Very good general purpose flashlightThe light is brigth with fresh batteries, but the light dims quite fast as the batteries are used. The light bulb heats up with constant use, and that can melt a hole into the plastic lens. That has happened twice to me, as the light has been clicked on accidentally without me noticing that. The light beam is adjustable, but when adjusted wide, there are some serious dark rings on the beam. The body of the flashlight is covered with rubber sleeve. I like the feel of that, although it is possible that the flashlight can stick to clothing when removed from pocket, but I haven't any problems like that.
This flashlight is a very good choice for general purpose flashlight, and the price is reasonable. It is not suitable for a tactical light (for law enforcement, for example), mainly because it has no momentary switch.
That's 6,500 Candlepower alright!
Bright Light in a Small PackagePowered by 2, 3-volt lithium batteries this flashlight is pretty small (both in diameter and length). You'll be amazed how such a small flashlight can light up a room or an object at night.
The pushbutton switch is on the bottom of the light, so that might take getting used to. It's a three function switch (on/off/momentary on). The body of the flashlight is coated with rubber, so it's easy to grip if your hands are wet. However, this makes it difficult to bring out if you keep it in your pants pocket or a holster.
The beam quality is nice: no "holes" or "rings" in the spotlight.
Pluses: small size, bright light, manufacturer with good reputation for quality, lithium batteries have 10 year shelf life.
Minues: Takes 3-Volt lithium batteries (can be expensive), flashlight is fairly expensive.
This is a good light to keep in the car glove compartment for emergencies because it's small and the lithium batteries will keep for a long time.
Would I buy this again? Yes, but because of the cost I would make sure that I don't lose it.

Great product with one key flawOK, here is the key flaw. This unit is advertised as being a great item for home or home-office computers. Problem: Its alarm starts to beep - quite loudly - ANY time the power goes out. I find this really inappropriate for a piece of electronics. My power is reasonably reliable, but like most people, we have occasional outages. In fact, my local utility likes to service the lines in the middle of the night.
Do I really need a loud beeper to wake up the family every time we have a 10 minute outage at 3am?
APC really needs to add a control to deactivate or otherwise control the alarm.
Great Product--Exceeded My ExpectationsAnd the alarm CAN be controlled. It can be shut off entirely. It can also be set to remain silent when the PC is off or hibernating. It can also be set to remain silent between a given hour and another given hour.

- Extended lithium battery for Canon ZR series camcorders
- Provides up to 5 hours and 10 minutes of shooting time

Essential for ZR Series camcordersThe battery that came with my ZR45MC is woefully inadequate for anything but a handful of brief cameo shots. Also, the charge doesn't hold for any extended period of time. You may pull out your ZR to catch a great moment in time only to find that the battery has discharged while idle in the camera bag. Not using the LCD does help the situation quite a bit.
This extended battery makes a good primary battery and seems to go more than twice as long as the normal one. Also, you can then use the original as a backup (as long as you refresh it's charge occassionally :-) ).

Good Product - Poor compatibility Information
High capacity (lots of power), a little heavy thoughThis energizer NiMH battery is great - there's no memory effect so you don't have to run it down before charging it again. On my Hi8 camcorder, I've used it for over 4 hours of recording and it had power left when I put my camcorder away.
I'd definitely recommend this battery for those who are planning on doing recording of events where multiple camcorder tapes will be used - this battery will last through a few of them. With this battery, I don't feel the need to have a backup in case it runs out because . .. well . .. it just doesn't run out.
It is a bit on the heavy side though, so if you have a smaller camcorder or if you will be handholding the camcorder for a while, I'd recommending going with slimmer battery. This adds quite a bit of weight to the camera, so be prepared to carry that weight with you wherever you go.
Overall, this battery deserves 5 stars because it does what a battery is supposed to do. Though its weight is its only issue, that can't be helped because the dense cells inside the battery are what allow the battery to hold so much charge.

- Charge up to 4 AA batteries in just one hour
- Compatible with NiMH and NiCad rechargeable batteries, both AA and AAA sizes
- Includes four AA-size Kodak Max NiMH rechargeable batteries, with no memory effect

be careful !Careful on 2 fronts:
1. The charger used to be made by Sanyo & is no longer true. They are made in china but the quality seems to be very acceptable.
2. Can charge 4AAs & only 2 AAAs. But you can all do 6 at the same time.
3. It charging time depends on mah rating. It charges in 1 hr for 800mah AAA. It takes 2 hours or so for 2100mah. But stil it is worth it !!!!!!!!!!!!

Works but I agree that it's terribly pricey! This new battery is great and I appreciate the other reviewer's mention of luggage inspection machines perhaps being a problem. I'll try to keep this battery out of harm's way now that I know what might harm it!
Works, but pricey with ???...I bought this battery to replace a Sony NP-F330 that came with my Sony camera. That battery started experiencing problems only one year after purchase. I noticed that the battery seemed to jump from 90 min of battery life to, suddenly, 0 min left. This only atarted to occur after my luggage went through those metal detectors at the airport. The security people said that it was possible that all lithium batteries, not just Sony, could be ruined as a result of going through airport security. Since the time I've bought this new battery, I have not gone to the airport, so I don't know if this battery gets ruined also. But just beware, going on vacation could ruin your...battery.
I haven't seen this problem in other reviews, so it might just happen to me. Who knows...
Other than that problem, this battery has no problem charging, being used, etc. I just don't think that a battery should cost almost half the price of the camera itself. Oh well...

Good
The amazing camcorder battery
everything you could want in a battery!
With this product this is no longer an issue. AA batteries are available everywhere. I think it is a bit over priced, but the first time it saves your [tail], you won't feel so bad springing for it!
