Great Travel Bag
This is a great little bag for traveling. I use it with a Fuji 4900Z SLR like digital camera and it works great! Lots of padding to keep things safe. Plenty of zippered pockets to carry everything I need to take pictures for a day on the road. I can carry the camera, extra batteries, extra SmartMedia, as well as all of the cables, instructions for the camera and even the battery recharger and still have extra room to spare! The only negative (and it's minor) is that the carry strap is not detachable. I just used the bag for two weeks in Central Europe and have no complaints. I highly recommend this bag!

Good for Canon Rebel 2000
Canon with attached lense (for example Sigma 70-210);
another lense (Canon 22-55 or more); films and other stuff.
Nice appearance, good bag. Bag from Canon is more expensive
and doesn't have enough space.

Good fit for Olympus 3040 with accessories
This bag is a very good fit for an Olympus 3040 digital camera set including the 1.4x teleextender and the 0.8 xwide conversion lenses. It fits well the FL-40 falsh with the necessary bracket and extra batteries, cleaning kit and the Olympus smart media card holder.

Great Traveler
This bag works great with my new SLR-like digital camera! Great padding on ALL sides of bag, plenty of storage for extra batteries, battery charger, memory cards and all of the adaptor cables you would ever need. The only thing wrong with it is minor! The carrying strap is not easily removed, may have to make my own after-market modification.

Just a great camera bag
Mainly I bought this bag because of price and the good reviews. I was afraid it would be on the small side, but I was surprised at how much room there is. More than enough room for my HP315, battery charger, and extra batteries. I love it. Think I may find room for my 35mm Ricoh in there too. The soft sides with a separator in the middle will protect the camera. It has a pouch in the front that holds 8 aa batteries with room to spare. The side mesh panels could hold the batteries, the front pouch the charger, and inside next to the digital camer, my 35mm will fit nicely.

Just great for the money.

great little bag !!
I recently purchased a digital camera (Kodak DC280) and needed a small, compact bag to protect my investment. I have used LowePro bags before for my medium format and 35 mm cameras. They are excellent bags that are comfortable on your shoulder. This micro bag has pockets on 3 sides and more than ample padding to protect your camera from those "bumps" you get while traveling. Plenty of room in the bag for extra batteries and memory cards. Thumbs UP!!

Great Camera Case
It holds my camera and that is about it, I wish there was enough room for a spare battery my camera likes to eat up my batteries. Also I wish the strap was detachable but these are minor details I am happy with my camera case.

Micoscopic Camera Bag
I took a chance in buying this bag because I was looking for the most compact bag I could find to fit my Fujii FinePix 6800, however my camera was just too wide. Fitting the Fujii 6800 in this case was like having a Sumo Wrestler squeeze his way into a GEO METRO. I give this bag a 5 star rating because it is very well made, and I cannot blame anyone but myself. Even though I could not use this bag for my Fujii, I have found that it is perfect for my camera acessories. I use it to store batteries, memory cards, battery charger, and cleaning supplies, so it is a great utility bag for my usage. If you own a Canon Elf S100, this bag will fufill your needs, as it will fit like a glove.

GREAT Camera bag!
I recently purchased this because of the sale price on Amazon. I have been looking for a small camera bag for my digital camera. This one features a Large pocket for the camera, a small pocket in front to store extra batteries and both shoulder and belt straps. The belt strap comes in handy to clip on my son's stroller accesory bar for zoo trips. It's well made and large enough to store small items, and money so you don't have to carry around all those extra bags. It's also hip enough for the teens in the family!

A pretty good camera bag . . .
Tamrac's 5606 camera bag is well constructed, sturdy and versatile, and is suitable for use with either film or digital SLR cameras. It is a mid-sized bag, designed to carry up to two camera bodies. The crucial issue with this type of bag, is whether it has adequate space to carry exactly what you need, including lenses and larger accessories like flash units and battery packs. Check Tamrac's website, and look at the diagrams showing the interior compartments of the bag, and how components may be stored, and judge if there's enough space for the particular gear you have.

The interior of the bag can be divided into up to six smaller compartments. The layout is designed to accept a body with a zoom lens up to around 8 inches in length attached. While a camera with a long lens will fit in the bag, you'll have arrange things carefully if you want to carry too much else. Also this setup does not work well if you have a battery grip attached. One solution is to store the camera and grip with no lens attached. Doing this, there is more than adequate space for the body, and three or four lens, and a flash unit. Stored vertically, a long lens can be accommodated with no problem. Carrying your gear this way, you're not immediately prepared to shoot, as you must take a few moments to assemble the camera.

Though the bag is really better suited to accommodating the gear to fully outfit one camera. In a pinch, the 5606 can accommodate two camera bodies, even with battery packs, but that will leave just about a third of the available space for lenses and a flash.

There is a zippered fold down compartment with pockets in the front. It would be nice if the pockets had some kind of fasteners. Pouches with velco fasteners are on the side of the bag. Velcro is an extremely poor design choice. One should not risk putting valuable or heavy items into these pouches. They could easily be lost, or fall out and be broken, should the fasteners fail to hold. This wasted storage space is the bag's major flaw. Some type of modification would be required to make them truly useful.

The 5606 has an excellent heavy duty carrying strap, and also has straps at the base for carrying a tripod. A semi useful feature is a wallet for carrying digital media and other small accessories. The wallet is attached to the bag with an elastic strip, and sides into a compartment on the side of the bag. The padding in bottom and sides could stand to be a bit thicker, but that can be said of most bags.

As with any camera bag, it's ultimate usefulness depends on the user, and the particular gear to be carried. The 5606 isn't quite perfect in all situations, but it is adaptable enough to be useful most of the time. Available in several colors.

