Should have come with the camera
Great Pruduct BundleI didn't give five start because, as someone already has pointed it out, I think at least the batteries and charger should come with the camera. However, at this price it's a good value and a must for canon A-series digital camera owners.
A must have if you've purchased the Powershot "A" Series.First, the compact case is a streamlined and perfect fit; not a bulky case. And, every camera, particularly these expensive digitals, must have some kind of protection. Okay, preliminaries out of the way, the case is just the cherry. The real beef to this kit is the charger and NiMH rechargeable batteries.
Depending on your use of your camera (and disregarding its powersaving features), AA batteries do not have abundant life. My solution is to have an extra set of non-rechargable AAs with me at all times (which can be conveniently stored in the front pouch of the accompanying case) while using the rechargables. By using this scheme, I'll always be prepared when taking photos. After I get home, I pop the rechargables in the charger, which is very compact and can be plugged in nearly any convenient outlet, and use the non-rechargables. To recharge all four batteries is something less than 4 hours; not bad, all-in-all.
At the price, this is an accessory kit that all A Series owners should strongly consider.

Great sturdy bag for the small-equipment amateurThe only qualm I have with this bag is the shoulder strap. The strap is just a plain nylon strap with no slip prevention or shoulder padding. I believe that Samsonite might have considered (with the large capacity of this bag) providing a non-slip padded cover for the strap. Long treks yield a lot of pulling the bag back up on your shoulder and PAINFUL welts. Thus the 4 stars.
Not too shabbyThe bag fits my Canon EOS IX Lite 2 lenses, a flash, the owner's manual, 5 rolls of film, and I've still got room.

Mixed resultsAfter all these points, I was able to get ONE PERFECT PICTURE of my son underwater. Made it all worthwile, but be patient.
Pretty good for the money...Overall, it served its purpose and was worth the cost.
No water got in and the video was pretty decent.

Perfect for Canon S40
Fits my Canon S40 neatly-best case I've seenAnyways, all it fits is my camera; no room for the battery but you can put that compact flash case. It's very minimizing. The straps are adjustable and long, hooks secure and I just like the fact you can secure the case with your belt as well. Also the front flaps are attach to a velcro covering a zipper casing for the camera compartment.
So far this is the best case for the Canon S30\40 I've seen after picking it up at Fry's after visiting Compusa and BestBuy and I'm very please to own it.

Well fitting case fits too well...If you have the camera in this case and a quick photo opportunity appears, forget it. By the time you get the camera out of this case, the opportunity will be long gone.
Once the long sleeve is off, you can use the camera with the lower part still attached, as long as you don't need to change the memory card or the battery. To open the door that covers these, you need to manouver the leather piece around the neckstrap boss out of the way before it opens. If you want to plug the AC adapter in, you will have to completely remove the lower part of the case, as it covers up the opening for the AC adapter plug.
On top of all that, it has no place to store any accessories, not even a miniscule memory stick. Any self respecting owner will have an extra memory card and a spare battery along, wherever he goes. It would be good to have a place for those in the camera case.
A Case is a A Case ... KindaAnd as for taking it out quickly to get a shot ... well, good luck.

solid amateur gear bagFirst, there is no way to fit "two SLR bodies, seven to ten lenses, flashes, etc, etc" into this bag. Let me tell you what I was able to fit into the bag comfortably (i.e., without squeezing anything and being able to retrieve the gear reasonably fast):
- Canon D10 camera with Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM AF lens,
- Canon EF 20mm f/2.8 USM AF lens in protective bag,
- Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0L USM AF lens in protective bag and with hood and mounting ring,
- Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM AF lens in protective bag,
- Canon Speedlite 420EX,
- Small Slave flash,
- Polaris Flash meter,
- Quick-release tripod head,
- Small table-top tripod,
- batteries, lens-cleaning stuff, remote switch for the SLR and a few other small items.
There was room left for one (maximum two) medium size lenses, and that was it.
Second, as one of the reviewers had commented, this is not a fast bag - all the loops, and velcros, and zippers won't allow you to use it as a piece of professional gear, but it is great for keeping your photo equipment safe and accessible for casual "weekend-shooting" use.
The bag is well-built and well-padded. The only obvious design flaw (for which I give this bag only 4 stars) that I noticed right away was absence of side loops to support the flap when you are using the handle on top of the bag. It causes the weight of the bag to be distributed on the zipper, which, at some point, may break. My bag, by the way, weighed about 15lb with all the aforementioned equipment. If you want to protect the zipper, you should use mostly the shoulder strap.
Overall, this is a good bag, worth the money. If you consider its price and capacity, this bag is well-suited for a serious amateur photographer.
Well made, comfortable, yes. 7 or more lenses, no.However, I'm not sure what lenses they had in mind when they rated the capacity. I carry a single body, three zoom lenses (with hoods reversed), a flash, a doubler, and a few accessories on the inside. Granted, one of them is a fairly large 70-200 2.8 with tripod ring on. I can't imagine putting much more in unless I was going to pack it for long-term storage.
The outside pockets are very useful and make extra batteries, memory cards (film), filters, and other accessories easy to access without compromising security. There are also two handy removeable zipper pouches that attach to the inside top with velcro.
Plenty of bag for me. For situations where you want to carry a similar set of gear, it could be a great bag for you.
A truly professional bag.

Not Good For Olympus E-10 Digital Cam and accessories
As capacious as ...My main gripe with this bag is with the seam used to join the bag to the main zipper (it isn't taped over and will lead to inevitable fraying and zipper jams) and the tripod holder is a complete joke (only good for the very lightest duty tripods). If you have a bunch of filters, you will need to get a wallet-style holder to hold them safely and securely.
For the price, this bag is quite the bargain as comparable products will set you back at least twice as much - but in retrospect I think I should've shelled out more in the beginning. I ended up trading up to a LowePro backpack.
Roomy yet light. You'll find enough space in it to accomodate bodies, lenses, flash, and several minor gadgets. Side-slip pocket is a real hit, very handy indeed.
