I've been using mine for aprox 8 months now, I've taken it hiking, camping, vacationing, and its proved valuable for my PDA and camera. Its built for durability, and is very rugged for just about any need, I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to protect their nice equipment....

I bought this bag about a year ago. Its gone with me on various backpacking trips and other places. Its easy to carry. Can put my camera in one pouch and can carry two lenses and couple of rolls of film (Have taken 6 at a time). Maybe not for the pro, but for me that is more than what I would ever want to carry. The holster design makes carrying the bag very convenient. No slipping off your shoulder etc.

Have you ever seen one of those Samsonite luggage commercials on TV? While I doubt that this little camera pouch will be able to withstand the damage by trampling bulls, this little pouch certainly does live up to its Samsonite name. (Samsonite does offer more robust camera cases for those daring individuals should they encounter bulls and the like.)

When I had first purchased my compact digital camera, I was content with sticking it in an old, clean sock. Granted, this wasn't the most stylish way of storing the camera, but I really didn't think much of camera cases and bags at that time. It wasn't until my first vacation with the camera that I realized the importance of a proper camera case. The sock failed to protect my camera against minor dings and often covered the viewfinder with lint.

After I had learned my lesson, I decided to look around for a camera case. What I had found ranged from humongous plastic storage containers that could store lens, battery chargers, and probably a week's supply of food as well to miniscule pouches that looked no different from a purse. Well, the reason I had purchased my compact digital camera (a Canon Powershot, by the way) was because it was COMPACT. To buy one of those huge cases would have nullified any portability of the camera. On the other hand, I didn't want to spend money to buy a pouch that looked like a purse and only offered a slight bit more protection than my sock.

At last, I found the Samsonite pouch. Not only was it small, it was also stylish and rugged at the same time. Its padding would protect my camera against the shocks of travelling abroad and clumsy hands. Unlike the other small purse-like pouches, the Samsonite offered a shoulder strap, making it very convenient to take along on trips and leaving your hands free to carry other items. Should a "Kodak" moment ever arise, you could easily pull out your camera and capture the moment instead of having to rumage through your other luggage to find that camera pouch that you had stowed away.

The only thing lacking in this case are dedicated pockets for extra batteries or storage media. However, this is hardly an issue for me as the pouch still leaves enough room to pack these essential items at the bottom of the case. Overall, I highly recommend this case. At this price point, I simply couldn't be happier with the protection, style, and functionality that the Samsonite offered.

The bag is adequate for a typical 35mm SLR camera with a zoom lens of length comparable to a 60-300 or an 80-200 lens. The bag is attractive on the outside and provides couple of mesh side pockets for storage. I store extra film and my camera manual in the side pockets. The pockets are too small for anything bigger. The inside is padded with two adjustable supports that are affixed to the inside with velcro. The supports can be moved to adjust to the size of the camera and lens. The bag closes with a zipper for water proofing and a clasp. If you have accessories, such as a detachable flash or an extra lens, go for the bigger bags. This bag has no room for accessories. Overall, this is a great looking and functional bag for the money.

You can carry everything you need with this camera bag. It has a very roomy interior with dividers that you can move around to suit your specific needs. You can pack a camera, two flashes and three or four lenes and filters and lots of extra film. This is one of the best bags that I have ever used.

This is a flexible lead composite bag that does what it says - protects 400 and 800 ISO film from x-ray damage. It is roomy enough for about 10 rolls (IN their protective case it comes in). No need to put your camera in the bag if it has no film in it. In fact, many companies recommend you FINISH your last roll of film BEFORE getting on the plane. Therefore, shoot the last few pics and place the film in here.

This is a must have if you want to be extra careful that you wont lose those great holiday photos.

Update: I recently got an Olympus E10 and it fits great in the Tamrac 4620. I can fit my E10 along with the Tcon-14B and my 990 into the bag and still have room for 3 sets of batteries and memory cards. However, with the E10 inside, it doesn't fit my Vivitar 285HV flash (which is a huge flash unit).

I bought this bag to carry my Coolpix 990. It just the right size to carry my camera, accessory lens, external flash, filters, memory cards, 4 sets of batteries and the charger. It's also pretty slim so that I can carry it around (even in tight spots) without always bumping into things. The turbo top is somewhat useless. I recommend highly recommend this bag to anyone looking for a compact bag for their gear.

I bought this for my Cool Pix 4300. I thought it might be too small, but I am able to fit the camera, charger, usb cable extra battery, extra memory card, and it is still possible to squeeze in the manual if you bend it a little. Would be too small if you have additional accessories to accomodate. It is hard to judge the size of camera cases online, so I hope this helps someone.
