THUMBS DOWN
I do not reccomend this tape. Unreliable. I purchase this and had a lot of trouble with the sound. At first I thought it was my camera. I went out and bought Sony mini DV tapes and they work fine. With that, I reccomend purchasing another brand.

Fine. No problems.
I'm not exactly an expert on film quality, but I had no problems with this Digital Videocassette. It recorded just fine in my Panasonic camera. Just pay attention to how many you are ordering. I thought for some reason I was ordering a three-pack. But there was only one. My mistake.

Hey with a brand like fuji its got to be good
Get tape good quality at a good price. Buy this blank tape.

Extremely Disappointed
It appears these music CD-Rs do not work on most home CD players. I can only get them to work in my computer and in my car CD player (and that doesn't play back as great a quality as I'd like). I thought these would work since I had previously bought JVC Audio CD-Rs which are awesome. I won't bother with these again and unfortunately, I bought two spindles!

Awesome Playbility
I have tried a handful of different CD-R's in the past few years, and these have the best quality. Memorex did a great job with these black CD-Rs.

The black colour on them looks great, as well.

I use these to burn audio cds, and every track sounds as crisp and clear as on the original cd. Another advantage to these are that you can see dust on them perfectly, so they are easier to maintain. There are absolutely no problems I have encountered with these cds, I highly recommend them.

Try the 10-Pack..
I wanted to try this Memorex CD-R, 80 Minute in the 10-pk box before committing to a 50-Pk spindle. I've had nothing but good luck with these CD-R's. (Not a coaster in the bunch!!)
If you aren't sure about getting that 50-pk spindle, go on and order the 10-Pack. Give them a try and (if you are as satisfied as I am with their performance) order that 50-pk spindle..you won't be disappointed!!

    These CD's are TERRIBLE
These CD's are TERRIBLE and I hate them. They don't work well at all for scratching on turntables, but they should since they are vinyl.

    dual action!
these nifty retro-looking 700MB CD-R's are fickle little buggers. they copied fine on my HP burner (YAY!), but my Compaq burner spit'em back out like so many lukewarm Christians. fortunately, the record-like grooves could not have been more perfectly designed for capturing the condensation of cold drinks. yes sir, these CD-R's will either provide you with 80 minutes of sweet, sweet sound, or will save your furniture from unsightly rings. either way you can't lose!

    Good CDs
I bought a 10 pack of these CDs. I've found that they not only look cool but they work well too. I have only used 5 of them so far but they all burned on my Phillips CD Burner without a problem. I would definately consider getting another pack of these.

    Shameful and Degrading
Let me start by correcting the name of the product. It is a 210 MB / 24 minute CD-R spindle. I went to Europe with my CD Mavica and this exact item. It is now a little over a month after my return, and several disks (containing our trip to London and a friend's wedding) no longer work in my computer or camera. It seems the data is degrading from the disks. Luckily, we gave copies of the wedding pictures to the bride, so we'll get those back. London, however is only captured in memory anymore. I should have known. Memorex. . .memory + ex. "ex" comes from the Latin for "out of, from." You get the picture. Unless you took it with a memorex disk.

    misprint
I think that it is supposed to say "21 minute" not "210 minute" in case anyone else was confused about that. And it should probably be changed. I just did three stars because I have no feelings about the product either way being that I did not buy it.

    Compact and convienient
I've been using these disks for all manner of uses for quite some time now...they're great for putting your resume and other info onto and bringing to job interviews, for example....and have yet to have come across any of the disk/data corruption issues mentioned.

Great price for the tape, except there is no button or item to click to purchase it. Is this a joke?

    Site maintained by crazed monkeys!
I'd also love to buy one of these gems at this price, but alas no buy button. They'll sell me a used tape, however at two times the price. Grrrrrrr. I give this item 5 stars out of a posible Carl Sagan Billions and Billions.

    Its a sony product
I bought two Sony 120 Minute Hi8 casettes for my sharp camcorder. I used it over the long weekend. The recording was just phenomenal. On playback,it seems as if all the events happen again. It is a must buy.

    unreliable discs
I burn about 50 CDs a week in live music trades. I can tell you from experience that these discs do not last. After a year or so, they start to skip more and more and have all sorts of problems. Any scratches that they have only make it worse. I recommend using Sony, Fuji, or TDK. All the others are cheaply made in comparison and just don't stand the test of time. So if you care about preserving your CDs, don't use these ones.

    Best on the market
For me these have been the best CD's on the market. I basically used this brand because they were the ones I generally used when transferring my albums to cassette. The same quality continues.

