If I would know before ordering that: 1. The receiver has sever echo when you are talking 2.That it gives annoying soundes during dialing 3.That answering machine does not stop when you picking up parallel phone. 4.That automatic dialing is inconvenient I would not buy this phone. But I have it now and will use it.

Overall, a great phone and value! The phone is very sturdy/durable and has almost all the features I was looking for. It also works and looks great! The only feature I was missing was a MUTE button. No big deal though. The only other complaint I have is the power outlet cord comes out fairly easy , and if it does your most likely to get disconnected! Those are the only problems I could find and are not big at all! A great second phone!

I bought two of these phones for my parents (for main phone and a home office phone). The great thing about the phone is that it has a digital VM and Caller ID in one phone. It also can be set to have the VM pick up on the first ring when a telemarketer calls (and blocks their number). The VM is annoying because, like was already mentioned, if the power goes out, your greeting is erased. Two other annoying things, you have to listen to the whole message before erasing it and the VM doesn't shut off when you pick up the handset. I'd buy another one if it meant I didn't have to look for a better one.

got it installed rather easily but the sound was empty in the higher frequencies VERY TINNEY. if you don't care about the quality then get them. these are very poorly made speakers. it is not a good deal

...Surprisingly great sound. First Audiosource purchase, not the last. Very easy to install, make sure you read the instructions. System used on: Harman Kardon 520 Receiver, JBL center, front and subwoofer with optical output, very large media room. These speakers sound awesome with 5.1 and DTS, DTS moreso. Tested with "Matrix" (bullets feel like they whizz by), "Saving Private Ryan", "Gladiator", "Attack of the Clones", "Blade 2" and a few more. Really nice. Had to lower JBL's channel and increase these, since JBL's would overpower surround speakers. Great for the price.

I bought these speakers for the ceiling in a remodeled basement. The hole you have to cut in not tough to do but as another reviewer stated, make sure you know where your studs are in the wall/ceiling - you don't want to cut a hole in your sheetrock to find out the speaker won't fit because you hit a stud. Sound quality is amazing for the price and is very easy to hook up. Highly recommended.

Just to start off, it is impossible to even get any good sound out of these speakers. I got these with the dell, and they have nice sound, but the volume is really bad. The volume control is in a bad spot (ON TOP OF THE RIGHT SATTELITE) really annoying. Also, you can get much better sound out of the JBL creature speakers, JBL invaders, and the JBL soundsticks. All of the JBLs sound better and look much better with an apple. These speakers are made to look good with PCs which they do, but NOT AN iBook!!!!! They sound okay, don't look great, for speakers they are just mediocre.

great sounding speakers,sleek design,small satelites.powerful sub woofer,great highs,crisp midtones,driving bass. only things i don't like is +- on speaker does not have have numerical settings for volume 1-10, ok thats picky, but the on off control is on the subwoofer in the back on the bottom.it says to place it 2 feet from the monitor.i don't have a big table so i place it on the floor.so its a pain to bend down to the floor avery time i want to turn the speskers on or off. overall this system features excellent quality at a reasonable price.best bang for the buck.

This speaker system is absolutely amazing. The sound clarity and quality are as good of those on a Bose Stereo system! Whether you are playing a computer game, or listening to music, the sound is superb.

The positive aspects of this speaker system are that Harman Karmen has an excellent reputation, the speakers are very modern, unique, and stylish, the speakers are extremely small, there are convenient controls on top of small speakers ( + and - symbols control the volume)and you can control the surround sound, the bass, etc on the subwoofer, and the sound is excellent. In the directions, it said that you should place the speakers a certain distance from the monitor because it interferes with it...I have not had trouble with that even though my speakers are very close to the monitor. In addition, it takes 3 minutes, literally, to set these speakers up.

This Harman Karden speaker system has an excellent value, and you should definitely consider it if you are looking for great surround sound at a decent price.

If you want these speakers for the g5. Time to move on. It is a completely different speaker jack. I'm returning them.

Wow, these things are amazing.

