Minolta CS-W30 Leather Case for Dimage G400 & G600 Digital Camera

A must have accessory for any G400 / G600 owner
I've looked around photo and electronic stores and couldn't quite find anything that fit my G400 decently. This case however is made of quality leather and is reinforced to protect your camera. The inside has soft lining to protect the LCD display and it closes with a little velcro patch on the flap. The integrated belt clip seems to be a leather covered metal clip which looks pretty sturdy. The only downside is the lack of pockets for extra memory or battery.

    Money well spent
I took a chance and ordered the Minox 8x32 without ever having tried them, based on features and price and my experience with Minox-Leica optics. It has proved to be one my best purchases ever. The binoculars are simply outstanding - crystal-clear, bright image; easy focusing; well-armored; waterproof; exceptional close-focusing; with a well-designed neckstrap and case. For an eyeglass wearer, they're a joy to use. I use them for birding, stadium sports and concerts. You can pay more for outstanding binoculars with more prestigious names, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a better binocular for under $1000.

      Legendary Samsonite quality!
Have you ever seen one of those Samsonite luggage commercials on TV? While I doubt that this little camera pouch will be able to withstand the damage by trampling bulls, this little pouch certainly does live up to its Samsonite name. (Samsonite does offer more robust camera cases for those daring individuals should they encounter bulls and the like.)

When I had first purchased my compact digital camera, I was content with sticking it in an old, clean sock. Granted, this wasn't the most stylish way of storing the camera, but I really didn't think much of camera cases and bags at that time. It wasn't until my first vacation with the camera that I realized the importance of a proper camera case. The sock failed to protect my camera against minor dings and often covered the viewfinder with lint.

After I had learned my lesson, I decided to look around for a camera case. What I had found ranged from humongous plastic storage containers that could store lens, battery chargers, and probably a week's supply of food as well to miniscule pouches that looked no different from a purse. Well, the reason I had purchased my compact digital camera (a Canon Powershot, by the way) was because it was COMPACT. To buy one of those huge cases would have nullified any portability of the camera. On the other hand, I didn't want to spend money to buy a pouch that looked like a purse and only offered a slight bit more protection than my sock.

At last, I found the Samsonite pouch. Not only was it small, it was also stylish and rugged at the same time. Its padding would protect my camera against the shocks of travelling abroad and clumsy hands. Unlike the other small purse-like pouches, the Samsonite offered a shoulder strap, making it very convenient to take along on trips and leaving your hands free to carry other items. Should a "Kodak" moment ever arise, you could easily pull out your camera and capture the moment instead of having to rumage through your other luggage to find that camera pouch that you had stowed away.

The only thing lacking in this case are dedicated pockets for extra batteries or storage media. However, this is hardly an issue for me as the pouch still leaves enough room to pack these essential items at the bottom of the case. Overall, I highly recommend this case. At this price point, I simply couldn't be happier with the protection, style, and functionality that the Samsonite offered.

Protect your film and rest peacefully!
This is a flexible lead composite bag that does what it says - protects 400 and 800 ISO film from x-ray damage. It is roomy enough for about 10 rolls (IN their protective case it comes in). No need to put your camera in the bag if it has no film in it. In fact, many companies recommend you FINISH your last roll of film BEFORE getting on the plane. Therefore, shoot the last few pics and place the film in here.

This is a must have if you want to be extra careful that you wont lose those great holiday photos.

Altamente recomendable. Espero sea de ayuda. (En español es mejor!!)

SONY P10 AND THE MPKPHA CASE
I ordered my MPKPHA case from bluemoutain through amazon.com after another company dropped the ball on my order and time was running out before my trip. Bluemoutain came though with great service and a better than expected price.

This case worked very well with my Sony P 10 camera. I used it down to 90 feet and made up to 4 dives a day. The camera case was soaked and opened each time without any additional maintainace on this trip. It was easy to use and the pictures were great. The Strobe and the macro feature did most of what I needed and about $1000 less than other brands. If you use a red filter make sure you understand what you are doing and your lighting. This case and the matching filter worked great.

Thankyou bluemountain for your great service

        Wrong bag in picture
The photo in the picture is for the Tamrac Travel Zoom 5. The Tamrac Travel Zoom 4 is the same bag, without the pockets on the side for wallet-type stuff. Guess how I know this...

Nothing wrong with the bag, though; it is very padded and I really feel like my camera is protected in here. Adorama customer service was very helpful in making the exchange for me for the Travel Zoom 5.

High quality images, solid design, top notch portability.
I recently sold my Canon S30. While it was an EXCELLENT camera, I still found myself wanting a more compact design. It wasn't difficult to decide upon the S230 from the Digital ELPH line of camera's once they had a 3.2MP version.

