If you are like me and have tons of old 8mm (or Hi8) tapes lying around, this 8mm Walkman is perfect. I upgraded to MiniDV but forgot to transfer my old 8mm tapes before giving my Canon 8mm camcorder away, so with this I'm not stuck with useless tapes. It plays back regular 8mm, Hi8, and also Sony's Digital8 formats. You can hook it up to a VCR or TV, and even to a DV-savvy PC. I capture my 8mm videos to my Fujitsu LifeBook C2210 laptop, using Windows Movie Maker 2 (download for free on Microsoft's website). I'm now about 40% done with transfering my old tapes, but I also enjoy hooking this up to my TV and playing back old tapes and re-living old memories. Ah, how time just flies...

This camera is the best of both worlds. It is as small as a consumer camcorder, but has rugged metal construction instead of flimsy plastic. It comes with a phantom powered stereo XLR input module which is an add-on for most camcorders. The picture quality and features are superb.

I purchased one of these units when they first came out about 1 1/2 years ago. I love this thing! The case will hold up to 8 memory sticks or 4 memory sticks and a pc card.(with included adapter) I like that fact that the case is made of anodized aluminum, and the soft rubber liner keeps the memory sticks snug as a bug in a rug. The case is small enough to put in just about any pocket too.

If you are anything like me, always wondering where you left your memory sticks, then this case is one accessory you will not want to be without one.

This bag, expecially when compared to my older Ambico bag, is extremely well-built and sized conveniently. With the false bottom removed it easily accomodates my TRV-20 camcorder, Nikon 995 DSC, cell phone, and Ipaq handheld, with room to spare. The D-rings to which the strap attaches are securely fastened, and the single clasp gets you inside the bag and its compartments quickly and easily --- just make sure it is securely latched!

I have two of these batteries in my case (along with the tiny one that came with my DCRVX2000 which I never use because it doesn't last.) This battery is great! Yes, it does add extra weight but I have never, ever run out of power during a film shoot. The cast and crew will burn out long before the battery does! If you just shoot some casual home footage, it might be overkill but if you, like me, end up shooting footage in locations where there's no handy electrical outlets, this battery is a welcome addition to your equipment bag!

I have two different Sony camera's. The life on Sony batteries is quiet good; however for long days an extra battery is a must.

It is really nice to be able to use my camcorder with the color screen instead of using the small B/W view finder and still have plenty of time to use up an entire tape without running out of battery time. I would think everyone who owns a Sony camcorder would want this battery

Significantly improved the utility of my Sony TRV-22. Wide range of use. This lens lends itself to scenic outdoor shots as well as use in relatively confined indoor spaces. Absolutely no zoom through problems and, despite caution in instructions, no focusing problems (at least with my TRV-22). I now consider this lens a must-have accessory and keep it permanently affixed to the camcorder! Well worth the modest price.

Recien adquirí este tripode para mi cámara digital sony DSC-V1 y trabaja exelente. De construcción resistente y estilizada, permite por medio del manubrio controlar el encendido/apagado, disparo de la fotografía y el zoom + y el zoom -. La altura maxima que alcanza es la necesaria para tomar fotografías que no queremos salgan borrosas por el temblor de las manos. Muy útil tambien para tomar fotografías con el temporizador (timer) y ahora siempre salgo en mis fotos. Realmente es una muy buena adquisición y su precio es bastante razonable. Altamente recomendable. Espero sea de ayuda. (En español es mejor!!)