I got these speakers for my bedroom. I wanted to play music from my iBook. Before the cable was even connected, I was falling in love. These little things are so sleek and attractive -- like modern crystal sculptures.

Then came another pleasant surprise. These tiny things back a punch. They are more than enough to fill my large bedroom with nice, crisp sound.

I will say that the connector issue can be confusing. I thought I couldn't use these with my iBook, because iBooks don't have the special jack that's needed. But Griffin Technology's iFire has solved that problem. The iFire even allows you to use these speakers with the iPod. Lots of possibilities now.

I've had a G4 Quicksilver for over two years now, and have lusted after these speakers since 2001. I finally broke down and bought them. It was worth the wait! Let's get one thing straight right off: these speakers were designed for the quicksilver G4 macs, and the new iMacs. They will also work on the new Emacs and G5s. If you have the old gray g4, they will not fit the jack without an adaptor. The speaker connection is NOT the stereo mini-plug! Just look on the back of your g4 and see if there is an icon for these speakers.
Sound quality is superb for computer speakers, and respectable even by bookshelf standards. These are way better than average PC speakers. Base is clean but not huge. People use way too much base these days anyway. Where these speakers excel is in imaging mid-tones and vocals. The sound is very rich and warm, which wonderfully reproduces the human voice. Sure the price is steep, but all of Apple's products cost more and give you what you pay for. Ever notice that you see lots of Macs as set decoration in films? THese are a work of industrial art of the highest order!

A word of warning. If you have small kids at home, those lovely shiny speaker cones are an irresistable target for curious little fingers. This is true for doltish aduilts as well. Do yourself a favor and get the clear plastic covers for these. They look cool and will protect your investment from envious hands.

I actually ordered this item, and then I went to go check out the sound at circuit city. When I heard these speakers I was wondering why the bass was so low, so then I tried to turn it up, turn on the WooX, and still the bass is low. I was very dissapointed that the bass was so low, personally I need a lot of bass when I listen to music. So when I got home I cancelled my order.

I ordered this and as soon as I got it, the stands for the flat speakers started breaking. The speakers sound great, but the plastic stands are real flimsy. 3 out of 4 have broken. But if you are careful with them ahead of time, knowing they are kinda flimy, im sure you'll be fine. The sound is really good. Bass and otherwise.

I find this system to be a good choice because of the price and the way it was built. I have listened to the bass in my bedroom and i love bass, so i enjoyed this setup. Dont expect the walls to fall down, well they do shake some, but for a computer speaker, it rocks. and clarity surprised me, most of the time you get either good bass or good highs, but never both the same time, this is as close as it gets without spending 250 to 300. so a good choice. but dont loose the remote! the bass did in fact make me smile. and i listen to music for a living.

For the price this pair of speakers are a nice suprise. I thought I would hardly get any midrange and bass at all but they do pretty well. I already have a nice hifi system at home so I didnt want so many speakers for a 5.1 or 7.1 setup nor did I want a subwoofer. I listen to music on my dedicated stereo system instead so I only needed speakers for occassional MP3 listening, TV on DVD or games. Games were my main concern since I thought they would probably not have the impact they would without a sub but they do just fine. I figured spending an extra $20 would not buy me that much better speakers or a decent sub so thats why I chose these. Cheap speakers will not reproduce audio accurately and will always add something to the sound but overall the 220's are easy on the ears. Im gonna give it five stars considering the price.

I wanted a set of 2.0 speaker system for my dad. He does not require the head pounding bass of the Altec Lansing 221 2.1 speakers that I have. My main problem is that most 2.0 speaker systems are just plain awful. They usually have little or no bass and terrible highs. Don't even mention about to me about clarity. My problem was solved when with the purchase of the Altec Lansing 220. This thing not only looks good, but is the best 2.0 speaker system I've ever heard in this price range. Excellent lows and highs for audiophile critics. Can play any music from hip hop to classical with ease. Big volume control and a headphone jack tops it all off.

I wanted a pair of speakers for my desk at work. I didn't want something that had heavier bass (though I love bass, I keep that for my home listening). I just wanted relatively inexpensive speakers that had a crisp sound and decent bass. I also wanted them to look good.

