if you have a
PS2 and you like to feel like yourr in the game this is something you have to have. It truely is the best thing you could ever have for the PS2!!!!

I got this thing about a year ago. At first, it ruled. After a few months, one of the speakers started to make a popping noise every once in a while. I emailed monstercable, and they sent me a new one, just like that. A few weeks ago, one of the ports on the subwoofer went. I emailed them back and they sent me a brand new one. Now my system rules again

I liked the extended bass of the SuperTwo's compared to SuperOnes.While the SuperOne's

cutoff is 57Hz. the SuperTwo's cutoff at 35Hz.

I also like the piano-like shine of the black

SuperTwos.The only thing I don't like about

these speakers is the low SPL of 87.If you decide

to buy these speakers you will be pleased.I read

a review that these speakers are not packaged

in the best way so be careful not

to punch a woofer or tweeter in while opening

the package!

If you are considering tower speakers I would recommend NHT Super Two. New modles are more money from NHT and have metal dome tweeters.This is ok, but do you really want to replace all your speakers in your home entertainment system to metal dome.{so, the speakers sound the same}.I traded NHT Super Ones and receved a new set of Super Twos for $.... Super Twos have gone down from $... range to $.... Price,5 yr warranty,and a built in down firing sub make this a good choice for your home entertainment system.

These are fabulous speakers. I took a lot of time looking for top quality speakers that wouldn't break the bank and these came highly recommended. I have had them over a year now and love every movie I watch, or CD I listen to. If you're in the market, these are the ones to buy.

I sent the TV, RCA T13072 13'' Kitchen TV/VCR COMBO White. My sister says that TV Channels 3 and 6 in Phila., Pa. - the reception is very poor. The Antenna appears defective.

Will you advise?

The RCA kitchen TV/VCR with the swivel base has been a wonderful addition to our kitchen. The picture is very clear and the VCR easy to use. The remote control is also very user friendly. But the best part is the attached swivel base. The swivel base is not visible. And the TV turns very easily and safely. It doesn't slide on the counter top when my little son pushes on the TV's controls and I'm not worried about him pushing it off the counter top.

After doing a complete kitchen remodel, we shopped around for a small TV/VCR combo for the kitchen. We looked at some much more expensive models, with specs that looked better on paper. We are very fussy about picture quality and didn't want to suffer with an inferior image. However, the sealed membrane remote control sealed the deal for my wife, who is the primary user. That was a year ago, and this TV has been one of the more satisfying products of any type we've bought recently. The picture is much better than I had imagined once I got rid of the silly factory settings and calibrated it to a realistic level. It is on and off all day long as we are in and out of the kitchen. All the ergonomic features work perfect, from the swivel base, the grab handle behind the top surface to the membrane remote that can be picked up with wet hands without damaging it. The tape function work well, and my wife has been using her cooking tapes quite a bit. It is amusing to us now that we were prepared to pay three times as much to get a good picture. We have had a chance to look at those other sets since, and we now know that this set beats them all on ergonomics and kitchen specific functions, and holds it's own on image quality with the expensive sets. A win / win for us.

I have been reserching, seeing, and listening to every separates combination for 6 months. This included Legacy, Meridian, and Parasound. Even auditioned super high end with Krell, McIntosh, Theta, and Carver's Sunfire combo. And even still the new combined separates of B&K and Denon. With all that said the Sony 9000ES pre/pro (coupled with the 9000ES Amplifier) is just astonishing! It is truly a reference system and for the money, absolutely the best value out there. I could'nt be happier.

I have heard every processor at every price, and compared side by side with the best, including the theta casa nova, the sony 32 bit processor with its 32 bit dsp modes will bring theater sound as good if not better than everything on the market. The bass is full and rock solid, and the detail is clear and concise, bringing theater sound not only from all directions, but above with full dimensionality, keeping the purity of the original signal. Its great theater sound just like sonys mastering studios, where most sound tracks are now mastered in SDDS. If someone tells you right off bat that there are better processors, I can guarantee you, they have not heard the sony ta-e9000es.

I purchased these after reading about them in Consumer Reports. Sound is very good over the frequency spectrum, with no noticable overenhancement in the spectrum. Bass sound is adequate, not great, although that's expected for a speaker this size.

I love these speakers, They sound so good that I moved my sub out of my room and into the living room where parents don't have one. these would be a perfect set of speakers to place in the den to enjoy music in there.

