Great for in wall ambient music
I use these speakers for ambient room music. I have a open floorplan house and put these speakers in the wall high enough to be somewhat omnidirectional. I like the round look in the wall better than the square versions. When shopping for speakers, I looked at all brands. A piece of advice on a expert distributor website was not to spend too much on in wall speakers as they are not working in an engineered speaker box, which is critical to speaker performance. In other words, more money doesn't buy you much. For ambient music, these speakers are great. They have excellent fidelity and while you can't pound out the bass, the rest of the music duplication is really good. The tweeter is very lively on this speaker, which surprised me. The size is around 8" outside diameter, so the IC8S speakers would have been huge. They were a snap to install as I had a good wall chase for running the wire. I'm very happy with this product.

impressive in-walls
I bought 2 sets of these in-walls from cambridge for my specialty store (one set for each room). The quality of the sound is very good, and installation was very simple. The paintable finish made them fade into the decor, too. All my customers notice is the great sound. I've bought other products from Cambridge and have always been very happy.

great for rear speakers in 5.1 system
I DID NOT BUY THESE FROM AMAZON BUT I GOT THEM FOR THE SAME PRICE. I USE THEM FOR MY REAR SPAEKERS IN A 5.1 SYSTEM.
THEY ARE BEING PUSHED BY A LOW END SONY HEAD UNIT AND THEY SOUND GREAT. I HAD A SET OF BOSE BOOKSELFS AS REARS PRIOR TO THE JBLS. THESE BLOW THEM AWAY. THE INSTALL IN THE WALL WAS A JOKE THEY USE A GREAT CLIP SYSTEM THAT IS DUMMY PROOF, JUST USE THE TEMPLETE SUPPLIED AND SNAKE YOUR WIRE IN THE WALL AND AWAY YOU GO. LOOK GREAT IN THE WALL NICE AND FLUSH AND OUT OF THE WAY.
I WILL BE BUYING MORE FOR THE DINING ROOM AND KITCHEN FOR REGULAR AUDIO.

    Great speakers for the price
Ok, let's not get caried away... These are not exceptional speakers. They're not even great speakers. Furthermore, I wouldn't even think of using them in a surround sound system. On the other hand, they are a tremendous value for speakers with good enough sound quality for a whole house system. They are also very easy to install, as they clamp onto the drywall, and no recessed enclosure is needed. I have purchased 6 pair, and now my entire home is awash in glorious ambient music. If this is what your after, you cannot find a better value. However, if you're looking for good surround speakers, you'll find better sound if you loosen up the wallet a bit. later.

    Good For the Price
These speakers are nothing exceptional, but for the price they cannot be beat. I have heard many cheap speakers in my life, but most either have a very tiny treble or just weak sound overall. I would say that these speakers have a fairly round and warm overall sound as well as a good solid range. As a musician, I like to think that my ears are a little bit more fine-tuned than the average American, and for 60 dollars, these speakers are great for my ears.

    What a nice surprise!
I was skeptical about these speakers but I have listened to so many in the past couple of months in stores I couldn't decide. After reviewing and comparing the specs and prices I decided to give these a try. I mounted them in the celing as my front pair angeled the tweeters and WOW! What a great sounding pair of speakers and the price is about $150 less than I was going to spend. I am very happy and they are so easy to install in your ceiling. It is a well worth saving the money and getting these two. You could spend alot more money and get the same quality of sound.

Light and cheap but it does the job.
I bought this projector largely on the basis of cost (about $NZ1000 cheaper than anything equivalent)and am generally pleased with it. The lightness of construction is a bit of a worry: I am used to Sanyo projectors with magnesium alloy bodies but this has a plastic case and parts such as the plastic height adjustment leg don't look too robust to me. The remote control is tiny, and provides minimal functionality. My old Thinkpad, used for running the machine, lacks a USB port, so I can't work the computer mouse through the projector remote, but the remote is so tiny and fiddly I wouldn't want to anyway. But although at first sight it all looks a little flimsy, closer examination shows it is well put together and so far, it seems quite hardy enough. It is certainly very light. There is a basic but useable soft case.

Set up is easy and the documentation is excellent. Focus and zoom are only manual but in practice this doesn't matter and in fact I find it faster and easier than electronic control. There is limited connectivity: enough for one PC and 1 video but that is all I (and I think 95% of users )need and I won't be rushing out to buy the optional enhanced connectivity module.

The image quality is very acceptable. For powerpoint presentations the image is clear and bright, and can be used in a very well lit room. Text in 20 point Georgia(gold on blue) could be read from more than 50 feet away. Although it is only SVGA I have projected Word and Excel documents quite readably to small audiences. Video is adequate. The video image lacks some of the colour depth and contrast of other projectors, even ones with a lower ANSI-Lumen rating but it is smooth and quite sharp.

Overall, a very adequate, easy to use, basic projector that does the job and at the price, is very good value for money.