I'll say this, everything about this camera is top notch. If your looking for a high quality, well built camera that easily fits in your pocket, look no further.

Only bad thing I can think of is the rubber door that covers the proprietary connection port on the side of the camera. It seems pretty flimsy and eventually with enough opening and closing may just wear off. It's a very thin piece of rubber. Other then that, that's all I can think of.

You can try and knock the flash or the weak optical zoom, but if you consider the size of camera your working with I'd say they are more then adequate. If you need a lot of flash power, or a big zoom lense, look for another camera.

        Durrable and high-quality camera
Some of the reviews below are not accurate...

This is an INCREDIBLE camera! Shure it's compact, but it's also very durrable, so taking it on a vacation is perfect. The image quality is very high. There is a cool panorama and auto-stich feature that let's you automatically combine multiple photos into 1. Also, a great feature is the video mode - it has very high-quality sound and a crisp picture.

This camera is much better than other 3 and 4 mp olympuses and minoltas!

Wondering whether or not to buy the s200 which is 2.1 MP instead of this camera (s2300 with 3.2 MegaPixels)?
I would deffinitely choose this 3.2 mp because at 2 mp many pictures are blury and small, making them hard to edit and print. Buying a 2mp nowadays is like purchasing a computer at 1ghz: not terrible but still bad.

        Pros:

        Great picture quality
        Awesome video mode
        Red-eye feature is good
        Macro works perfectly
Zoom goes up to 10x digital!
VERY easy to use yet also great for manual use

        Cons:

The auto-focus takes a little too long

        ----------
The auto-focus is still very powerfull and actually scans the image frame to select the sharpest spot.

This is deffinetely worth your money.

        Greatest little camera!!!
What a work horse, plus the great size, just fits in my shirt pocket. Battery life is outstanding, but get a backup, plus this one uses compact flash so I was able to get the Sandisk II 512meg CF card also at Amazon for about $100. It's so good I bought a camera for everyone in my family.

        beware dont buy this one
I just got the dreaded e18 error message on this camera and its only two years old. canon has a problem with all of its retractible lenses and they get either jammed in the out or the in position and the camera wont power up, rendering this useless. canon will fix it for 175.00 but the problem, as i have found from others on the web will happen again. it is a mecanical flaw? and canon wont support you at all.

        Wonderful Point-and-Shoot Camera
This is the ultimate camera for active/sporting/outdoor snapshots. It's so small you can stick it in a pocket, and yet it has flash, 3x optical zoom and 4 megapixel resolution! Because it's digital you can see the results immediately, and you don't have to worry about wasting film. Send your experiences and memories to everyone!

        Pros:
        * Very small and handy
        * Unobtrusive-your friends will stop posing every time you try to take a picture! My friend Christine has mastered the art of stealth photography with her S410; she looks in a different direction while glancing at the LCD viewfinder!
        * Uses Compact Flash (CF)- Low-cost easy to handle memory cards available in capacities up to 1 GB!
        * Picture quality (so far) is excellent

        Cons:
        * Uses a rechargeable battery-This takes some extra planning and perhaps a purchase of a spare battery.
        * Non-automatic operation is difficult-the small size makes it hard to read and navigate the controls
        * Small size can be a danger! You could lose it accidentally or drop it out of a shirt pocket

        Excellently made compact camera
I've been reading the reviews on this Canon PowerShot S410 camera before and after purchasing my own. There certainly are numerous whiners out there. It seems people love to find something to whine about. Honestly, this camera has given me nothing but pleasure, excellent pictures and compliments from others. This is a solid well-built camera (my cats knocked it off my desk and dragged around a bit and it had no scratches and still works excellently) with excellent picture quality both indoor and outdoor and easy to figure out menu and buttons. People also seem to complain about the LCD screen being small on digital cameras in general. My answer, look through the view finder. In addition, with the Canon S410 the image on the LCD screen is so vivid and clear and the colors so rich that it doesn't really matter. After all, the most important thing is both the final print and how it looks on your computer not the size of the LCD screen. When I connect the camera to my Canon CP-330 compact photo printer, it's a one press operation and away it goes printing the best quality pictures ever. Unless you love to nit-pick (there's really nothing to nit-pick about on this one) you'll love this camera. Minor note, Canon could have possibly been a little more generous in what comes with the camera, such as an AC power adapter (although I love the battery recharger). However, don't consider this a complaint, just a suggestion to Canon. If you do decide to purchase, ENJOY! And to those whiners, life is too short .......
