I left I bought along my Sony Walkman with a few tapes I love listening to so that I could test this thing out when I got it.
As the instructions say, insert the RadioPlay in to your cigarette lighter, connect the mini headphone jack in to your portable device, select the FM station you want the sound to come through, select the same FM channel on your RadioPlay and your good to go. Living here in Maine, USA there are no stations on 88.1, (I checked before I bought this and you should too).
There is an 88.3 which is clear as a bell but there is nothing coming in on 88.1, so I chose this as my default station, (I didn't test the others). Turning the sound all the way up on my Walkman I was able to hear it coming through the speakers, and boy is it cool! Using my CD player I was able to adjust the bass, treble and volume accordingly to get the best sound, and it's very good.
Some people complain you hear static noise coming from the speakers, while this is true, (it doesn't block this), it plays over the top of it and unless your playing a ballad or listening to speech, this won't be a problem, the static noise was quiet anyway, so for me it wasn't a big deal.
The sound highly depends on your car stereo setup, the clarity of the recording and I'm sure your audio device would have something to do with it. I do have an MP3 player but I didn't test this, I would probably say that if your MP3s are at 320Kbps, 44Kz Stereo, you could probably get it sounding at 128Kbps with a little less clarity. If you could get CD sound or close to it, you'll just hear a bit of static in the background, (particially with songs that don't have many instruments or as I said ealier, ballads / speech).
On the packaging, it doesn't state what the range is, so I'm not sure if for example, the person driving behind you could pick it up, they might be able to, but it probably wouldn't be all that clear, no big deal. Overall, this thing rocks, I can't wait to test this out with some other tapes and my MP3 player, absolutely well worth it!
