Good camera

Necessary item for lenses, macro light... but should it be?
- Prevents bright light from hitting the LCD
- Allows for better viewing in bright light situations
- For exclusive use with the Coolpix 4500

One answer to shading your LCDA hood is the answer. This one comes with a thin frame bracket. You attach it to the perimeter of the camera's LCD. You have to peel away a paper coating that reveals a sticky coating. Just press the frame in place (Nikon provides two brackets).
The hood has a tab on the top and bottom. You just snap it into the bracket when you need to use it. I found that it stays tight. The only problem you may have is where to store the hood. Nikon claims you can press it flat. You can, but when you wish to use it again, it is somewhat out of shape. You have to work it a bit before it's rectangular again. I just don't fold mine.

- Batteries exclusively used by Nikon 2100 and 3100 Coolpix cameras (not included)
- Quick battery charger for Nikon EN-MH1 rechargeable NiMH batteries
- Color lamp indicates charging status
- Approximately 2.5 hour charging time
- 71 inch power cord

Good size but short lifeIt ended up being a yes and no. Yes, this thing is tiny, so it is easy to travel, carry and store. Yes it does charge in about 2 1/2 hours.
Only problem is, after 2 hours of charging you get about 15-30 minutes worth of usuage.
My recommendation is to go ahead and buy this, but get several pairs of batteries. This way you will have atleast one set ready to go, when the others die unexpectantly.

- Keep a spare battery ready to capture once in a lifetime shots

1st Li-ion battery for Oly
- This 26mm eyepiece is ideal for all types of telescopes: reflector, refractor, and catadioptric
- Offers a 50 degree apparent field of view for clear, sharp images of impressively high contrast
- Fully coated with magnesium fluoride on every air-to-glass surface
- Excels for low power scanning of open star clusters and viewing of nebulas and larger galaxies
- One-year limited warranty

Great Economical Eyepiece
- This crosshair finder makes aiming your telescope easy by showing an upright, non-reversed image
- Right-angle design lets you view in comfort. No more crouching or craning your neck.
- Powerful 9x magnifying power, 50mm-diamter objective lenses and 5-degree field of view
- Fully coated, achromatic glass optics yield crisp, bright images
- Dovetail foot fits many Orion scopes; optional dovetail base available to fit most non-Orion scopes

Nice, inexpensive upgradeOptically fine though there is some edge distortion. No problem for use as a finder, though. If you've never used a right angle finder before, be warned that initial orientation is little harder than with straight-through finders. I added a zero-power "bulls eye" finder to help with this. This combination makes finding things very easy.

- Orion Moon filter reduces glare so you can see more lunar detail and surface features
- Filter allows transmission of only 13% of the reflected light.
- Orion Moon Filter is especially useful to owners of large-aperture scopes
- Screws into threaded eyepiece barrel. 1.25" diameter

An excellent filter for beginniners!
- Compact 32"x6" Roll-A-Table becomes a sturdy table for your observing equipment
- Features lightweight aluminum frame and a waterproof vinyl-covered wood slat top with side pocket
- Stands 28" high on sturdy aluminum legs and weighs just 10 lbs
- Table surface 32"x32"

useful and sturdier than I imaginedThe design (no cross supports) suggests you shouldn't put heavy side-ways pressure on it. Because of its size, it would seem inviting for kids to sit on, but that seems like a very bad idea.
However, I know someone who has had one for several years and it still looks like it's holding up great.

- Rugged ballistic-style nylon construction
- Extra compartment for Memory Stick Media or batteries
- Padded shoulder strap

Good quality, too big inside for 717/707.Pros:
-Internal material is soft and good quality;
-Inside bag is "L" shaped and Sony camera fits perfectly (for 717 it is little too much space left);
-Top, sides and bottom are covered with thick soft material protecting camera;
-Tight but expandable side pockets;
-Excellent product materials and labor.
Cons:
-No top handle;
-Strap hooks and bag rings (where you attach hooks) are from plastic. Not cheap plastic, but it is plastic. For price range paid metal would be expected;
-Top of bag is from synthetic material, so it puts on doubt about heavy weather conditions;
-There is no zipper under cover so taking bag to beach or other dusty/sandy place when it is windy is not recommended;
-Front pocket is way to small, regular leans cleaning book will not fit there;
-Enough space just for one extra battery;
-For my 717 (same as 707 in terms of size) there is way too much space inside;
Conclusion:
This item is good if you have few filters, one extra battery, mini (pocket size - smallest one) tripod and few memory sticks. And there is no more space for anything else. I would rate bag as 'easy pick bag' rather that 'take it all bag'.
