The HT-SK5 is a lemon--don't buy it. Although the sound quality is great, the audio doesn't match the video when you're using a digital input, like digital HDTV. So, the lips don't match the words on any digital stations. It made it impossible to watch any HDTV programming, which essentially was why I bought it.

After 3 months of dealing with Samsung's poor technical support, including shipping the product back to Samsung, I learned from Samsung that they can't fix the problem, and they don't have a replacement product that would work better. The only thing more frustrating than the audio sync problem was Samsung's awful technical support. The staff was poorly educated about their own products, they never returned calls or e-mail like they promised, and seemed to have no concern for their customers. Don't waste your money--in fact, Samsung treated me so poorly, I can't recommend buying any Samsung products.

Yes these particular set of speakers are not that great, sounds are shallow and lack depth that even $100 PC game system could deliver.

Like thousands other videophilles, I also am a proud owner of the 61" Samsung DLP. I must say, I (and thosands of others) seem to all agree that sammy's customer support are 5 out of 5 top notch and none better.

In this day and age, saying you will never buy samsung product is like saying you will never buy a
Porsche form that garage again because they couldn't fix your metro geo.

Apparently, they run special divison for their high enb products. I call in about a problem with their 400 dvd player and I was treated with the same great services as with my 5 grand TV. However, my first call was made via a google-searched 800 number, and that was horrible. If you want good service, call the speical number provided with the warrenty card. Seems they only want to roll out their "5 star support" for ones with deeper pockets.

There is no delay, as another review claimed. (Delay is adjustable, based on speaker placement) Excellent sound reproduction. This was a good deal at $500 plus. For $299, it is a steal. Klipsh Speakers are unbeatable, even by Bose standards.

I was told by a Smarthome.com rep that this product was discontinued, so I found it here on Amazon.com. It seemed to indicate that this is a new product, but not available yet. I called Acoustic Research and they said that it was in fact discontinued and that they will not be shipping any to Amazon.com...

The unit itself did exactly what I expected it to and is a good value for the money. I use it everyday and control different speaker zones in my residence. I wish the unit had LED's that indicated when a zone was on and gain control for each zone would be a definite plus. I haven't found one yet that has these features

The sound is fine, but I broke it before I could even get it on the wall. The stands are made of a plastic that broke under minimal pressure when I was trying to adjust the angle. I'd recommend a different model.

When I originally saw the review from Amazon, I thought I would try them. I am glad I did! They do have great bass for their size. I have been wanting to upgrade my home theater system without breaking the bank so I purchased these to go along with the Audio Source SW12 Powered Subwoofer also from Amazon. They all work FANTASTIC together! The only reason why I gave them four stars(which should be four and a half) is because they lack just alittle on the high end. But that's O.K. since I have had a pair of Super Tweeters from Radio Shack that were used on my old speakers. I just really like to here super crisp highs as well as the mid and the bass. These Project Ones really provide good mid bass and mid-range to use in your home theater. I recommend the use of six of these(since they are sold in pairs)to use for your home theater. That gives you two for the front, two for the rear and two placed side by side for the center channel. Don't forget the Audio Source subwoofer either.

Poor performance for the price. Not much of a range, very little base, and the right speaker crackled at higher volume! What a stinker!

i have the r-30s and the a-130 the r-30 are beter and they cost half.

These are fine for the price and I like the size.
These serve my purpose almost exaclty, there's just this one thing. I bought them because I needed some PC speakers with a headphone jack. Uhm, funny thing about that is...there isn't one. Is that false advertisement or do I have to unscrew the casing to find the headphone jack?
If you're looking for speakers with a headphone jack, look elsewhere.

This is my third pair of computer-speakers, and this product from micro innovations ranks OK, for this size speakers. Apart from the somewhat hollow sound you get frrom the plastic casing, it has remarkable bass for such small speakers. Fits on any disk because of the size, so if you're looking for a pair of inexpensive speakers that doesn't take up a lot of space, these speakers may be what you're looking for. But if good sound is the goal, these probably wont satisfy you.

