I've been using Maxell recording products (tape, cd-r, etc.) for the last 20 years, but decided to try this TDK product when I saw it was about half the price of the Maxell equivalent. I've been very pleased with it. Haven't burned a coaster yet. In fact I liked it so much, I'm ordering another spindle!

Because DVD recording is so new, when selecting DVD+Rs (or DVD-Rs for that matter), it is generally advised that one should start small: Because some DVD players may have some trouble playing some brands of recordable DVDs it is best to start by buying a small sample of blank DVDs and trying that brand out on your home's various DVD players to ensure that they all play it back fine.

I tried out these 4x TDK DVD+Rs and they worked fine in all of my household's DVD players, so I've stuck with this brand and made about 50 DVD+Rs, all at 4x speed, with only one bad disc so far (and that may have been my fault).

These TDK's have a frosted top with subtle TDK logos which are not distracting. Contrary to some reports, these are not made in Japan, they are Taiwanese, however they seem every bit as good as Japanese made ones.

Once you choose this brand/make, they will be easy to find when shopping because TDK's packaging for this particular style has a photo of a puppy dog on the front. Easy to remember. They come in spindles as well as in various wasteful packaging configurations.

Nothing much to say about them. They're high quality high speed rewritable discs that do what they are supposed to do. I've been using these kind of rewritable discs for a while now and I haven't had any problems with them what so ever even when I burn at higher than 10x. They come with cases too so you won't have to worry about scratching the CDs.

I've been an enthusiastic cassette user for quite some time and the TDK SA is one of my favorites. I have a fairly high-quality 3-head Aiwa tape deck and its outstanding frequency response and dynamic range allow me to evaluate my recordings pretty well considering that I am not an audio professional. The performance of the TDK SA far exceeds that of TDK's D-series or Maxell's UR-series cassettes, though most users will not fully appreciate this without decent recording and playback equipment. I use TDK SA and SA-X exclusively for my CD recordings, but I've heard that the Maxell equivalents, the XL-II and XL-IIS, are quite good as well.

With this inexpensive single disk you cant go wrong at just over a dollar this product is a definite buy. I found this great because i wanted to test out the brand name without spending 30 dollars and as it turned out it worked great and i bought more.

Amazon really needs to do a better job of listing and describing Verbatim CD-Rs! The Verbatim list is an absolute mess!In case you're wondering, yes, these are DataLifePlus...which are the ones you use for data or digital photography. You can burn music on them, but I use the Verbatim vinyl ones for that. These are the ones I use for digital photography. I bought them because they seem to be the ones PC Photo always mention in their CD burning articles as being the very best CD-Rs for photo archiving. I burn hundreds of photos on them at 52x with my Iomega external CD burner in just a few minutes.I don't think Amazon has the best price on them, and it doesn't look like you get free shipping, or that Amazon itself even carries them...but I really can't tell, because as I said in the beginning, their Verbatim list is a mess, and leaves out important product description! I got mine at eBay, but no longer buy there...but still have at least 75 left...hopefully, when I run out, Amazon will have a lower price...and a more organized Verbatim list!

These cases are durable and colorful! None of that dull black or transparent stuff. They're made from the company that makes the best CD-Rs, Verbatim. Definitely snag the 100pk of the ValueLife CD-Rs. They're great because they have no logos or typing on the front of the Disc. So, if you want to make labels, there's no risk of anything showing through. Plus, the CDs are of such high quality. I've never had a problem with any of them and I've purchased at least 300 Verbatims by now. If you're looking for the 100pk, I recommended it in addition to this product above. Don't clutter up your CD rack with bulky, brittle, and dull jewel cases. Use these!

No errors after 20+ burns up to 16x. No problems with compatibility with CD players, DVD players, or car audio. An excellent value.

When buying these CDs, I was concerned about how well the Avery labels would stick to them. They have no problem whatsoever and work great. Of about 25 CDs I've used, only 2 have been bad thus far. I highly recommend these CDs because they are by far the best I have used.
