Simply The Best
It is surely a rare day when I buy a product that does exactly what I want and lives up to what the company says it can do.

Batteries fully charged in three hours, THE ABSOLUTE Winner hands down for staying power, my Toshiba digital would eat any other rechargeable, but with the Monster it lasts thru frame after frame, even with flash.(out performs projected #of frames). These people have made a friend for life!

Very good pack - long battery life
Just a solid battery pack for your digital camera. My brother-in-law used this product a ton but then he forgot it at my house over X-mas and I've been using it ever since. Batteries seem to last longer than other times and it does charge a little faster although I don't know if that is such an issue. Monster stuff tends to be a little expensive so I'm glad he forgot it at my place.

batteries that work!
i purchased this item and have been impressed! the power cells hold a charge for a long time!! i have not lost power when using my digital camera with these batteries. i would recommend an extra set of power cells, so that you can always have back up...just in case! but, even after a trip to disney (with lots of pictures), i am still satisfied.

Usefull Information
I bought these batteries on what was writen on their packaging. It was not true to what was said. These batteries died after only 25 minutes in my digital camera. And a set of Duracell Ultras, that are not rechargeable, lasted longer. Do not always believe what you read. Make sure you have the ability to return items. And is with this case, they went back. I went with a set of energizers. And they last much longer, with the power being the smae as these 1800mah monster brand.

VERY overpriced
a 4 pack of rayovac 1800mah (probably higher capacity sold now) AAs is $8.97 at walmart. if you get them mail order add 1.44 for shipping. 1800 mah is now the low end for AA nimh batteries, there are 2000, 2100 and 2200mah ones out now. I have bought 4 lenmar 2000s for $6! (wish I had stocked up during the sale)

Best yet
I have tried the Energizer Accu-Rechargeable which are rated at 1200 mAh. The Monster Cable batteries blow them away. They last MUCH longer and the Energizers have started to leak after only a few charges!
Technology is getting better, will try the Kodak batteries next. They are cheaper and have a better mHa rating. Even so, I would recommend these.

The clarity of this camera is fuzzy. I can only see shadows and not the clear faces of the people.

Veo Connect USB PC Camera
The Veo Connect USB PC Camera is essentially the Veo Advanced model minus the built-in microphone. For the price of the camera, stability, and functionality, this is a good buy. If you're using AOL 9.0, AIM, Yahoo, or MSN, you can do no wrong. If you're looking for a cam to use for a business, i.e. Webcam sites that charge a fee (which I won't get into here,) or you're looking for a professional quality camera for other reasons, don't buy this. The Veo connect is perfect, and targeted at, those that just want to keep in touch with family and friends who don't need a plethora of features. It's a simple user interface, good software & compatability, and extremely easy to set up. Plug it in, load the software, then use your favorite Instant Messenging service. The camera runs at a nice 30 fps which is good and there is an adjustable focus. I've looked over webcams for over the last 6 years, going all the way back to the black & white one's put out in 1997. I was pleasantly surprised get out of my office, connect this one to my laptop, and chat with friends from the recliner. Nice camera overall.

Great Camera Worth The Money
this is an awesome webcam the picture is really clear, other webcams require a lot of light but this one you don't need that much light to see a image. this is a great camera it's small you can't hardly notice it's there. and it has this hot little blue light when it's on so you know when it's working.

It Works....Kind Of....
There are several "video enhancement" gizmos on the market these days, the majority of them made by Sima. Basically, you want one of these things so that you can transfer a VHS cassette which is copy protected to a DVD-R. However, not many people realize that there are two types of Macrovision--type 1 and type 2. Most of these units ONLY remove "type one" macrovision, leaving "type 2" still fully functional (and you S.O.L.).

So what you really need is a unit which will fully override both types of Macrovision, and to my knowledge, the only thing available is the SIMA SCC-2 Color Corrector 2. This thing is expensive ($150-200 bucks), but it's worth it if you have a big video collection you'd like to transfer to DVD-R. I hope this helps anyone out there who bought a bunch of VHS tapes and simply wants to transfer a few to DVD. Jeez.....

Great product
This item is great for backing up your old video tapes to DVD. Especially those videos that will never be released on DVD. I was skeptical at first but when I hooked up the Sima to my DVD recorder I was able to back up a VHS tape that I couldn't before. Heck you can even back up your DVD's to DVD. I must mention this device is so easy to use pretty much a no brainer. Worth the money.

This Device Will Allow You To Make Fair Use Copies of DVD's
Forget about using those cumbersome and illegal computer programs! The Sima CT-2 signal processor will allow you to easily make "fair use" back-up copies of your store bought DVD's. Simply plug it in between your DVD recorder and DVD player and you'll be good to go. Works with either a S-Video cable or RCA connector. Although not true digital, the DVD images will transfer nicely and are very crisp looking. I've been extremely satisfied with the results. Well worth the price.