Do not be deceived by Monster Cable's fancy looking cables and exotic looking packaging.Inside this thick "Garden Hose" cable,is nothing more than the basic copper wire you will find in a 1/8 mini-stereo cable that costs $1.99.Unfortunately,I did buy this cable,used it,but could not return it.This cable is almost as heavy as my speakers!! I now use a basic $1.99 mini cable from my sound card to my speakers and it works great!!

If you plan on using this cable for a pair of small computer speakers then I'm not sure you will get much out it. On the other hand if you plan on using it for line-in recordings, or to hook up your MP3 player to an aux. input in your car, then this cable is clearly a few steps above and beyond a dinky $1.99 cable.

I got the Sanus DFSAT, but immediately returned them because I thought the product was not worth the price I paid. The Nustone based does not have the "look and feel" of granite, instead, it is really just medium grade plastic.

The stand itself is too light, and the base is too small, so there is a risk of the standing falling over. While my speaker wires may be on the thick side, the holes to guide the wire through the poles were too small. The entire stand is basically held together by two screws, and thus the entire construction will, at best, be always wobbly and insecure.

I do not recommend purchasing this product.

This stand is perfect for small satellite speakers (which I use). The base of the speaker stand is heavy and provides excellent overall stability. Only a hurricane would knock these stands over (No need to use carpet spikes). The ability to adjust the speaker height is also a bonus. The speaker wire can be conveniently hid inside the speaker "pole". I was able to hide 16 gauge speaker wire easily.

Although I was shocked that speaker stands in general are SO expensive, I am very happy with this product. Hence, I'm dinging it one start due to price.

These speakers cost about twice as much as similar speakers, and they sound similar to TV speakers, only slightly clearer. If are thinking about spending $30 on these, just pay the extra $20 to get some of the inexpensive computer speakers from Altec Lansing or Cambridge Soundworks, they are a much better value. The only real use I can see for these is to carry with you for portable cd player if you don't want headphones.

While the one star review is true, I believe the reviewer was a bit too harsh. I like these speakers for their portable audio uses as intended. Perhaps at $30 he felt he paid too much and might be right. You can find these speakers cheaper, (i've seen them as low as $15). I paid $30 a long time ago and have used them a lot. I can use them with my solar powered rechargeable AA's on river trips, (but I actually use them only in my backyard as yet ;-)

The sound is perfectly adequate for the speakers that they are. If the lone star reviewer expected better audio quality, he should certainly have thought ahead to buy more expensive computer speakers as suggested but they won't come battery powered like these!

I simply love having fully portable speakers for my CD and radio devices as well as for my laptop. I like them for what they were intended and I will happily bump up the star value on this product.

I thought that these would make a good pair of surrond sound speakers as no wiring would be required. However, the transmitter kept automaticallly turning off even when the sound was on. Even when they were on, there was quite a bit of background noise.

There is not enough information for this product.need to know how much power or watts speakers can handle. distance away that they will work

I was looking for a simple, yet quality, set of speakers to go with our PC-based DVD system. The wireless nature of these speakers was a real selling point for me as I didn't want to have to worry about running wires and I wanted to be able to easily reposition the speakers. The only down side I've found in my use of these speakers is that when I put them in a new location I sometimes have to play with the direction they are pointing to get an optimal signal. I am considering purchasing more of these to use on my home office computer.

I bought this as a gift for my parents and just found out [Dec. 25th] they need to also purchase a transmitter to get the darn thing to even work. The picture shows the transmitter- there is NO mention of requiring this piece as well. This information is necessary in order for someone to make an educated decision on whether or not to buy. What a slippery marketing tactic.

Be careful when you order this item. Even though the picture above shows the speaker with the transmitter, this product is just the speaker. If you don't already have a transmitter, you want to get item number SRSRF90RK.

Not sure why everyone else received the speaker without the transmitter. Mine came with it and overall sounds pretty good in my bedroom. No there's not a whole lot of bass, but visually it looks pretty nice especially at night with the cool illuminating blue light. For my purposes, I hooked this baby up to my new mini ipod and it works fantastic!
