I've heard these subs everywhere and they do good in any box in any place and my friend has a pair of them in a bandpass box with a 600 watt jesen amp on it and the bass is so pure and clean and so i recommend these subs for anyone that wants pure hard hitting, earth shaking bass. Any they aren't that expensive.

My freinds say everytime i drive by they know its me cause its clean hardhiting i put these subs in an oversized homemade box hooked up to an 444 watt sony xplod amp they sound great

I actually own the surround sound set of these speakers, which is this 3 plus 3 more. For both music and dvds, this system rocks! I have a very small apartment-and a very small budget- but thanks to Cambridge SoundWorks I have very big sound! All of the other speakers I listened to that were in my price range sounded like junk...I was very discouraged and then a friend told me to try Cambridge. Boy am I glad I did! Ensemble 4 blends into my room perfectly- I often forget they are there.

The place where I get my hair done has these little speakers all over the place! Even though it's just backround music, I couldn't figure out how they sounded so good! My hairdresser showed me the little bass box that goes with it and I fell in love! That night I went to the Soundworks store and got my own set! I love these speakers, they sound so good!

I wasn't prepared for the great sound these speakers have.They don't have the best bass I've ever heard but their midrange and high frequencies are much better than other speakers at their price.

not only unbelievable sound, but cool looking too. can't believe that these tiny things can create such great sound. even my wife's music sounds good on them!

Food, beer and SoundWorks is all we need for a good time in the great outdoors! It sounds like a home stereo system but is so easy to pack up and take along with us. We even lug it down to the beach with us so we can listen to our favorite CDs while we swim!

I traveled cross country with these speakers last summer. Bought the battery pack, plugged it into my RV, and had the best sounding tunes on the road. Now that I'm home, I have it hooked up to my laptop, and all of my CDs sound awesome. The sub hides away under my desk in the corner, and it's a sleek looking system. I couldn't work without it.

I really like Cambridge's speakers, both because they sound good and because even I, a struggling college student, can afford them! The Surrounds do an excellent job of making me feel like I am in the movie, by bouncing those rear channel effects all over my room.

have had a pair of these for years. they are awesome speakers, and sound really good. They also sell a newer version, that is less boxy, called the s300s. I bought the newer ones this summer, and have moved these older ones to the basement. they still work and sound great, and are very affordable. Nice becuase the off-white color makes them blend in, and you forget you even have them in the corners.

I REALLY DONT HAVE ANY COMMENTS ABOUT THE SPEAKER EXCEPT IT HASNT LET ME DOWN YET, AND IT STILL PACKS A POWERFUL PUNCH SLAMING THE COMP. DOWN EVEN KLIPS CANT TOUCH THIS BUT OF COURSE THEY ARE MAJORLY ON HOW CLEAR YOU CAN HEAR YOUR MUSIC BUT WERES THE BASE... AND CERWIN VEGA PROVIDES THAT.. AND THEN SOME SO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND SEMPER FI.

I used to work for a major audio company that sold everything from Audio Researc to Mission speakers. I must confess that I love BASS and nearly bought a set of Mission 702s until I demoed a set of VS-100s for a customer. He was impressed with the sound and so was I. Needless to say I bought a set of VS-100s and never looked back. I have them hooked up to a Harman Kardon AVR35 and HK FL8300 and they sound awesome. Guaranteed you can't beat CV for bass, power and performance. A great speaker. They also have excellant customer support and a good website for those potential buyers. I know, I checked them out before I bought mine.

These are excellent speakers, they sound great!better than my old standard high quality black harmon/kardon with out bass speaker system sounded!These are great speakers, without a doubt.Love em.Never dissed them.And is great quality for any apllication on your computer.I reccomend then for anyone who has a computer or stereo or electronic that will fit with these speakers.*:)

I don't know much about speakers, but I know these sound great. I had a two-speaker system, and this is so much better. I love these speakers! I've only them for two days now, but so far they are great. I would recommend to anyone.

The Creative Labs TravelSound MP3 has surprisingly good sound for such a little unit. It's a "palm-sized)" one-piece stereo speaker system, little larger than an eyeglass case (WxHxD 6" x 2" x 2.5") but the sound is nearly as good as a small boombox. This unit does a great job in smaller rooms but you'll be disappointed if you try to fill a large room with sound. You do lose most of the low end so the bass is a little anemic. But the mid-range and the high end are crisp and clean.

You can hook up your portable electronic audio equipment like your CD/MP3 player, portable DVD player, even your laptop computer but being able to download MP3/WMA files directly to the unit is a definite PLUS.

It is a little $$$ but it is still a good value. I recommend it to anyone who travels a lot but likes to have decent tunes in their hotel room.

I was looking for an active speaker system that would fit in my pants pocket and produce enough sound to practice dancing. I purchased 3 units to try - the Creative TravelSound MP3, the Sony SRS288 and the Panasonic RR-SPT70. After thorough testing, I've decided to keep the TravelSound and return the others. For me, the most important feature is that it fits well into my pants pocket and can connect to a sound source in my shirt pocket, such as my Palm Tungsten T3 (MP3 player) or Sony NetMD player. I rejected the Sony because it had a 16 inch cord, which was too short for pants with deep pockets. The others had 22 inch cords, which was adequate. I rejected the Panasonic because it was too long for my pants pocket when unfolded, and too fat when folded. The TravelSound fits into my pants pocket the best. Some other advantages of the TravelSound are (1) it doesn't have a grill over the speakers, which the others have. Hence, I can clean out grit that would get behind the grill of the other speakers. (2) At high volume the sound is less distorted that the Panasonic. (3) Although the MP3 player is a plus, it really needs an LCD screen. I control what I play using the Pocket Tunes MP3 player in my Palm, or from my MD player. Nevertheless, I still use the TravelSound's MP3 player for my favorites. One caviat, anyone planning to run the speakers from house current needs to be concerned about hum (reported by other reviewers). Since the TravelSound doesn't come with a power supply, to use house current, you should either get the power supply from Creative (sold separately), or get the Sony, which comes with a power supply that can be used world wide. If you buy a cheap power supply, it probably won't have enough filtering, and you'll get AC hum. The Sony has no hum when run from its power supply. I haven't tested Creative's power supply. With the TravelSound, I'm now a "walking boombox", and there is enough sound to fill a small room that allows several couples to dance along with us. This is a really great way to share music.

If you want to get wild don't buy them but for a background ambience they sound great.

This is one very enjoyable speaker to listen to even over extended periods. Highs are detailed and mids are open and clear without being harsh. Suitable for small to medium sized rooms these will sound even better with the addition of a powered sub which extends dynamic presence even further. Right now I have these connected to an Adcom GFA-555 from the pre-amp outs on my Sherwood RVD-8090 receiver. To say I am satisfied with these is an understatement. I am thrilled...and I've been trying different speakers for about half as long as I've been around. If you like your music real loud, however, then get a pair of those new JBL Studios. If you don't then you'll probably appreciate these Design Acoustics bookshelfs. They might be cheap but they sure don't sound cheap.
