I love my new CSW Center Channel plus. I purchased it to complete my nw surround sound system. Great sound. It also looks good on top of my televison and didn't cost a fortune. It is a quality speaker at a great price.

I had bought a some home theater speakers last year, but for some reason, the sales person never mentioned I'd need a center channel speaker. So when I watched movies, the booms and bangs came across great, but I lost what the actors were saying. It was really muddled. A friend recommended a center channel to solve that problem - and after researching the various brands, I chose this one. Cambridge Soundworks are speaker specialists. I use their computer speakers, and wouldn't part with them. So when I found this one, which was slim, and sounded great, I ordered it. It has really made my movie watching much better.

I purchased this Portable speaker system after my last hotel stay. I have a portable MP3 jukebox (Creative Nomad) and brought along my old cheap computer speakers. Now my wife and I are music lovers and I tend to have Champaign ears. I just couldn't take that crappy, shallow, tinny no base sound anymore!! Now I have been eyeing The Model 12's for a couple of years (Now called the Mick Fleetwood signature edition) now if Mick is endorsing them you know they have to be great!! And let me tell you they are Amazing sounding! Great base and just a full deep sound, I am blown away with the sound this portable set up throws out there. Now let me just say it is a bit hefty in weight. This is not a cheaply made set up!! The case is heavy duty so it can take a beating and the satellites are a bit heavy (typical great quality construction from Cambridge soundworks) The amp is nice with separate bass, treble and balance controls and 4 selectable options for sound input (CD Aux1, Aux2 and tape)This system can be used with any rca type connection. I highly recommend this portable system if you want great sound on the road (or at home for that matter)

I travel 1000s of miles each year, and would not go anywhere without this system. It is a bit heavy- but that's because its a true industrial strength on the road system. When I fly, it checks easily, and can get bounced around. The hard case shows some wear, but the sound is still perfect. Plugs into portable CD or MP3 jukebox. I've also used it for work events to play music for a room of 300 people. I have a few friends who are in the music and recording business, and they travel with this system. It's also the preferred road system for the concert road crews - and believe me, they know what stands up.

The Newton M50's from Cambridge SoundWorks are top-notch speakers. I was forced to go out and buy new booklshelf speakers when my old and much out of date pair had decided to retire. I bought these, really more for the look and the fact that they were suttle and would hide fairly well in a room. Well, I have been more than pleased with the execptional sound these speakers release. I love them. Such great sound from such a small speaker... and yes, they do hide well in a room

I purchased these speakers a few months ago, and each time I listen to them I'm amazed by the quality. Believe me, size does not matter when it comes to these speakers. I was skeptical that I could get great sound out of little speakers like these, but they won me over. I have other bookshelf speakers that I paid a lot for, and they don't hold a candle to the Cambridge Soundworks M50s.

I'm not one for big black bulky speakers so that's what led me to buy the M60s. When I got them I was very impressed with their design - and the fact that they blend so well with my room. But what suprised me even more was the way they sounded. Absolutely terrific.

I love my M60 speakers. I really thought you had to get really big speakers to get this sort of great sound. And I love how the mahogany finish looks in my living room. It looks like these speakers belong there.

i just bought a pair of these to complete my digital home theater, and they're great! they produce great sound. i even have a lot of power pumping through them and it doesn't phase 'em. if you're looking for some really great surround, or even center or front, speakers and you don't want to spend that much cash, get these. you don't have to buy expensive bose speakers to have a great home theater. these are well worth the money.

These are phenomenal speakers. Maybe the best I've heard. Impressive by itself, but I'm blown away by how they sound when you have 3 play in unison. This audiophile will definitely consider more Cambridge Soundworks product.

Most subwoofers I've heard just thud along. The Cambridge P500 is really musical, with a clarity I normally don't hear from a woofer. It's small. It looks very cool. And I love the remote control. I don't have to crawl around on all fours to change the bass level. I prefer it to several [more expensive] subwoofers I listened to.

I've used powered subwoofers in my audio systems for 10 years. Some good, some not so good. The P500 is GREAT. The crossover allows precison adjustment to complement both my speakers and the room. ( I only have a stereo system so I use the P500 for music rather than to watch movies.)The speakers I currently use are much more efficient than most and until I discovered the P500 I was having problems matching them to a subwoofer.

Can not believe I lived for so long before adding surround speakers to my system. I have methodically gone back and watched all of my favorite action flicks on DVD, and even some more sensitive movies, and I am stunned by the difference in experience when you add surround sound speakers. At times, I jump out of my seat because of it.
Also like the look of these speakers. They blend in very well.

