terrible product! avoide it!
It only charges for 20 minutes and not even half charged. You can take 10 pictures with them, it is useless! Speaked to vidpro, they are aware of the problems. They asked me to ship them back and pay $9 shipping and handling for replacements. The total cost comes to $20 if I want get it exchanged. It's not worth that. it is absolutely a terrible experience!

An excellent buy!
These batteries have never yet failed me, the charger works great, the trickle charge feature is an extremely desirable option (not all chargers have it, but this one does). I keep a spare set of non-rechargeables in my camera bag as backup, too, which no photographer should be without since you never keep track of how many hours you've actually put on your batteries. This one also comes with an automotive plug, so you can recharge batteries in your car or RV overnight - very handy for campers. In short, this item is not a waste of your money. The batteries included are better than the standard rechargeable ones you can buy at your local WallyWorld, too.

Great Battery
I have a Minota Dimage 7 digital camera. It drained the 1600 mAh like u never seen before. But with this 2100mAh rechargeable, I believe it would leave marks on the energizer bunny on the go go go.

I just want to buy one in the UK
The one I have has lasted for 5+ years and is brilliant.
But it seems impossible to buy a replacement in the UK.
Looks like my drill is heading for the bin

Dewalt lets be REAL..
I have had TWO of these batteries. I use my drill on occasion, and each of these batteries no longer will hold a charge after only 100 charges each.

Great charging system
I have owned my drill, with 2 batteries, since 1991, and this is the first replacement I have had to purchase. (Nov '03) I have used it around the house with a couple large projects in between. I finished off a 2 car garage and an 1100 ft^2 lower level.

Not enough attention to detail
The concept is attractive: charge your iPaq using the USB port on your notebook computer.

On my Toshiba Tecra 9000, there's not enough power output from the USB port to charge the iPaq 3650. Worse, Windows 2000 keeps thinking the cable is a Toshiba Wireless LAN adapter and tries to install drivers for it.

The plug for the iPaq isn't well designed: it's too large, tempting the user to use excessive force attaching the cable.

Works but....
I bought one of these because I have two cradles, one at work & one at home. Sounded like a nice idea. However, it only charges if the PC is on, even if the USB Hub is self-powered.
I use the power adapter that came with the my Compaq at work (where I need the juice) and use this gadget at home. So, it has worked out ok so far.
Buyer beware of this limitation.

seems to work fine for me
regardless of what was said in prior review

Doesn't work at all for my iPaq and multiple computers
I've tested this across 3 computers with Windows 2000. None work, no power for charging, no sync, not anything!

I would steer people towards gomadic.com for a better cable that I will purchase to replace this junker. I believe Targus sells this type of product as well. Probably works too! ;)

Will return this and not buy anything from this company again.

USB Sync/Charger
Let me say right off that this product worked from the "get go". It sync'd and charged without a problem; however, when I went to remove it from my 3955, it wouldn't let go! It seems that the metal clips which hold it in place are not the best for this job.
While it does the job it was intended for (sync/charge), I'll look into the same product from Belkin or Fellows.

You get what you pay for
After tweaking the thing for a bit it finally worked. The first time I plugged it into my 3835 it wouldn't let go, and I had to wrestle with it for a minute or two before prying it out. I found there was plastic from the mold still attached to the connector, so I trimmed it off and tried it again, only to find it was now too loose. Finally, I pinched the connector a bit and it worked. It's tempermental, but if you don't mind messing with it it beats carrying around the OEM cradle.

Business radios operate on overcrowded business frequencies
On the jobsite or in the workplace, professional two-way radios
provide instant communication with individuals or multiple groups.

Business communications made simple! The Spirit GT+ radio
is ideally suited for retail stores, restaurants, schools,
hospitals, event coordination, small businesses and more.

Special "wait-to-talk" feature requires that you wait for
all the other conversations from the other companies that
share your frequency to stop transmitting so you can talk.

Spirit® Professional two-way radios operate on business
radio frequencies, (not FRS) which adds to congestion on
the already overcrowded business radio service.
Not recommended for personal use.

Two channel operation allows twice as many users to
share the same frequencies with you and requires frequency
coordination with other companies in your area.

"Up to 4 mile range" means that you will recieve interference
and unwanted chatter from everybody else within a 4 mile radius.

Regardless of which 2 of the 8 frequencies you choose,
there will always be somebody telling you to "get off my channel!".

