I'm suprised,why don't more companies think of this? Other than this startech speaker,i have not seen another drive bay speaker anywhere.

Again i must say this is a very cool little device.No longer do i have to fumble around clunky speakers with long wires that get tangled.Installation was easy,i just mounted it in a spare CD drive bay,hooked up the power,put in the little backplate and passed the audio jack cable to the back of my pc's audio card.It looks cool in my drive bay as well.

The sound from the little speaker is also supriseingly good and clear as well.I highly recommend this speaker.It was worth every penny.

I have 4 of these rock style speakers in my back yard for the past 3 years. I have had so much enjoyment from the great sound quality and blending them into the landscaping. After 3 years you can hardly even see them, but you can sure hear them. Great for BBQ's, working in the yard or just relaxing. I have had speakers that install under the eves of the house, but I like the sound coming from the garden area toward the house rather than away from it, if that makes sense. Great investment if you enjoy the outdoor area of your house year round.

I have own this unit for a little over 18 months. This sub is very powerfull. The bass is ultra deep and clean. You can not go wrond with this now discontinued model.

I read the reviews on this phone before buying and was a bit skeptical because of some of the negatives, but took a chance. I work out of my home so a good phone is important to me. So far this phone is more than I expected. (I've had it about 3 weeks)It was the only phone that had everything I was looking for: spread spectrum (for privacy), compactness, large lcd screen, hold function, speakerphone, intercom (didnt think I would use this but it IS handy), and built in phone directory (like my cell phone). I don't even have call waiting but the phone does that too, of course. But even so the phone directory is a real time saver. It holds up to 50 numbers and you scroll up and down. Simplicity is also important to me and I don't like a lot of unnecessary buttons just for show. Vtech kept this one SIMPLE and that is what I like best. The large lcd is nice, back lit, and basically tells you what u need to know. The 3 "softkeys" work like a cell phone and change functions in different menus. I didn't really expect the speakerphone to work well but it sounds better than expected and I do use it, so far with no complaints from callers. Oh, and the belt clip actually works pretty well, unlike some which let the phone slip easily off and onto the floor. NOW, you ask is it as good as a corded phone? Who would expect any compact cordless phone with all these features to have 100% clarity of a corded phone? But the slight difference is far more than compensated by the many advantages offered in this small package. I sometimes use this phone while sitting in front of my desk phone, because of its size and portability! If mine breaks after the warranty, I will just go and buy another handset unless someone else comes up with a better phone for the money, which so far I have not seen.
