What a Gimmick!!
I did not know which unit to buy for my Home Theatre, so I thought what the hell, I'll buy all of them, try them and see which ones works the best. Not being surprised with the results, I saw NO significant change in sound or picture on the 2600, 3600, or the 5100. But, I still kept the 2600 as it did look nice on my rack and it does protect from surges on your coax lines as well as your AC outlets. If you want a really good surge protector, then this is what to get, but don't expect any changes in your sound or picture.

Great Product!
I bought this as extra protection for my Samsung 56 inch DLP and audio system. Compared to using a normal surge protector, the Monster HTS 2600 indeed provided a clearer picture, cleaning up the snow and artifacts. I haven't really tested out the audio yet. It's good for peace of mind, as I want to protect my expensive investment.

YOU SHOULD BUY THIS BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE.
YES I BOUGHT THE HTS 5000 but I can not get over the improved
picture quality on my tv set,I bought it for my high output audio
and home theater system.who would think the AC power coming thought our outlets would be so unstable.GO to monster cable.com
and pick the unit that best fits your needs. they have many units. My unit has 4 filters and you can plug up to 10 different
items and you have your surge protection for everything plugged
into this unit. you will be able to tell a big difference even in
the models under the 5000.

Exactly what you would expect (in a good way)
An exact copy of the extra cap battery I bought with my timeport two years ago. Hold a good charge and does what you want.
My last battery is still pretty good (about 65% of what the new battery does) and I use it very often. I expect the same of this one.

Good battery
I use about 2000 mins/month talk time and leave my phone on 24 hrs/day. Some of this time I am in an analog roaming area, which tends to eat up the battery in standby (and certainly while talking). However, generally I can go all day without charging the battery. This Slim Extra Capacity battery came with my Timeport 8097 (I think Motorola is including this with all phones now) and I estimate it gives about 2hr talktime & maybe 3-4 day standby on a digital signal. Probably about a 60 min talktime and 14hr standby on analog. Charge the phone whenever convenient (i.e., while driving or overnight) and you can't go wrong. Buy an extra one just in case your original wears out on you.

Battery for days
No memory, and hassle free battery. Charging time a bit lengthy (3h) but than it last forever. Why don't they sell it with it and have satisfied customers

A better option than the Act400
Smaller and less noisy than the Act400. I managed to trade my Act400 for this for the weekend to try out, and found it much better for sporting activity.

Great - but a few setbacks
B"H

ok - listen up - this piece it great - it is really small and the sound is perfect it also has amazing antiskip.

pros:
small size
anti skip
remote
id3 tag
case

cons: (this is the setbacks)
battery life STINKS!!!!!!!
the LCD is not backlit
remote doesn't have id3 tag
the price

basically this is a great piece - if you care about the size.

i suggest you get the gamecube CD carrying case - it is a perfect match.

enjoy - but think about it

Best sound quality/durability of any portable I've owned
The Nike Sport ACT300 is built by Philips for Nike. I've found this a pretty tough and excellent sounding portable. So tough I brought it to Iraq with me and used it throughout my year-long stay there.

Drawbacks? There are a few. The battery life is terrible and the lack of AM/FM is something that I wish would be remedied. The absolute worst drawback is the difficulty in placing and extracting the AA batteries. Terrible, especially considering the thought put into the rest of the design.

On the positive side sound quality is excellent for a portable cd player, the anti-skip works well and it gives the user several options such as repeat and shuffle. The Nike's build quality is also of a much higher standard then even most "sports walkman" players.

I highly recommend the Nike ATC300.

Buyer beware - it's not an AC adapter.
There isn't much information on the detail page, so it's very easy to make the mistake I made and think that it's an AC adapter for the Zaurus. It's not. You have to take the battery -out- of the Zaurus to charge it with this charger. That forces the Zaurus onto backup-battery power, which doesn't last long. So this charger is completely useless unless you want to buy a second battery, which is another fifty bucks.

if you get the extra battery -- get this too!
dont buy an extra battery for your Zaurus if you dont also get this. You'll always have a charged battery if you get this plus an extra battery (of course you need to be sure to put the drained battery in the charger!)

Elegant in its simplicity
This charger is great, it has a single plug cord (identical to the one used with the power supply that comes with the Zaurus) and a small charging block that the battery snaps into. An LED indicates charging status (on its charging, off its done). It couldn't be simpler. My only complaint is that sharp uses a battery that can be inserted upside-down, this isn't the fault of the charger, you can do the same thing in your handheld.

    Are used batteries cheaper?
I see the "buy used" buttons - anyone try the used batteries?

    Pricey, but worth it
I tried these batteries in my calculator. I always end up leaving my calculator in my car where it gets cold, and soon the batteries die. It's a habit I can't break, so when I read that these batteries resist cold temperatures, I tried them. They lasted much longer than regular batteries. My sister also tried them in her digital camera and was impressed.

    Long-lasting
As a student who is very involved in clubs and organizations, I always want to have my digital camera at hand to capture unforgettable moments with my friends or the places that I visit.

When it comes to cameras, digital cameras are the worst with battery power. When I first got my camera, the pair of double A batteries that came with it only lasted an hour. I then bought a brand new pack later, and those also were unusable within 60 minutes.