These speakers fit the bill! They sound great and I can listen to music at low volumes at work without disturbing others around me. Nice way to take the edge off a stressful day. They are a bit large but it didn't make any difference to me. I had plenty of room on my desk for them on each sides of the dual monitors I have setup. I am also impressed with their overall look, black and silver fits right in with my black monitors and Aluminum PB G4.

Overall, I highly recommend if you are looking for a good deal on speakers that sound excellent but aren't meant to rock the house. I listen to mostly downtempo, trip hop music as well as some acoustic latin music at work and it sounds wonderful!

I recently purchased these speakers after much searching. Yes you can find better speakers if you want to pay double what these cost. No these are not meant to handle your favorite booty-bass mix CD at 1,000,000 decibels. They are however pretty powerful at 68 total watts. They seem to work great for me. I haven't had any trouble with distortion or muffled sound. Whether its music, games, DVDs these speakers are great as an addition to any home computer.

Picked these up on Saturday, day before yesterday, to accompany a new PC I also bought. Spent all day Sunday burning CDs so I listened to a variety of music on them, and they came through with flying colors. They sound good, from mid-low bass up through the highs. Not much really low bass, but it would not be reasonable to expect it from an 8" sub with 26 watts that cost less than half a c-note. Nice package, look good, easy to set up, price was right, sound just fine - what's not to like? They were the best sounding set at the giant electronics store I got them from. Sales asst said they fly off the shelves as soon as they come in.

Let me get something straight. For all of you guys who just read all those reviews about this sound system stinking, hows for a little pish posh. These speakers are fantastic. I am a DJ, and own a home studio down in Maryland. My Amplifier recently fried, so I needed a low budget temporary replacement, fast, i turned to the 8 inch subwoofer and said, yeah. The monitors (satellites) provide very crisp treble and mid-range waves, and are suitable for recording! A little equalization helps, but it really isn't necessary. 2.5" drivers really give out very defined highs, and are a solid sound for their size. The subwoofer... Oh yeah!
The Subwoofer provides deep bass, which is easily adjusted if you are one not to like that. The Bassreflex driver is iron-casted, and i'm tellin you, it performs like a concert. The voice coil provides even deeper sound, and probably some of the richest deep ends i've heard yet. BUilt in amplifier means just plug in your source, and play it loud, 68 watts really sounds a lot louder through this system. I highly recomment this in any home studio or any home audio system for that matter.

Cyber Acoustics is getting ripped off on soopa high quality audio. Go get it!!!! ;)

These speakers are okay as far as sound goes. However, one major flaw is the tendency for one of the speakers to go out. You can get it going again if you have a pair of headphones and you jiggle the plug around inside but it's very touchy. All and all it makes for a very annyoing listening experience.

I don't understand why these speakers are getting such high reviews from people. They're ok, but definitely not great. They get loud without distorting, there's a decent amount of bass for their price and they're cheap. But I think anyone would be much better off getting a slightly more expensive but better set of speakers.

Harman Kardon is a manufacturer of high end audio products. This speakers were originally designed for Dell computers. The problems mentioned by other reviewers are probably due to a bad setup of the equipment, grounding problems or bad recordings. I got mine and plug them in my computer and they sounded great. At the beginning I had a problem of too much echo, but it was because of the 3d function of my soundcard, so I had to disable it to let the speakers perform well, otherwise vocals sound awful. Also I place the speakers properly, because they are very directional. Believe me, they are the best computer speakers I have heard, unbelievable sound for their size. They have very good bass though I don't believe they go down to 30 Hz as you find in their specs. They are a best buy.

