The BQ-390 charger, with its pearlescent white finish and simple lines, is an attractively designed charger. If you were giving this as a gift to your girl friend, it will not look so geeky as the other Sony, Kodak or Maxell chargers you can find on Amazon.com.

Like the Sony Power Charger, it has advanced circuitry inside to monitor charging through temperature, voltage drop, or the cell's internal resistance, so that you'll get fuller charges and less damage from overcharging of simpler chargers. In other words, your NiMH cells will give you better performance as well as a longer service life. This breed of chargers also charge each cell individually, rather than in pairs. Less sophisticated chargers charge in series, so one cell in the pair may not receive full charge, while the other, worse, is overcharged. NiMH, unlike older NiCd's, does not tolerate overcharging. Because they have 3 times the capacity of NiCd's to refill, all at under 2 hours, you can see why chargers are so expensive, and why they're worth it.

Panasonic has recently shifted their cell production from Japan to China, so you might get Chinese cells in the bundle. Still, Sanyo and Panasonic are the 2 major NiMH makers, and you can't go wrong with either. (Sony and GE NiMH cells are all made by Sanyo.)

This charger will only accept 1~2 AAA cells at a time (but 1~4 for AA cells). If you need to charge 4 AAA at a time, look to the Sony Power Charger elsewhere on Amazon.com. It bundles 4 NiMH AA cells made by Sanyo for Sony, but charges more slowly, twice as long as this Panasonic. But that is also why it's somewhat cheaper.

I never thought I would write a review for a car battery adapter, but here I am.

This piece of merchandise is great. I used it in several cars on long road trips and each time it worked like a charm. It fits in cleanly to the Portable DVD Player, giving me a few hours of great entertainment. The price is a bit steep, but personally I find it well worth it. If you don't go on many trips though steer clear! You wouldn't want to spend money on something you'd never use.

If you travel a lot, like to watch DVDs on road trips, or just want to enhance your entertainment, then go with this. If not, I suggest buying an AC-Adapter.

I've owned my Panasonic 2.4v screwdriver for about ten years, albeit unused for the past 5 or so due to lack of fresh NiCd batteries. Anyway, the EY503B was the best lightweight cordless screwdriver you could buy back around 1991, two speed with torque clutch. I used it professionally daily back then and it's versatility and performance always made my job easier. I recently bought fresh batteries and look forward to putting it back into my tool bag.

Outlasts normal batteries for your recording needs. How many times have you lost valuable moments? Well with this battery, you won`t have to worry anymore. The extra time is well worth the extra cost!

The Panasonic KP-4A is the best (yes, best) portable pencil sharpener I have ever seen. I have owned a few in the past, and they never worked very well; they were loud, cut crudely and broke the lead about half the time. The KP-4A cuts better than many desktop shapeners- and I mean better. It is loud, but no more than other models and its sound is more of a mechanical hum than a grinding roar. I would definetely buy this if you ever have situations where you need to write but might not by near a sharpener. I highly recommend this product, and, for its price, why not? :-)

NOTE: If you would need to use this in really quite environments- don't. No portable electric one will be quiet enough so you'll need a manual one.

I think the price on these batteries needs to come down a little bit,I really like my drill ,it does a great job. I could put about 100.00 dollars with the price of the battery and buy a brand new drill and get two new batteries and a charger with it.

After purchasing a Canon Powershot S400 digital camera, I made 2 additional accessory purchases that have kept the camera snapping shots without fail. 1st... purchase a substantial amount of memory (Compact Flash in the case of the S400 model) I recommend 512 MB or 1 GB, to avoid having to carry several cards with less capacity. 2nd, and perhaps more importantly, keep your camera shooting with a powerful battery. The Power 2000 ACD-214 is a champ with tons of power. On average, I have been able to shoot 200+ shots (some with the fill-flash) without swapping batteries or a recharge. I have gone days on vacation or hours at a party without worry. This is an investment in "peace of mind" that you will be ready for any recordible moment.

I purchased the recharger and Quest NiMH batteries for my digital camera. Using the LCD/flash, the batteries lasted for 115 pictures (4 MP, fine quality). They charge overnight and have a display light for a completed charge. They are my best set of batteries and I'm planning on replacing all of my other rechargeables with this brand.

RCA is simply put "Top Notch" in its ranking ahead of the Worlds Electronics Manufacturers. RCA always is and will be taking the lead in their stronghold of endevours for the consumer. By putting the RCA Name on an Alkaline Battery is a class act and by doing so confirms their confidence in the superior product produced. Awesome Battery! Way to Go RCA!

The RCA Lyra and Lyra2 will flawlessly charge these batteries right inside the player. If you have a Lyra/Lyra2 then you really need to get these batteries.

I usually listen to my Lyra2 for most of the day with the batteries then I plug it in and listen to it at night while it's charging.