    Good product, Bad instructions.
I bought this product, and it turned out to work fine, but I had trouble getting it started. For instance, for the sound in, you need to configure it, but in the instruction book you are supposed to put "sound in", when it is really "NT1004". Also, you can't run the program through classic, because it won't capture the video, so youi have to restart the computer in OS 9.2. The product is good, but the instructions are very bad.

      expensive but handy & reliable...
I ordered this cable to use with my olympus c-3000z camera, which has 5-pin syncro outlet. usually, most of SLR cameras and prosumer digital cameras have pc (cord) outlet. but, unfortunately, my olympus camera doesn't have it!!! (what a shame thing....! olympus!)
So there is no choice but to use this cord to use external flash.
(don't forget to buy flash bracket if you are using one of olympus 20X0, 30X0, 40X0 series cameras.)
as you know, this cable is expensive compared to pc cord. most of pc cord cables are about 5-10 dollar and they are easily found in many camera shops near your home.
this cord is coiled and tough enough to use at any conditions.
but it's not long enough to use long range off-camera flash shooting situation. so if you have a plan to use long range off-camera flash, you'd better buy "pc extension cord(female-male)."

p.s. dont forget this: this cable is only for olympus cameras and it has pc cord tip(male). if you wanna female tip, just buy FL-CB04!!

Get the DLO charger and save yoursefl $10
This device is not worth the $30+ since the amplifier function is so hit and miss. With my car stereo & iPod mini the signal produced from the "amped" line-out on the charger is about 1/50th of the volume produced just by hooking the tape adapter into the normal audio-out on the iPod. I didn't even think the charger's line out was working at first until I cranked the stereo all the way up with the "amped" line out volume on max. Basically, I paid an extra $10 for a non-feature. In hindsight I should have ordered the DLO charger only for $20 from somewhere else because all I have is a charger.

      GREAT PRODUCT!
I think that the folks that gave this product low ratings have electrical systems in their vehicles that are not compatible or are hooking it up wrong (somehow?). This charger should not have any effect on the hissing sound through a cassette adapter. There are many ways to use the line output with this product: If you have an aftermarket cd player that has a line input on the front of the head unit, you can use a 3$ mini stero jack cable and hook it up that way (from the ipod headphones or the Charger). Better yet, in my case my cd player has RCA line inputs on the back, so I just bought a Mini Stero Jack that splits to two RCA's and plugged them in...AWESOME SOUND!! I recommend the charger, and for me it works great!!

Great when working with RCA to Mini Jack Adapter
From my Car Stereo Head Unit, I bought a 15 dollar rca adapter to convert the CD changer port to a standard RCA Input. Go out and buy a 5 dollar RCA to Mini cable and connect that from the RCA adapter to the Auto Kit. Connect your IPOD to the Auto Kit, and away you go. The best sound you can get from your IPOD. No static Cassette, no low sound FM transmitter. Just straight RCA input into your Car Stereo.
Total cost approx. 55 dollars to get the best out of your ipod while charging. After buying two cables and the Auto Kit. 1.5 years and still going...
Worth the buy.

      Beware!
This is the female type of plug. My camera originally came with the male version. The website doesn't do a good job of letting you know this. Now I have to buy a converter!

      It Works!
This cable also works with the Kodak DC3200 Camera. The cable looks a bit different on the photo than it actually is, but it works!

Is this the cable I need for my Olympus digital camera?
Trying to figure out whether this is the cable you need?
Here's hoping the following excerpt from Olympus document entitled: "DOCUMENT NUMBER 2039 -- EXTERNAL FLASH OR STROBES NOT FIRING WITH OLYMPUS CAMERAS" may help you as it helped me!:

Olympus Cameral Models: C-2040/3000/3030/3040 Zoom, C-2100/C-700 UZ and E-100RS:

The above cameras utilize a 5-pin TTL connector for the external flash connection. The 5-pin TTL connector is designed to control the Olympus FL-40 dedicated flash unit (p/n 200596). To use the FL-40 with these cameras, the optional Olympus FL-CB01 cable (p/n 200 664) and FL-BK01 flash bracket (p/n 200 666) must be used.

The 5-pin TTL connector can also control a PC Sync flash or strobe system by using the optional FL-CB04 flash cable (p/n 200 661). Since this type of flash/strobe is non-dedicated, the photographer will need to manually match the flash output with the camera.

It Works Fine, But Olympus Does Not Explain It Adequately
Overall, the unit functions well, but I wish the Olympus Web site or the outside of the package would give a better explanation of the characteristics and use of the cable. Here is such an explanation:

One end of this Olympus FL-CB04 TTL-PC cable is a proprietary socket (with five holes) which fits onto the five-pin external flash terminal on cameras such as the C-2000, C-3000, and C-4000 Zoom series. The other end is PC female to connect to studio strobes and other external electronic flashes. The female PC end looks like a donut in cross-section.

Do NOT get this cable confused with the FL-CB03 PC socket cable, whose PC end is male (i.e., has a central pin). I do not know what the CB03 is used for.

You can't use TTL (through-the-lens metering) with an external flash connected via the CB04. Instead, you need one of the following: (1) a flash meter, (2) a flash with a thyristor to adjust output automatically (such as the Vivitar 285HV), or (3) "experiments" ("bracketing") to determine the correct aperture for a given shot.

        Wrong cable for this camera!
This cable does not fit the Coolpix 800, as advertised. Buy at your own risk.

Not just for the Coolpix 990
        From Nikon's web site:

UC-E1 USB cable for the Coolpix 5700, 5000, 4500, 4300, 995, 990, 885 and 880. For use with a computer that is equiped with a USB port only. System Requirements MAC OS 8.1 or later or Windows 98/2000.

Not just for the 990, and not for the 800 (as previous reviewer was disappointed to find out). I haven't used it yet, so I'm giving it a 4 on the assumption it works.

        works
I bought a baby shirt and it doesnt fit me, 1 star! DEEEERRR! Read the label, its not supposed to work with the 800!
