I bought this item thinking that I could use the included battery. Unfortunately the battery only functions when connected to the adapter. What's the point of that?

I guess the reason for using a DC coupler in same slot as the battery pack is to save space, although it would be more convenient to have it built-in to the camera so I don't need to take out the battery when connecting it to AC. Other than that the AC adapter kit works great for me. I just followed the instructions on Using an AC Adapter Kit in the appendices of my SD100 user guide.

it's fit for travel, but i don't need film.

I just bought this case for my canon powershot s45 digital camera. it fits great and has an extra front pocket for accessories. comes with a tripod 35mm film and a battery. the tripod is good for nightshots or when you need the camera to be still the film im using in my 35mm camera and the battery I threw away. for the price you cant go wrong 35mm or not.

Bought this at walmart, OMG, this pos sucks nuts. Its too flimsy. Everytime I press the shutter button the camera wobbles, so its useless.

I bought this tripod elsewhere for $8, and I still consider it the best eight dollars I've ever spent. I can tuck this tripod into my digital camera case and take it with me everywhere. No more propping my camera on top of my car or a rock, and living with the picture being at a slight angle. I've used it for two years, and some of the paint has scraped off but it still works as well as the day I bought it.

I just received the case after a wait of 4 weeks due to being out of stock. It does not fit the Fuji Finepix 1400 as described. The case won't close since the camera is too big for it.

This case is great! My Finepix 1300 fits snuggly inside and protects the lens since it doesn't have a lens cap. Also the handy belt loop makes carrying the camera effortless! If you have a 1300 pick this case up.

Not good value for the price. The padded hp camera case is very light duty. The 16MB CompactFlash memory card is truly too small to be of real value. You will find very quickly that 128MB or 256MB is the working size for memory, especially if you take 30 second video bites. The lens cleaning tissues are of minor use, and the 8 lithium batteries will be a distant memory shortly after youstart using the camera and find out how swiftly it eats battery power. The imaging tips booklet is pretty well redundant to anyone who already has imaging software for his camera. The tips are basic info found in any software help file. Similarly, the idea book with project ideas can be found easily on most mfg's websites. Finally, the hp premium plus glossy 4x6in photo paper was a small pack of 20 sheets, and specially developed for hp printers. It doesn't work so well if you have another type of printer such as an Epson. The "Accessory Kit" comes in a package labeled "hp digital camera accessory pack". All in all, this is not worth the price.

Well... I read other's reviews and believe me I do not shoot pictures from dawn to sunset and defenitely do not use my camera for video clips... Thye have something call a Camcorder you can use for that. My HP camera is uses always and the pictures are the reason I bought it. High quality not grain filled like other brands. The pack actually has save me money! Th case is very light and it does protect very well unlike a bulky aftermarket case that feels you are carrying a backpack; the memory never gest filled up I use regular resolution not the lowest not the highest and I get plenty of high Q pictures.

I knew the cloth will come on handy when I had already scratched the lens while cleanning my older Kodak camera with a regular cloth. The lens is worth getting plus the software received more than pays for the whole kit.

If you are a professional or just taking video with your digital camera (not too bright) then look elsewhere, if you want to protect and make the most out of your 215 315 or 318 HP then I recommend this kit to you. My grain of advise :)

in bright sunlight. It attaches easily and for that, I give it two stars. Otherwise, the lcd improvement is marginal at best. I think that the Nikon 4300 lcd is just not bright enough. Save your money and get used to the underframing of the optical viewfinder.

works very well in sunlight, enables you to see lcd screen without it being washed out. easy to attach & remove. only 1 gripe (minor): it attaches over the viewfinder so you can't use it to focus.

Do not use for in-door, when pop-up flash is activated.
A shadow will appear on the bottom of the picture.

I've been using a the Coolpix 5700 for 8 mos., shooting outdoors. The hood is usefull on sunny days, or days with slight drizzle--basically helps to protect the lens. Otherwise, it's not necessary.

I bought this package because I needed the battery and the case. The remote control and tripod were nice extras but I don't really need them. If you also only need the battery and case, I highly recommend against this package. Why? The case shipped was the wrong case for the camera. It is useless for an ultra-compact camera, the thing will just shake around in there. The Olympus I-Zoom is an extremely compact camera. The case shipped could fit 2 or 3 of these cameras, it is simply HUGE in comparison to the size of the camera. Bottom line, they shipped a case for a compact 35mm camera, which are of course much bigger. Interestingly, the box claims that it includes a case for an ultra compact camera, which it does not. I asked Olympus about this and they confirmed this: "The carrying case for the I-Zoom 75 is a SNUG FITTING velvet like material case."

I like it because it is cheap, and works like magic. Instead of buying an expensive camera, buy this and a cheap-o-camera, put it together,and...it's like magic, you know!

Optically, you can't really do that much better than the f/1.8 - strong contrast, good color rendition, and very sharp even when shooting wide open. I bought this lens and it lived on my camera for several months and was the default piece of glass that I reached for when the quality of the shot "really mattered."

But, honestly, it's built about as solid as a toy prize in a box of Cracker Jack. After a few months of use - use, not abuse - the lens literally came apart, the front barrel separated from the mount. The bad news was that the lens was completely shot - it was in pieces, after all - the good news was that it had been cheap, so my pocketbook was able to stand the cost of replacement.

I replaced the lens with it's older brother, a used version of the Mark I - much more solid, and which gives equal optical quality even used. It's a shame that the body and housing on new version of this lens is so shamefully cheap, because the glass is very nice. But I can't recommend it, unless you either a) don't do that much shooting, or b) don't mind replacing the lens on a fairly regular basis.

My suggestion is to either cough up the money for Canon's 50mm f/1.4 - gains you a half a stop and is built to pro-quality standards - or pick up the older version of the f/1.8 on the used market. Either option will likely end up being cheaper in the long run.

This is a good little camera for fun, however its not really suited for serious photography. if you are looking for an economically good deal, a camera that will take pictures of friends and family, and record "kodak moments" this is it.