I bought a Megaworks system and the subwoofer caught fire after three weeks. I sent it back and received a new Megaworks system in exchange. After two months, the subwoofer started crackling along with all but one tweeter. I had to send it back to creative this time because my 90 day store return was up. Creative claimed that the subwoofer had been damaged in shipping and would not warranty it. I told them just to fix it, as their warranty stated (fix or replace). They told me that they only replaced, and they could not replace a product damaged in shipping. I had them ship it back to me in the same box and packing they had received it in. It arrived in the box I had shipped it in (the box was undamaged) with no packing (I had packaged it very well with the original styrophome). A leg had been broken by being dropped on a sharp corner (although the shipping box was fine). Obviously they had dropped it after opening my box and had refused to warranty it. So, I am out a heap of cash with nothing to show for it.

UPDATE: Cambridge sent me a new sub for free after threatening legal action. They were very cordial, unlike the jerks at Creative.

The sound and volume from this system is amazing. I loved it!! The problem is it overheated after 45 minutes at 80% volume and the power supply fried.
Creative Labs is not offering any warranty coverage for me because I live in the Virgin Islands.
The power supply needs to be made external in order to disipate the huge amount of heat created by the power supply.
I am still trying to get resolution with them and if I do, I will happily give the system high marks. Like I said, when it worked, it worked well.

This is a great sounding speaker system that packs a lot of bass punch and clean highs. When I want to jam, they can play really loud - I live in a two bedroom condo and they sound great in my smaller space.

Straightforward instructions and all cabling made installation easy in about 20 minutes. The speakers are connected to my Creative Extigy external sound card via an included single digital cable (3-channel miniplug). My Sony VAIO notebook, Mini disk, DVD and CD player are connected to the Extigy. Surround sound is great on DVDs. Lots of audio software goodies included which are nice. One allows users to select 2, 4, or 5.1 speaker mode.

I never knew my MP3s could sound this good when played from my notebook's MusicMatch! A great buy from Amazon.com.

I bought this Koss system as their headphones have been some of the best but this system theater system is a giant leap downward. Major complaint: it simply won't play a dvd unless it is in pristine condition. About half the DVD's we rent won't play all the way through. Second complaint: the remote is not intuitive and thus very confusing. Now I've got to buy a 2nd DVD player so I can watch videos. Look elsewhere!

I bought this Home Theater System about a year and a half ago (and unbelievably, it hasn't gone down in price!). It's a great system for city folk who don't have a lot of space but want a versatile system with expandability. The DVD playback is excellent, though it only plays one disc at a time - so there's the potential annoyance of getting up to change discs when necessary. It has 3 auxiliary A/V inputs that allow you to make connections to your TV, stereo, etc. I actually have it connected to the soundcard on my PC, which allows me to play Internet Radio through the Home Theater system!

There are a few drawbacks - the speakers are a little on the flimsy side, and there's an occasional whirring feedback noise at low volumes when using it with a connected auxiliary device (thankfully, this doesn't happen in DVD mode). Though the surround sound is rich, it loses something at lower volumes - so you couldn't really use this to play intense-sounding movies at late hours if you've got neighbors. The manual is a bit inconsistent with the actual procedures that need to be followed in order to properly set up the system - it will make reference to the SETUP button, when what you really need to press is MENU, etc. You'll also need to keep the manual close by, since some of the features and configuration options are a bit complicated. Another minor oddity is the clock - it runs really fast and is about 5 min. ahead of real time after about 2 months.

By far the most serious drawback is the remote. It's flimsy - the remote on my 14" TV/DVD combo is much better than the remote for this system. And the buttons can be tempermental - they are small and need to be pressed in a certain way that I haven't yet consistently figured out.

Overall, however, I'd say that in this price class, it brings you close to the quality and features of systems costing hundreds of dollars more and is thus a great value - despite a few significant drawbacks.

I purchased this system from Amazon in May.... Arrived in one week via UPS...in great condition.The system was expertly packaged to protect contents. It was easy to assemble and connect it up and was playing dvd's and cd's within an hour!
The best part of this system is the dvd/tuner/receiver... It has plenty of power and features that will make you smile! It is perfect for a small-medium sized room.

If there were an area to criticize... it would be the speakers are a little on the light side... they are adequate, but they don't quite make that great punch that some other speakers have.

It has a small full-function remote that works well once you get used to it... In a nutshell - I think this is the best home theatre sound system for under [$$$] on the market.