This was going to be a major problem. I bought a pack of special Olympus Lithium batteries (very expensive and hard to find at the time) which lasted, at max, two and a half weeks.

Finally, I found a pack of Energizer Lithium batteries. I stuck them in my camera and expected them to last about five days. To my surprise, this pack of four batteries lasted me a whole month of road trips and hang-outs.

These batteries are long-lasting, reliable, very light, and inexpensive. I was very satisfied with the performance of these batteries, and I hope this review helped you in your decision or search.

    The spring breaks on freeplay
The freeplay radio is a great idea: wind it up and it plays for one hour. No more batteries! A great conversation piece! The perfect radio for emergencies! The problem is, I have had two freeplay radios and the spring broke in both of them after only a few months of usage. In the radio with a solar cell to recharge the battery, the solar cell overheated in the Florida sun and became useless. I couldn't return them as I didn't have the receipt. Bummer. Not for daily use as they don't last (at least mine didn't). Keep one for emergencies, the beach, camping.

    GREAT PRODUCT
I GOT ONE OF THESE SEVERAL YEARS AGO WHEN THEY WERE BRIGHT COLORED PLASTIC...I TAKE IT TO THE BEACH..TO THE YARD..ON VACATION..ETC. TRY IT YOULL LIKE IT

Light and small, like the camera.
One of these chargers is supplied with the Canon S100/Ixus, but it's good to have a spare. (when you really need one in a few years, they'll be out of production). Like the camera, this charger is really small (same size as camera) and even lighter.

Note that on the US version of the charger (this one), two US-style AC pins flip out from the body of the charger, so you need an unobstructed socket to plug it into. On the European model you plug a cable into the figure-of-8 connector on the side, handy if you want to change cable for a different country. Both models work on all voltages.

    essential for on-the-go shooters
if you need to use your camera on-the-go, then i totally recommend a spare charger and battery for the s100. the battery is a proprietary form, so you can't simply walk into a corner store and pick one up!

You have (almost) no other choice, but a decent buy anyway
The CB2LT is the charger that comes standard with the Canon Powershot S-series cameras (S30/40/45/50) and charges the proprietary NB-2L battery. Thus, you MUST buy the NB-2L (see my review of the Canon NB-2L) for your camera and MUST use a CB-2LT charger. This review is almost moot b/c there is only one other charger I've found, other than the one manufactured by Canon, but maybe you are checking out the charger as part of the decision whether to buy the Powershot, so I'll say a few words...

The design is perfectly fine: very lightweight, compact enough to fit into a modest size camera bag and it charges the NB-2L battery in about an hour give or take (charge time is mostly a function of the charger). It has flip out plugs (2-pin, non-polarized if that matters to you, and it may if you live in a real old building or outside the US) that fold back into the body - there is no cord, it plus directly into the wall socket. And thus, the only potential for design improvement. Most outlets are placed low to the ground, so to recharge your batteries, you must either stoop down or hook it up to an extension cord, but then it won't sit too well on a desktop. There is one other manufacturer, and the only one I've found, that makes a CB2LT compatible charger that is a desktop charger - it comes w/ an A/C adapter and sits nicely on the desktop. I'll be nice and not mention where to get it but look around on the web, you'll probably find it.

If you go with the Canon charger, amazon's price is pretty competitive (as of this writing).

    Another fine design from Canon
After exhaustive research, I settled on a Canon S40 digital camera and have been extremely satisfied thus far. I originally considered upgrading to add an AC connection for the camera while uploading images, but have found this compact and lightweight charging mechanism well thought out and executed. The electric plugs fold neatly into the main body of the charger, and there's little weight or bulk for packing. Might be a worthwhile purchase for a spare.

    very good buy
I have one of these Canon Snappy camera's.... and I am very pleased with the photo's I have got with this camera. You cant go wrong, buying this camera, except that it is zoomless, and you need a good expensive film, for best results.

    GOOD PICTURES, BUT FRAGILE
The Canon Snappy is compact, takes brilliant and sharp pictures (it has a high quality lens), and the auto-manual flash feature is very useful, but the lens cover tends to fall when you pull it to start shooting photographs, this is very unpleasant when you are climbing a mountain or crossing a river. The worst thing with this terrible design problem is that the lens cover is also the ¡MAIN SWITCH!, so if the cap disapears, you will be unable to turn the device off and protect the lens. It is very difficult to put the cover in the camera again. The Snappy works well in domestic situations but I would better buy the NIKON NICE TOUCH.

1/10 Watt difference for hearing aids
I have found that a #393 watch battery is the same size as a #13 hearing battery. In the old days the regular wattage for a hearing battery was also 1.5 watt. Now the standard hearing battery lowered to 1.4 watt. The #393 tremendously helps me with one of my hearing aids. Eveready and Duracell still continues to be the top two competitors in the battery business.

    Now watt a minute here.
In the old days, the common hearing battery in the past used to take 1.5 watt batteries and have now lowered it to 1.4 watt. I have tried the #393 watch battery to replace the #13 hearing aid battery. It helped me incredibly with understanding words. I believe this minute 0.1 watt difference would not damage any hearing. The Eveready Energizer battery, I must add, still lives up to its name.
