If you have a vehicle with side battery terminals, then you NEED this product.

I recommend getting two; one for the positive and one for the negative. It makes it easier to connect (and disconnect) amplifiers and other 12 volt gear.

I used a pair on every General Motors vehicle I have previously owned.

I picked up this charge in combination with my Nikon 3100 camera. Since the battery it came with lasted a whole hour, I thought that the rechargeable would be a better option.

It ended up being a yes and no. Yes, this thing is tiny, so it is easy to travel, carry and store. Yes it does charge in about 2 1/2 hours.

Only problem is, after 2 hours of charging you get about 15-30 minutes worth of usuage.

My recommendation is to go ahead and buy this, but get several pairs of batteries. This way you will have atleast one set ready to go, when the others die unexpectantly.

I measure this battery with tester it has 950mAh which takes a lot of photos than the Ni-MH AA. Just take a 2nd one for travel instead of a box of AA, it is a good idea to come with the new compact Oly cameras.

I bought this particular charger a few years ago when I bought my digital camera (back when rechargeable batteries were between 1200 and 1600 mAh - now they're 2100 mAh.) While this charger worked as specified and was reliable, I've outgrown it, but will retain mine. I upgraded this week to the Engergizer 30-Minute charger (item CH30MN) for $27.00 - less than what this overnight charger is listed for. This 30-min charger was necessary, since I don't use my camera a little at a time - I use it a LOT at a time - so a 30 minute charger was a necessity so I could have 6 sets of batteries charged up for a photo outting without having to remember to start the charging process a week in advance!

Bottom line: it works well, but, like computers, now you can get better for less.

This is a battery for Panasonic digital camcorders. The battery is also a Panasonic brand. This battery charges quickly, and holds a charge well.

Like most batteries, you will notice the battery dies quite quickly if you use the LCD screen. This is kind of a vicious circle: You bought the camcorder because of the nice LCD screen, but you are hesitant to use it because the battery dies so quickly. A happy medium may be to buy a camcorder with a color viewfinder.

All in all, a good battery, and a good value.

There is no real information on this product on Panasonic's, Amazon's, or J&R's web site, so here goes.

I purchased this battery as a spare for my Panasonic DVD-LS50 portable DVD player (ASIN B00021Z98A). The package says that it's for the DVD-LS50 and the LS55. I don't know anything about the LS55, but this battery is identical to the one that comes with the LS50 - same shape, color, and size, same model number, same labels. I had to mark mine in order to tell them apart.

The package says that this battery provides 2.5 - 4 hours of power, but it really is just 2.5 hours. I can't see how it's possible to stretch that to 4 hours, which is why I bought this spare. You won't be able to watch 2 regular movies with just one battery.

The battery can only be charged when it's inserted into the DVD player, so it's not possible to charge this battery while using the other one to watch a movie. According to the manual, recharge time is 4 hours for the LS50 and 7 hours for the LS55.

I bought this battery at the same time I bought my DVD player, so I didn't know what I was getting. If you're doing the same thing, then let me describe the battery. It's 7x1x1.5 inches in size. It's actually smaller than that, but the shape is too hard to describe. Suffice it to say that you'll have no problem carrying this battery with you.

I gave this battery 4 stars instead of 5 because I think it's too expensive. It costs the same as a universal battery, but the only advantage it has is that it's smaller.

This battery is rated to last one hour 15 minutes of usage. However, if you use the digital camcorder's LCD screen at all, you can cut that time in half.

Therefore, unless you only record thirty minutes at a time, this battery probably doesn't have enough juice for you. I would recommend the CGRD16A/1B, which is about $100 bucks. That battery has about three hours rated usage, or 1.5 if you use the LCD screen. That is enough time for all but the heaviest user.

If .75 hours is enough for you, then this is a good battery that retains a charge well.

This battery may be a case of too much of a good thing. Unless you are a very heavy user of your camcorder, 4.5 hours (which is what you will get if you use your LCD screen) is probably more than you will need.

For half the price, I would recommend the CGRD16A/1B, which has three hours of rated usage, or 1.5 with the LCD screen.

If you need this much battery life, be aware that this is a big battery that will stick out of the back of your camcorder quite a bit.

That said, this is a very good battery that retains a charge quite well.

This battery is an excellent replacement for the type "C" battery that shipped with the drill. It is a third again larger and slightly heavier than the original (which some may consider a disadvantage) but provides more torque and longer run time. Highly recommended

I'm using these in a digital camera and they are working great. The 1950mA is not significantly less than the 2000mA monter cable AA batteries, yet the price of these is about 1/2 of what the monsters go for. Buy 2 sets of these instead!
