Most of us think saving penny for an additional battery. But finally end up paying more, when current one dies. Or may be with No flash working. This really does help.

Amazon was the only place I found a battery to replace my original one with a decent price!

At first, I was highly skeptical when the guy at the electronics store told me that the Monster Powerbar would dramatically improve the overall quality of my HT system (55" Widescreen/HDTV, Yamaha HTR 5560 digital reciever, JVC 7-Disc DVD/DVD-A changer, ICBM-1 bass manager, and the good ole VCR all plugged into one power strip). The only reason I was there in the first place was to upgrade my stereo floor speakers. The salesman was so adamant of the value of the Powerbar 2100 that he offered me a $100 discount and a 30-Day no-questions-asked guarantee. So I figured, "What do I have to lose?"

I first tested my new speakers without the Powerbar. Later, I hooked up the powerbar, plugged all of my components into it, and listened again. The difference in audio quality was immediately noticeable. There was enhanced clarity in the mid- and high ranges and the bass was much deeper and more defined. Next, I tried the television picture. Again, the clarity of the picture was remarkable (as was the clarity of the DVD picture).

Finally, I tried radio reception. While there was slight difference in clarity in the FM stations, the AM stations came in CRYSTAL CLEAR, with absolutely zero interference from the TV or air conditioner.

All of this in addition to the enhanced protection from severe power surges. If there was any negative criticism at all, it would be the sheer length of the power stip itself (almost 2 feet long), which is necessary to effectively separate the audio protection from the video protection.

All in all, though, definitely worth the investment!

I have a digital camera that I use constantly. I used to use another brand of rechargeable batteries but they needed at least 12-14 hours and I never knew if they were done recharging. What's even worse, I made a habit of carrying an extra set in my pocket because I knew that if I used the flash, it would drain them clean!

Then someone recommended Monster. I used Monster products before, specifically their phone cable for my modem (by the way, it is also an awesome product) and their video cables for my DVD player and TV (again, awesome). My initial thought was "Monster brand has already proven itself with me, could they continue batting 1.000 with their batteries?" The answer was a resounding YES!

First of all, recharging only takes about 30-40 minutes and there is even a light indicator that glows from amber to green to let you know that it's finished. Out of habit, I carried an extra pair of Monster AAs thinking that the flash will get the best of them. WRONG! I took pictures at a wedding and evening reception and was still going strong. I even shot small video without worry. Yes, I still carry an extra pair of Monster batteries in my pocket, but it is usually to show a fellow digital camera user how great they are.

The Monster brand continues to roll out awesome products. You will not regret getting anything from them, much less, their battery chargers.

As a new parent and a electronics buff, I go through a lot of batteries. Whether it's D cells for the baby's swing or AAs for any of our 14 different remote controls, it seems like I'm always changing batteries on something. I do have some NiMH rechargeables, but these tend not to last long in higher drain devices. I tried out a few of these Monster AA alkalines in a sale from Amazon/Circuit City and so far, I'm impressed.

My DVD-recorder remote (for a Panasonic DMRE100HS) was getting a little sluggish, even from just a few feet away. I popped the batteries into my tester and they looked like they were OK (90%), but on a whim, I tried a fresh pair of Monster AAs and suddenly I can control the DVD recorder from the far corner of the room with no problems! Also, in our son's Gymini playmat (which uses AAs for the music), I've had these Monsters in for weeks and they're still going strong.

I can't say I've done any head-to-head comparisons against the "big two" (Duracell and Energizer), but from my experience so far, I'd say they're at least on par if not better than the coppertops and the bunnies.

Try 'em... you'll like 'em.

This battery pack makes it easier for large-handed folks such a smyself to hold the Nikon Coolpix 5000, especially when using the camera in vertical format. It attaches easily (but it is easy to lose the small detachable connector hatch fromt he camera bottom, so be sure to secure it in the appropriate hollow with a flexible adhesive like rubber cement if you will normally use the battery pack). The pack also allows one to use a variety of fixed charge or rechargable AA batteries, a major boon when the native Lithium Ion batteries become difficult to charge or at the end of their lives. Highly recommended accessory (but it will take up almost as much room in your camera bag as the camera itself.)

The Nikon N80 is a super camera. When I bought mine 6 months ago, the price for this package was more than $700 ... but the prices have come down significantly. Take advantage and buy this camera today!

After I got my camera, and began using it ... my husband liked the results so much that he decided he would shelve his old Canon camera and buy an N80 too. We'd definitely recommend it!

my digital camera ate up batteries like mad. alkaline batteries only lasted 45mins, with lcd off. tried out these batteries. on the first charge the camera lasted 2hrs, with lcd screen on, red eye reduction flash on, at highest resolution. after a few charges they last about 2hrs and 30mins. I have had them for about a month and already saved money on battries. plus with the mach 1 speed charger, only takes 1hr and 20mins to recharge them.

I have this charger (only in black as marketed by Energizer), Specifically, what I like about the unit is that there is no external cord; the plug is built into the unit and folds down for very compact storage. Red light at the bottom goes out when batteries are charged.