A lot of value for the money.
Our office needed a second InFocus machine and I lobbied for this unit. We currently use an LP280 but that was purchased for road use-which is why we need a second unit, the other's always out of the office.

I wanted this unit as this is the only product I have found in this price range that uses DCDi by Faroudja. Considering this technology used "to cost alot of money" this is an incredible bargain. Basically, it smoothes the jiggles of still AND moving images. We do a lot of process control work and use a lot of animation. This solves a common problem in many LCD and DLP projectors, and seems to make non-native resolution use much better (the LP500 is SVGA native resolution). It appears this model was a carryover from Boxlight before they were bought out by InFocus, and used an exclusive contract with Faroudja, who has also been bought out twice, but the model retains this critical technology that still leads the industry. The "money" more we spent on this vs. the LP280 was worth it for this feature alone.

This unit has a dual voltage/lumen feature that increases bulb life and reduces heat. (A big plus as changing bulbs on these puppies is a royal-and time consuming-pain.) This lower setting also increases contrast for blacks, which is helpful for theater use.

The unit comes with GOOD MANUALS! A lot of the time you have to sort of read the manual and intuit what the heck they are trying to say. That's not the case here. The manuals are clear, concise and complete!

This is a far superior unit stylistically-very modern and attractive, unlike the LP280 which, though a modern device, nevertheless always seems to project a 1950's feel sitting there in the middle of a meeting.

On the downside, the input are basic but adequate. The remote is just OK-it's small and clumsy to use in dark room situations, but once you get acclimated to it it's passable. The bulb's difficult to replace and-as usual with these things-relatively expensive. However, the aforementioned dual voltage/lumen feature should reduce the frequency changes overall.

I can't attest to this unit's traveling characteristics since it hasn't moved from the center of our conference table since it was unpacked. However, the case and accessories seems sturdy and well designed. Our LP280 does well and I'd imagine this one would as well.

The accessory package is fairly complete. There are some adaptors for more varied inputs available as well as other accessories, but we see no real need for them. My experience has been these things cost more than the value they add.

An excellent unit, especially if your presentation requirement border on "theatre" type conditions. A lot of value for the money with this puppy!

    Not such a great deal
I purchased a pair of IW6S speakers 3 months ago so I could listen to music in my kitchen and living room. They seemed like a good deal and I was not looking for great sound from them, just decent background music. Unfortunately, I am disappointed by their total lack of bass and poor sound quality. I was not expecting booming bass but a 6 1/2 inch speaker should produce at least a minimal amount of bass. If I had to do it over again, I would spend a little more money and get a much better speaker

    Better Bass
One very good thingthe listener who was dissappointed in the bass response could do is ensure there is an acousitcal enclosure on the back side. If the back of the speaker vents into a large space, such as an attic, a lot of bass will be lost there. I use fiberglass and boxes to create a little chamber, works well, once you get the hang of it.

    AudioSource Rocks
For the price they are unbeatable, They are great for rear speakers for surround systems. I will put them againts speakers costing 3x as much. These are being used with (Polk Audio) 2000 Towers & Center 400csi. (And AudioSource holding their own). Good work AudioSource

IF YOU CARE ABOUT TWEETER SOUND DO NOT BUY THESE
got it installed rather easily but the sound was empty in the higher frequencies VERY TINNEY. if you don't care about the quality then get them. these are very poorly made speakers. it is not a good deal

    Great sound and easy install
...Surprisingly great sound. First Audiosource purchase, not the last. Very easy to install, make sure you read the instructions. System used on: Harman Kardon 520 Receiver, JBL center, front and subwoofer with optical output, very large media room. These speakers sound awesome with 5.1 and DTS, DTS moreso. Tested with "Matrix" (bullets feel like they whizz by), "Saving Private Ryan", "Gladiator", "Attack of the Clones", "Blade 2" and a few more. Really nice. Had to lower JBL's channel and increase these, since JBL's would overpower surround speakers. Great for the price.

    Great Value
I bought these speakers for the ceiling in a remodeled basement. The hole you have to cut in not tough to do but as another reviewer stated, make sure you know where your studs are in the wall/ceiling - you don't want to cut a hole in your sheetrock to find out the speaker won't fit because you hit a stud. Sound quality is amazing for the price and is very easy to hook up. Highly recommended.

    Breaks in under a year
Worked fine for me for first 9 months, then broke down. Had similar experience with Nokia headset - not built to last.

    Not so necessary
Theres really no reason to purchase this rapid charger, its only slightly smaller than the one that comes with the phone, and it only charges slightly faster, the only reason i bought it was because i lost my previous charger, save your money buy something else

    As practical as the phone
Comes in two parts: the wire and the base that has the plug. It takes 30 seconds or less to attach the two pieces and you're ready to charge. My Nokia 8260 fully charged in a little over two hours. I keep the one I got with my Nokia 8260 at home and this second one stays at the office. You won't be disappointed.