I personally never liked using Fuji or Sony recording media in the past. TDK wasn't bad with cassettes; however, my record with CD-R's with them has been 25 wasted discs out of a spindle of 50. I have so far used hundreds of the Maxells (this line and their others) and have only had one or two discs I had to discard due to errors.

Also, all the ones I made a few years ago still sound great.

These are the best CD-R's for both price and performance.

great product, works very well for me
I was surprised to see the results the prior reviewer had in using these music CD-Rs. I have been using the Maxell CD-Rs for three years and I have never had a problem. The home audio CD Recorder that I use is the Sony RCD-W1 and I get a perfect copy every time with the Maxell CD-Rs. I know some CD burners on PCs can use music/audio CD-Rs to make copies but I know that there are occasional burn/read errors when using them. In that situation, I suggest sticking to regular CD-Rs. I have a stack of burned Maxell CD-Rs that I am alwasys listening to in my car and to date play flawlessly.

    BEWARE!!!!!!
These ... people at Memorex did not even make these compatible for all CD Recorders,so dont waste your money! Especially if you have a Phillips recorder. Those derilects burnt me man!

    A Great Value!
This is a great price for a CD-R 100 pack and the quality is outstanding. I too have a Phillips Home CD Recorder. What I found was the CD-R's are for recording off of my computer and the Music CD-R's are for recording on my Home Audio CD Recorder. However, the computer CD-R's play on any home/car/portable CD player. I also found the Music CD-R's will record on both the computer and Home Audio CD recording system.

    Not All Home Recorders
These didn't work on my Pioneer Home CD Recorder. The recorder rejected them as "Pro Discs," implying that they weren't properly encoded for the SCMS chip...

Great and Groovy Retro-Look CD-R's! FAR OUT, MAN!
These Verbatim 80 minute/700MB Digital Vinyl CD-R's are THE grooviest things to hit the market for people OVER 30 that actually REMEMBER the old 45 RPM vinyl singles!

A recordable disc designed after the popular and groovy 45-rpm record format with a black and white label that you can print or buy Verbatim's #B0000TFC9A and print up some 70's look labels! Or, Verbatim now has a 10 pack of METAL vinyl CD-R's - #B0001CJCCO. 5 of Gold and 5 of platinum. Or a color coded 10 pack - #B00006SCKB. ALSO VERY GROOVALICIOUS!

All of these eye-catching discs are a great way to save LP collections, burn your personal music mix or even make a FAR OUT business presentation.

These CD-R's include Verbatim's original Azo Blue technology for superior audio writing performance on CD burners and broad read compatibility on car CD players, home audio systems, and portable CD players. Digital Vinyl CD-R's are protected with a dual-layer anti-scratch coating that safeguards data for years to come and are backed by Verbatim's Lifetime Warranty.

I have bought and burned over 75 of these great CD-R's and haven't had problem ONE with them. They are a GREAT and FUN product!

So grab a 50 pack and enjoy the look of a blast from the past!

      Highly RECOMMENDED!

      Happy Burning!

Great product and great as a gift.....
If you buy the 25 pack there are assorted colors, but the 50 pack only comes with the plain B & W labels. My girlfriend and I bought a 25 and a 50 to give out at our wedding and they are just what we were looking for. Just be careful if you want the mulit-color by the 25 packs or for the B & W buy the 50.

The worst CD-R I ever bought!
I bought 10 of TDK CD-R74 with jewel cases, they worked fine. But when I [got] the spindle pack , The TDK CD-Rs I...were lighter and thinner than the ones I bought previously.
      I had 100% failure with these CD-Rs.

      TDK aka Ritek
These TDK branded CDR's are made by Ritek. Don't be fooled, go try out another brand. These TDK's are not reliable because they are manufactured at a factory not known for high quality CDR's.

      Quality, reliable CD-R media
I burn a lot of stuff, from data archives to mp3-ripped music. Though a lot of my data ends up on CD-RW's (I download the newest Linux .iso images as they come out, back up my system, etc and do it again the next week), whenever I permanently record something I prefer it be on TDK CD-Rs. Why? I have used TDK, Imation, Memorex, and generic CD-R's in the 3 years since I got a burner, and only the TDK and Imations have lasted without a single disk dying. I cannot vouch as forcefully for the Imations because I only have a few of them, but I have a lot of TDK's, and not one has failed me yet.

I just bought this exact spindle, and after burning half the disks, I can say the TDK experience hasn't changed, and I expect the same life out of these that I've gotten out of countless TDK's in the past. Want your burns to last? Use TDK.
