Excellent sound quality, satellite speakers, earphone port, bass/subwoofer-like sound, volume knob.

This item fits perfectly in my college dorm room, where space is very limited. I use the Surround Station with the SB Inspire 5.1 hooked up to a SB Extigy (connected to a laptop). The entire surround sound setup delivers superb sound because the Surround Station places the rear speakers exactly where they need to be: at ear level right behind you. The construction of this device is simple, yet solid and sturdy. The Surround Station isn't for everyone because only one person can enjoy the excellent positioning of the speakers. However, it gets the wires out of the way (no more tripping over rear speaker wires in the dark) and sacrifices very little space.

There are many subwoofers on the market that can enhance an explosion, but very few indeed that also sound pure and musical. This sub makes me feel like I'm in the club with the performers when I'm listening to Jazz. Rock music is live and vital. And movies - wow! The beautiful wood finish doesn't hurt either. This sub rocks.

I have been using this Speaker System from H.H. Scott on my computer for the last 6 months at my office. I have been very impressed with the sound quality and have recommended it to several co-workers. The only problem I have is that I paid $249.99 for it. ... It is one heck of a sound system and one heck of a good buy. I may even buy one for my home next.

I've owned this sub for a few years now and have to say, it's unbelievable! It's versatile, plenty of volume and unmatched, even to the Bose systems! I have a complete Inifinity 5:1 speaker system and this sub I picked out specifically to go with my theater system and have not ever regretted it. I'm actually in the hunt fo a smaller 8" or 10" sub to go with my multimedia system. If you can find one, grab a hold of it, you'll love it!

I paired the TSS 450 with the new Harman/Kardon AVR230 (Which I highly reccommend, even though Amazon is not offering it yet). They provide great (and plentiful) wiring, which is atypical of $400 speakers. They come with adjustable mounting brackets, another plus that most other systems dont have. They are tiny surrounds (think soup can, though wider) and sound very crisp. I've only had them a little while, but they sound perfect listening to Lords of the Rings or playing PS2! The center channel is powerful and super-clear. This is my first surround system, so i'm shocked at how much better I can here voices during movies! The other thing I like is the Center has two-midranges and is positioned horizontally, which makes it fit much better on top of my WEGA :-)

This speaker set is simply awesome and such an improvement over standard TV speakers that you will never listen to your TV speakers again. Has a great base/wall mount system for the satellites. They have a bracket available for the two front and the center channel that sits on top of the TV, was not applicable for my installation. The subwoofer is massive and far superior to the other brands in this relative price range. The subwoofer comes with its own calibration kit, well worth spending the time (about an hour) to perform the calibration procedure. As a suggestion, when installing a set like this, purchase a sound level meter to assist with balancing the speaker levels as it is much more accurate than your ear. Speakers are available in two different color schemes. I originally started looking at the Bose Acoustimass 15, I'm glad I passed it up for the Infinity's.

I got these speakers at a more expensive price. These speakers are very high in quality. I think they're worth more than what you pay for.

these speakers are amazing, unbelievable clarity and power. The subwoofer can be lound enough to shake any room, whilst the clarity is high to even hear a pin drop. Great buy for a good price!!

These are great at what there spost to do. Great highs for movies but has been a little hash on some hard rock guitar stuff but thats only at high(make your ears hurt) volume. the mids is solid just like you would expect from JBL. The 2 10s provive great high base, But don't think they will replace your sub they won't. And there not ment to. There spost to play to about 45hz, and they do perfectly but you will still need a sub for the way down there stuff. Got mine for 399.99 a piece from J&R (amazon) and they ment it no S&H and thats nice on an item this large (and they are big) but thanksfully they are narrow for having 10's in them. They are power hungry though. I got an H/K AVR 7200 and it eats up all the power it puts out and I feel it could EASYLLY eat twice what its sending out. Def get the Center from this series to it blends perfectlly with these floor standers JBL had there thinking cap on with this series can't wait to finish out the system with some E50's or 60's for surounds and prob a volo sub. And as always spend the money on the cables folks no use in $1000 reciver and $1000 speakers with $2 cables in between!!!