Want to buy a low-end subwoofer. Haven't decided between the KLH BB 50w subwoofer and Aiwa TSWM6. Could anyone tell me which is a better product? Any advice is appreciated you.

i got this not to long ago and this is a very good product and worth the price

This is a very nice subwoofer. It certainly has added an extra dimension to what was already a nice home theater system I have. Really great with DVD movies. That first big shoot-out scene in Predator really kicks when Ventura opens up with the min-gun :-) Sounds equally as good with music input. Was easy to connect, though I had to add some speaker wire and since I did I just replaced all the old wires anyway. My only misapprehension came while watching the movie The Haunting. Not sure what it was but some noises came out that sounded like the subwoofer was rattling a little bit! Or maybe it was just part of the sound effects, who knows? Not to worry, this sub works just great. (By the way I hardly ever give 5 stars on anything, he he)

I PURCHASED THIS POWERED SUBWOOFER ABOUT 8 MONTHS AGO AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TURN IT OFF SINCE. THE AUDIOSORCE SUB IS PROBABLY THE BEST PURCHASE I HAVE MADE IN MY HOME THEATER SYSTEM. I DONT HAVE $1,000 TO GO OUT AND SPEND ON ONE COMPONENT OF MY SYSTEM SO I GAVE THIS SUB A TRY. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE GAIN AND LEVEL CONTROLS THAT GAVE ME FULL CONTROL OVER HOW MY SUB WILL SOUND. I READ A REVIEW OF SOMEONE SAYING THEY HEARD A RATTLE COMING FROM THE SUB DURING A CERTAIN MOVIE, BELIEVE ME IT WAS MOST LIKELY JUST DOORS, WINDOWS, OR HIS TEETH RATTLING FROM THE TREMENOUS BASS COMING FROM THIS MASSIVE 10", 100 WATT, AMPLIFIED SUBWOOFER.

I purchased the VS 3.5 speakers with the SW 2 subwoofer.

The 2-way surrounds sound good with accurate reproduction for the size, though I replaced the fronts with 2-way bookshelf speakers for a fuller sound. This is a nice system for the price particularly for a small room. They are well-constructed and even have gold-plated binding posts which accept banana plugs.

The price is a bargain even if you just use for the 2 surrounds and the center. The SW 2 subwoofer is quite good to round out this system.

Just received these speakers a few days ago... I was impressed. I popped in the Gladiator DVD and tested the speakers. Awesome sound. Very clear dialogue from the center channel and clean sound reproduction from the main and surround speakers. The speakers give just enough bass so that you don't completely lose the low frequencies (it will sound REALLY weird if you don't hear any bass.... I tried that with some full range speakers that delivered absolutely NO bass) when the subwoofer is turned off. The mounting kit is a convenient addition to this package (but it's not the best mounting kit around). Quality sound for a very low price. I think it deserves a 5-star.

Well, I received these speakers for Christmas last year, and I have many different things to comment on for this.

First, the installation. It includes a simple poster to help you install them, but the problem is that my sound card is only a 2 channel, so I had to get rid of two speakers. Sure, I could upgrade, but after you read my review, you'll see why I won't.

Next, the sound clarity. Before these speakers, I had simple two speakers with no subwoofer, and it sounded horrible. The clarity from that to these was very clear, a definite shot from what I had, but the subwoofer sounds very low on my system. And the other problem is that I can't adjust it for how old my sound card is. I can adjust it w/ software in MusicMatch and equalizer settings and such, but other than that, it's not that deep.

Finally, reliability. Every now and then, I have to wiggle the main speaker connection to get it to play both the left and right speaker setup, for the wires are kind of weak.

Overall? I was expecting Philips to be a great type of speaker system, but I'd recommend Creative Labs speakers! They are very deep sounding and nice to listen to, even on a low system such as mine. :-)

My computer is my entertainment center, and i enjoy more after i bought MMS205. Great deal .... Beautiful combination of power and quality.

It really makes a difference when you upgrad from two speakers to five surround sound on your computer. I now can appreciate all the DVD movies because they sound so much better. Easy to hook up and install. Overall, its a great package.

These are decent for secondary use (in the bedroom etc). I own them, bought at a local store. They lack some clarity, but are exceptional at this price, in my opinion. (I paid more of course because I did not buy them at Amazon).

I've had many set of more costly speakers but none come close to these outstanding Techics SB-LX30 speakers which I believe are made by Panasonic. I also have a set of the smaller SB-LX10 which while providing exceptional accuracy can't produce the bass response you want for one of Bach's organ works, Toccata & Fugue in D Minor, for example. One outstanding CD that makes these speakers shine is Heartland (Sony label) with Edgar Meyer on Bass, Joshua Bell on Fiddle, Yo-Yo Ma Cello, Mark O'Connor. Top Shelf performers. Back to the speakers. You will have a hard time finding them. They were deservedly rated best buys in Consumer's Report. They kick ... so much that I can't understand why folks would entertain spending [more] on some other pair of speakers that has less accuracy and bass response. I also wonder if they will take the market away from the company's higher-end speakers? If you can lay your hands on a pair, you won't be disappointed.

These speakers are outstanding. They sound great and were rated as a Consumer Reports best buy. They have excellent base handling and a nice smooth response over the other frequencies. Probably the best speakers you can get at this price.