These have to be the best-sounding surround speakers I've heard. Three sound dispersion settings, great effects, easy to set up. Great looking too.

I have purchased speakers from Cambridge for over ten years. Each purchase I've made has impressed me. Their products are of the highest quality and their support/warranties are unbeatable.
I installed these speakers on our patio and am amazed at the quality of sound for outdoor speakers for under $300 dollars a pair. Amazing sound, solid construction, ten year warranty, incredible value... everything I look for in an audio product.

I recently bought a pair of these outdoor speakers for my back patio. I love them. And get more questions about where I got them. The sound is the best I have heard from outdoors, and they are really solid. Like the fact that you can swing them and point them once they are mounted too.

Before I bought these, I had the older version of the Cambridge outdoors, and I used them on my boat for years. At one point, they were blasting away, and fell off where I had mounted them, and fell under the hull of my boat. I thought it was gone forever - and kissed it goodbye - but when I saw the wire was still attached, I pulled them up and they came up still playing. From that day forward, I've been a beliver in these speakers, and this company. They are built to last, and survive the elements.

These speakers sound really good for the price range they are in. It has excellent balance and imaging. The power handling on this item is great as well. Inclosure is ported in rear at top so they are efficent and have good bottom end for their size.

I'm not normally a Cerwin-Vega consumer but I had to try these out and they've been a great addition to my home theater.

Living on a limited budget? These are my main front channel speakers for surround system, sounding as well as another name brand shelf set which cost about a thousand dollars more. I'm going to ad another pair for the rear channel's to complete my home theater system. I highly recommend these speakers for anyone seeking "High" quality on a low budget.

I bought these speakers along with a Audigy2 ZS. I installed the card and came across a printing error. My speaker instructions had the wrong instructions on how to hook up the speakers to the sound card. After a little fiddling, i realized the problem. The Speaker instructions had me plugging the chords into the wrong jacks. BE SURE TO LOOK AT YOUR SOUND CARD'S INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CORRECT JACKS. Also MAKE SURE THAT YOUR COMPUTER ISNT SENDING DIGITAL OUTPUT IF IT IS, CHANGE IT FOR THESE SPEAKERS. My comp was set to this and there was nothing at all. Other that that the setup was fairly easy other that the fact that the front-side speakers arent on red/black speaker cable making it hard to get a true 5.1 setup with the 5 foot attached chords. The back speakers are on bare wire connections and make it easy to run different wire (sold separately)to the speakers. Ther are also PLUGS NOT BARE WIRES going to the sub so i had to tape the rear wires onto the provided plug cables. After i ran the cables and fixed all of the problems MY MIND WAS BLOWN AWAY. I havent listened to as good of music quality since my parents 4000 dollar BOSE system. These speakers are monsterous. I have the volume barely on and my 10 foot cube room shakes like crazy. Very good look and easy tweaking is beautiful. Other than the few glitches in the setup, it was a beautiful purchase for 100 bucks!! Just be sure to have a sound card that can handle the 5.1 speakers. My friend loved mine so much that he bought them an d tried to run them on an integrated sound. DIDNT WORK AT ALL.

This is my first sound system for my PC and I'm very happy with it. Being a music student sound is very important to me and so I made sure to hear a lot of systems and frankly most just sucked until you got to the $300-$400 range and I just didn't have that much money to shell out. So giving up on the computer stores I went to cambridge soundworks and I actually bought their Megaworks 210D it was $200. I was extremely disappointed with it, while the 150 watt subwoofer was killer, the two satellite speakers hissed which was annoying. It didn't treat all music styles equally and was easily distorted when playing music without a lot of low end such as movie soundtracks and classical music. The highs were piercing and hard on the ears as well. This was true on all music styles even with the treble turned all the way down. So I returned it the next day and bought the Creative T5400 system after talking with a neighbor who had the 5200. I was extremely pleased after I got it setup. (By the way setting it up is very easy and mounting the speakers on the walls couldn't be easier, its like hanging a picture frame. All you need is a nail and hammer.) While it doesn't have the power or the bass that the cambridge megaworks had, the 5 speakers are clear and comfortable to listen to at high volumes. The subwoofer isn't going to blow the windows out of your house but it does its job nicely and compliments the speakers very well. Mine is setup in my bedroom which is about average size and it delivers a nice balanced sound that fills the room. It's a very nice system at a very good price that does well with music, games, and movies. You definitely won't be disappointed. Whatever you decide get a 5.1 system, there wasn't one 2.1 system out there that I would recomend buying. For the same price or a little more you can get a 5.1 system. I was concerned with space as some of you might be, but don't worry about space you'll figure something out. Like I said these speakers are very easy to mount on your wall. Good luck to you!