When you ask that person for their license information,
they will explain that "I don't need a license!".
When you explain the rules to them, they will argue
"your rules Do NOT apply to me!", then they will
start jammming you.

Here is a list of low power itinerant business radio frequencies:

1 464.5000 Brown
2 464.5500 Yellow
3 467.7625 J
4 467.8125 K
5 467.8500 Silver Star
6 467.8750 Gold Star
7 467.9000 Red Star
8 467.9250 Blue Star

Spirit® Professional two-way radios operate on
radio frequencies that are regulated by the Federal
Communications Commission (FCC). In order to transmit
on these frequencies, you are required to have a license
issued by the FCC....

GT Plus not as functional as T280
GT Plus does everything the T280 does, but it is much harder to switch frequencies & channels. The T280 is a much better product at a lower price.

NOT GMRS or FRS
This is a decieving radio. You need a business FCC license for it so you must apply for it and state your business need for these radio's. Its better to stick with GMRS or FRS unless you want to violate FCC R&R and use them for non-business use. There are FCC listeners everywhere that monitor the use of these frequencies and I have returned these radios and switched to GMRS. The claim that you have a 4 to 5 mile range is in perfect conditions, using these radios for the short time I had them gave me only minimal range increase from my FRS radios I've previously used. Range is dependent on the antennae and battery strength.

Very good except the range is terrible
This phone is almost perfect. It has all the features you might want, is easy to use, priced reasonably.

Unfortunantly, it has the smallest range of any cordless phone I've ever tried. Even 15 feet from the base station my reception isn't perfect. At 75 feet it is unusable.

Two caveats: I haven't checked the manual to see if there is a magic incantation that's required to get it to work properly. I have only played with two base stations and three handsets so I may have just had bad luck.

brother cts-400 4 line portable
in reponse to mr sharnoff comment on phone being unusable pass 75 ft.we use our portable in the 2-to 300 ft. range all the time as we have 2 business and use the phone between the 2,works great, maybe he needs to change location of base unit

Brother Quattro phone system
A feature packed product with few disadvantages. Works well, is easy to set up and use. Range of the 900MHz cordless indoors is a little disappointing, and a 2.4GHz version would be nice. Build quality is not the best, but is commensurate with the important part, i.e. the price! The starter kit is particularly good value, but while it is capable of expansion to 12 extensions, it becomes pretty expensive to do that, although one has to bear in mind that it is a 4-line device! The addition of a headset of better quality than the "free $20 value" one that comes with the kit would be a nice touch.

All in all, as a good 4-line system for a small premises, I can wholeheartedly recommend it!

Avoid Like the Plague
I have used Cobra Microtalk 3's for years and I was thrilled to see a higher-powered option. I purchsed two sets of these radios for use outdoors (4 total). As I was trying them out, I found that they were unreliable. I would call with one radio and only two of the others would receive. I would try again and only one would receive. I had one radio that would not transmit under ANY circumstances. I never got all four to work together at the same time. I returned one pack hoping I had a bad set, The new set gave the same response. I thought the price was awefully good. It turns out it was too good to be true. Invest in a better radio and you'll be happier. I ended up taking mine back and trading up.

They will please you - just don't expect to much from gmrs
This is about the 4th different model of GMRS I dealt with. In generall I have to say that I'm fairly dissapointed with the overall quality and transmitting range of GMRS products. And don't be fooled by the hype of 3 watts other models have or some fancy names (like X2) - they hardly work any better and the quality is sometimes very poor.
But considering the price tag and knowing what they are suitable for this particular model serves it purpose fairly well. The beauty of it is that they are very handy and lightweight. Fully electronic control buttons - no knobs to turn. Features Privacy mode/Scan/NOAA. The AAA battery package that comes with it holds up for exactly 1 day, charging time about 8 hrs. (I had models with 3 AA which held much longer.) Operating at 1 watt the transmitting range is slightly less than other 2watt models. Thumbwise you can say that they transmit up to 3 miles in line of sight and about 1 mile in an area with obstacles (mountain/buildings/etc...). The belt clip broke off, other than that pretty good quality.
I had 'em with me for a one week skiing tour in Aspen. If you and your body stay on one side of a mountain (over a mountain the signal deteriorates very quickly) it is really fun to have these. Sound quality is pretty good and we never lost each other.
Because of its ease of use, slime design and exceptable transmitting range they are best for keeping contact in parks, buildings and in the wilderness - not too far away and not too many obstacles in between.