A bag for a pro and the daily amateur
When I went camera bag shopping, I was looking for a bag that would not only hold all my SLR gear, but also my backup camera and accessories. This bag does all that and beyond. I can carry 2 bodies and 3 lenses with this bag, 28-200, 70-300 and a macro lens, my flash with wireless transmitter, a thin minolta 150 point and shoot camera, my swiss tool, and filters with plenty of room left over. The easy access front pouch is great for film if you are shooting the kids and don't want to miss a shot by having to dig through the bag to find the film. Why look? The film can be placed in the convenient front flap pouch. I use the side pouches to store my cleaning cloths, extra batteries and a photo pen that I carry around.

With the system 6, 2 things come to mind that are key in all camera bags: 1.) lots of space and 2.) secured travel and protection. With the spacious storage capacity of such a versatile bag, a novice to a pro cannot go wrong with this bag. A must for photographers!

Great bag and great price
I did a lot of shopping before I purchased this camera bag. I went to the manufactures web sites and found Tamracs to be the easiest to negotiate and also the most helpful. That told me a little something about the product. When I received my bag I was very impressed with the quality of material and workmanship. There is ample space for my camera, at least five lenses including a telephoto zoom and a flash in the main compartment. There are plenty of side pockets for film, filters and extra goodies. If I have any complaints it would be with the dividers in the main compartment. The Velco system is a little awkward to adjust but I think this is typical for most camera bags. Overall I am very happy with the Tamrac system 6 camera bag and I would't hesitate to purchase other products from Tamrac.

    Almost almost almos, perfect.
I have an Olympus Camedia 2040, and at first I was scared that the camera wouldn't fit. When the camera extends it's lens it will retract back into the camera, but if you hamdle the bag for a while, it will get warm and expand a bit, I recomend getting the camera in first (so that the external flash connection faces the open end of the bag), then screw a filter tube to the lens, they are strong and will protect the lens and keep the bag extended, then turn it on. It will be tight but that helps to get clearer pictures. If the bag was 1 inch biger I would have given it the 5 stars, after all it claims to be "Large".

    Truly Innovative Product!
I just got one of these for my digital camera, in preparation for a trip to WDW. The neat thing about it is that it is so simple to use! They are made in England and the company had one of the universities there test them to failure. When it says rated to 30ft @ 30 minutes, you can believe it! The pictures come out ok, and camera's controls are accessible. You won't be able to use your camera's flash, but that shouldn't be a problem for most digitals. And best of all, IT FLOATS!!!

    Excellent accessory for Canon PowerShot
I purchased this item to use with a Canon PowerShot S230. When I am using the camera I tend to just have it around my neck or in a shirt pocket but I wanted a travel bag that would protect it when not in use.

    PROS
This case is great. I own other Lowepro D-Res cases and it is made with the same quality materials etc.

The size is perfect for the S230. The camera fit is very snug but leaves enough room to fit a spare battery and CompactFlash card in the small inner pocket.

    CONS
The case is a bit thick and does not sit well under a shirt or jacket when you place it on your belt. The design could have placed the inner pocket on the outside on the side to reduce the thickness.

    Excellent Durable Case
This is an excellent case for small cameras. This was purchased for a Fuji FinePix A303 and the unit fits snuggly into the case (the inside of the case is nicely padded). However any camera, not necessarily a digital one, which has a similar form factor will fit neatly into the case.

The only faults are the memory pouch of the case is a little too large for certain memory cards if using only one, especially the types used in the Fuji FinePix models. Also the strap that comes with the pouch could be a little wider. Other than that an excellent case for small form factor cameras.

    Excellent for hiker
This is a excellent bag for hiker or cyclist who want to travel light but wish to be able to bring along a mini camcoder or camera for those photo moments. The compartment is big enough to hold your camcorder, spare battery and a few filter for your camcorder.

A Great Camera Bag for the Money
What a great buy! This bag works great for either a digital still camera or mini camcorder. I purchased the Lowepro 40AW after researching them on the Internet and checking out the Lowepro site. I originally bought the 40 AW to use with my Toshiba PDR M-5 Digital Still Camera. I could fit either the still camera and all the accessories -- cables, filters, you name it, or my Canon ZR10 with *almost* all the gear. But I loved it so much I bought this bag too -- Lowepro Digital beltpack AW -- for the ZR10. They are high quality camera bags and the Digital variety come with a special lining that will not scratch sensitive LCD screens! Lots of extra little pockets for tapes, smart cards, cables, and chargers too. The outside is soft yet rugged and well constructed. I think my high dollar digital camera investment feels safe and sound in this GREAT camera bag!

    Good starter bag
This is a pretty good starter bag for a small camera with a couple of lenses. Its main drawback is the inability to strap a tripod on to it.

What a great little bag! No problem fitting in my Minolta X370 with a lens on it, a flash, and an extra lens. Plenty of room for film and instruction manuals. Really well padded. High quality and workmanship.

    Almost Perfect
I really like the Sony Leather Case for my DSCP* the only complaint that I have is the detachable holder for the battery and memory stick. I wish it had a pocket in front to carry this stuff rather than having it detachable. But over all this is a great product. I am very happy with my purchase.

Best case I've found for this camera.
I was looking for a case that would match the sleekness of the P10 itself. This came the closest. It's a bit thicker than I imagined, yet still quite small. The back and front are very rigid and I feel the case will protect the camera well. I like that you can choose whether or not to use the memory stick/extra battery case. If you want to carry more accessories than that, this isn't the case for you...there just isn't extra room. All in all, I'm quite pleased with my purchase.
