Questionable reliability, frustrating supportMy JumpGear MP3 worked with one JumpDrive Sport (512MB) but not with another (256MB). Both JumpDrives work with my PC (although only through a USB hub, neither was recognized by the primary USB ports, but that's another story).
So, three Lexar products, two "good" JumpDrives but one doesn't work with the JumpGear. For a product that invites you to swap multiple JumpDrives in and out, this is a real problem. Prime suspect would be either the JumpGear USB connector or the JumpDrive 256 USB connector -- but unless both connectors are good for the long haul, this product will not live up to its promise.
Lexar Customer Support did call back, as promised, spent most of their time attempting to replicate the problem on their end, and offering to replace the JumpGear if it did't work with their JumpDrive (a 50/50 proposition, based on my experience). They are only authorized to handle RMAs. They are not equipped (or interested) to figure out what was wrong.
Was it worth it?1. It is difficult to access the menu (to change backlighting, etc). Anyone else have this issue?
2. When using the play music randomly, it's not very random. My wife was real disappointed in that.
But for $40 for the player and $25 for the swappable USB memory pretty good deal.

Iomega disks, what a joke...On top of all this, Iomega disks are way too expensive for being such a bad product. I even had to ask an Iomega technician what I was doing wrong. After going over possible scenerios of what I've might of done, we both concluded it wasn't me but indeed there was something wrong with the disks.
My advice is to stay away from Iomega disks and all other Iomega products and go with CD-RW disks of any brand. They store more info, are much cheaper and are much more reliable.
Great Product

Not the real McCoyNow, I'm not saying that the disks were bad, for the problems could have been external. However, it did make a bad first impression on me, and because of my profession, I will no longer buy these disks if I'm working on a project that requires multi-platform capability. However, for use at home, where I own a PC, the Fuji disk is adequate.
ADDENDUM - Almost three years after writing the original review for this item, I bought another Fuji ZIP disk at a local discount store. Never intending to use it on a MAC, I found myself having to rely on it recently during a class that I'm taking in Macromedia Flash. Yesterday, when I put the disk into the MAC, it responded with a message that it didn't recognize some of the volumes on the disk. After rebooting, the disk opened and everything was fine. However, the Fuji's performance wasn't reassuring and I will be replacing it with an Iomega disk.
It is so easy to work with.......

These cute disks stink!!!!And thank you Memorex for wasting my time and money!
The Best Diskette
Worked fine for me...Anyway: I used them to take digital photos. The computer made some different noises than I've ever heard when I put the disks in, but they worked fine!
You're getting a lot for your money so I don't see why people complain. After recycling disks for what seems like forever, and dealing with faulty spots on the disks, these new ones seem awesome :-)