Great sound and battery life
I took these with me on a backpacking trip up into the sawtooth mountains in Idaho. They had terrific range great sound and the batteries lasted the whole trip.

disappointing
i bought this a couple of months ago and was initially highly satisfied with the batteries. however, a week or so ago the charger stopped working. every time i'd plug it in the light would be on for half a second before going off. you could jiggle the charger in the plug to see if it worked, but the charger doesn't stay in the position.
so i'm basically left with four good batteries and a charger that doesn't work, and now i'm back to using my old charger which would take over a whole night to recharge.
you're far better off with a rayovac or something, the new ones which charge batteries in fifteen minutes.

Good, but Lenmar Gamma SpeedCharger is better
I have recently purchased a Canon A60-digital camera, which, like all other digital cameras, is a power-hungry device so it made sense for me to purchase rechargeable AA-NIMH batteries plus a charger. I evaluated MonsterCable pack (4-AA batteries plus charger) but I have found the Lenmar Gamma 1Hour the better choice. Lenmar Gamma provides higher-capacity AA batteries (2000mAH NIMH). Lenmar's charging-time is 65 minutes for 4 2000mAH AA-batteries; MonsterCable needs 3 hours. The Lenmar Gamma Mach 1 is designed with 4 separate circuits for charging one or two, or three, or four (AA or AAA) batteries. It has a plug-in cigarette adapter so one can charge batteries while in one's car (or SUV). The microprocessor-control is superior. Each cell is monitored and quickly and fully charged without overheating; then the current is reduced into "trickle-mode". [Note: it is not recommended to charge NiCad batteries on the Lenmar Gamma 1Hour Speedcharger.]

Reliable. Maybe expensive but I trust Monster
My techie friend w/ $$$ parents likes to buy Monster products so i gave it a try. I am a photographer and need good power when I am on the red carpet like movie premiers. This delivers enough juice for about 80-100 flashes and I exchange out to the 2nd set of Monsters I have. This is my budget way of getting good consumer batteries so I don't have to pay the $4-500 in a professional battery hip pack which would last me 900 flashes which I don't need. Decent product. The batteries are marketed well. These batteries I have are manufactured in China or Pakistan. Don't like it affects the quality.

Useless
What a disappointment. These don't work in 1/2 of the range advertised, and they eat 6 "AA" batteries in less than 2 hours (not constant talk time). Even with rechargables, the incredibly low battery life makes them useless.

Broke the first day
The range is good only in wide open space.

The PTT button broke the first day of use.

I recommed this product
I have been using the T5420 Talkabout for a year now and it still works great! You shouldn't expect to have an exact 2 mile radius unless you are in an open area - no obstructions, trees, walls, mountains, etc.

These radios come in handy when my friends and I go on long drives since it helps us keep in touch with each other across vehicles. We also use it during outdoor activities such as biking, skiing and snowboarding because these areas usually don't have cellphone coverage.

Charger or Discharger? Beware.
No instructions tell you to plug the unit into the wall before connecting your Palm. If you connect to the Palm first, the green power light on the unit will turn on even though it's not plugged into the wall. That's a bad sign.

After enough time, the Palm will not turn on because the charger has depleted the Palm. It will still charge the Palm (wall first, then Palm), but after 2 months of daily use my Palm went dead and could not be revived, either by soft or hard reset. Interestingly, placing the Palm in its OEM cradle showed its power light on, so it was (I think) still taking a charge.

Luckily, my Palm was still under warranty and I got a replacement, no questions asked. With my replacement Palm Tungsten T, I have kept this travel charger away from it completely. I am glad to see that this product is no longer available from Amazon. However, I'm still out the [money].

product is garbage, do not buy.
you plug it in , it does nothing. great money making idea for the company. they also charge 3 dollars a minute for customer support. it cost more than the product itself to tell them it does not work. the genius who came up with that should get a raise. it seems that iconcept is more of a scheme than a business, beware.

Wonderful alternative to Palm charger.
I own a m505 and the new Tungsten T m550. This charger works perfectly with both forming a tight connection on the universal port. A similar charger from Belkin does not securely work with the Tungsten T despite the universal connector. The Palm brand charger costs twice as much. ...This is a steal and even has a light on the adapter to show it is getting power. Highly recommended.
