The Lenmar Pro711 is an intelligent rapid charger, that is, it has a microprocessor that detectd negative delta voltage (-dV). A drop in voltage occurs when the batteries attain full charge. When the voltage-drop is detected by the microprocessor, the main charger is shut off (to prevent damage to the batteries from overheating) and a trickle-charge is initiated.

The Pro711 charges AA and AAA-sized batteries and four AA high-capacity NIMH batteries are included with the main charger. The Pro711 can be used on NiCad or NIMH batteries. {Rechargeable alkalines must not be used). Fully-drained Nicad charges in 1 hour (700mah), NIMH charges in 2 hours (1600mah) or more (2-1/2hrs for 2000 mah). Batteries must be "loaded" in pairs (2 batteries or 4 batteries at a time) and must be of the same type ( do not mix niCad and nimh batteries when charging). This Pro711 model works only with AC-input (110-240v input); the 12v-DC cigarette-lighter-adapter is an option and costs extra.

Just so you know, this product connects to the cigarette lighter adapter in your car. It is not a plug-in (to the wall) charger. I bought this item (at such a great price), but now I'm stuck returning it. It is a fine product, if you're looking for a car-charger, though.

I buy this thing because it was with special discount, practically the same price with SONY ACVQ50 that haves SQ technology but only one slot for one battery. The other unique difference is that the ACSQ950D have the plug and cord to connect to the cigarette lighter for your car. I was surprised when i read in the manual "This unit cannot charge two battery packs simultaneously", so compare price between the two chargers before buying. That's my advice.

I use this AC charger for my iPaq 3700 when I am on the road and away from the iPaq cradle attached to my desktop. It powers the unit when attached (and plugged into a wall socket, of course) and charges the battery. I often use my PDA to get my e-mail when I am on the road and using the adapter lets me keep the power up during my lengthy email sessions.

Why only three stars? Well, whether it is just my charger or if it is common to all chargers, the power seems to fluctuate while it is plugged in. If I have the backlight on, the light will literally pulse. It gets irritating enough for me to shut the backlight off. I have seen no problems with my PDA while using this charger, other than that pulsing. I assume that it has something to do with the waveform of the AC to DC power conversion, but I'm no electrical engineer. It does make me wonder, though, if it might not be the best thing for my iPaq.

DO NOT BUY THIS. Too much frustration. IT DOES NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY. Either there is something wrong with the battery or charger or the camera itself. Contacted Kodak about it, they sent another set (2AA NIMH Battery Pack NIMH & Charger) for free but still does the same thing. It charges for 10min then the lights go out on the charger indicating its done but when I used it in my DX4900 camera -only gets 3-5 shots then battery dies. I totally gave up.

This should not be listed as an accessory for the Kodak DX6490 which uses a Li-Ion battery only.

I have a Kodak CX3660 digital camera, and I bought this travel kit because of two major reasons:

1. I come from Spain, where the voltage is different, and it's usually a problem to find converters from 120V to 240V and viceversa. However, the battery charger included in this kit fulfills my expectations because a) it is a converter in itself, so it can be used with both voltage rates and b) it comes with different international adapter plugs, which means that I'll be able to use the charger in Spain as well.

2. I wanted to have rechargeable batteries. So far, I've had no problems with them. Usually, they are ready in about 2 hours. Plus, I don't have to worry about unplugging the charger after that time because it turns off on its own when the batteries are full. Regarding batteries' life, I must say that they've never failed me in the middle of any of my trips.

However, I was a little bit disappointed with the camera case: trust me, it's not big enough for any Kodak camera (at least not for any of the EasyShare models). Instead, I use it for my digital voice recorder, which is much smaller and fits well in it.

Other than that, the bag has enough room in it to carry both my camera and charger together. Besides, there are two small pockets where I can keep the batteries and the Memory Card.

In conclusion, I guess this is a good item for those of you that live somewhere between two different parts of the globe. Or for those who find yourselves travelling often around the world. On the other hand, if all that you're looking for is a good charger, I would recommend Kodak's rapid charger with 4 AA batteries.

I tried this mouse to see if I could avoid using my touchpad. Although it installed easily, movement was often jerky and slow. CRITICAL FOR ME: It drained my laptop battery much faster than normal. Also, if your USB port puts the receiver/dongle within sight, the blue light that flickers and flashes with every mouse movement is very distracting. With its batteries installed, this mouse is HEAVY! If total carry-around weight is an issue for you, or if you don't want your laptop battery drained, this isn't the right mouse for your ensemble. I took mine back for a refund.

When I first thought about buying this mouse, I wasn't impressed by the reviews. Most of them spoke bad about it and pointed a lot of weaknesses. But I decided to buy it anyway, since I had a friend at work who had one and was very pleased with it. The one I bought came with the cradle and I must admit that it's very useful, since you can charge the batteries when the mouse is not in use and also you can plug the receiver and keep working.
The mouse is very accurate and precise, the blue led from the receiver is nice to look at and, to tell you the truth,it doesn't bother me at all or distract me, like some people said it would.
My recomendation is: if you want a wireless pointing solution for your laptop, go for this one. It works fine and it's a lot smaller than some from other brands.
I paied 54.90€ for the whole pack and must say that I'm very happy with my purchase! Great value for money!

This new model is much better than the older unit. The greatest improvement is the on/off switch and power saving functions. The old version would only save batteries when it was left still, which never happens when it's in my bag and always ended up taking the batteries out which was a real pain.

I do not find the switch hard to use as some people have indicated. I have short nails and stubby fingers, but I have no problems with it. It's designed to not be accidentally switched off.

I use 700mAh NiMH rechargable batteries in the mouse and it's been a week now and I haven't had to change them with moderate use. I also find it comfortable to hold and pleasing to look at (important with laptops I think.)

The wheel rolls silently, but the clicking could be a little quieter since it is a laptop mouse that you may want to use in a classroom or boardroom.

The bendable usb adapter is a nice addition and I would recommend this mouse to anyone. I have used it successfully in Windows XP Pro, Gentoo Linux and FreeBSD.

it never worked;not even with the batteries it comes with!!!!

If you want a charger that automatically shuts off when done charging, this model isn't for you. It is capable of charging both AA and AAA batteries but nothing larger. The plug prongs on the back fold down for easier storage. You can charge other brands of NI-MH and Nl-Cd batteries but this one at least starts you off with 4 AAA NIMH rechargables. You could basically spend the money you would normally on disposables to buy this (how many batteries does your PDA eat?) Wouldn't it makes sense to give it a try?

DO NOT buy a refurbished set. Mine lasted just past the 90 day return policy and stopped working. Siemens are not interested in fixing it.

We've had the Gigaset 2420 with 3 wireless units for almost 3 years now. The battery life on the wireless hand sets has been terrible all along, and we've even tried changing the batteries. Now, one of the wireless base stations has starting to die on us. The conversation begins fine, and barely lasts for 20 seconds or so. The quality of voice starts to stutter and gets really..really choppy. Finally to the extent that one has to drop the call. Although its out of warranty, but for the of this system, one would not expect such a poor quality from such an expensive set. Our much inexpensive phones from other manufacturers are still working flawlessly.

I would NOT recommend this system to anyone.

THE PRICE IS GREAT WITH ALL THE REBATES OFFERED. YOU CAN ALSO ADD EXTRA HANDSETS TO THIS UNIT FOR EVEN MORE FEATURES LIKE PAGE,INTERCOM,SEPERATE VOICE MAILBOXES PER HANDSET AND CALL TRANSFER. BOTTOM LINE IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A 2.4GHZ PHONE DON'T WASTE TIME LOOKING AROUND . I DID THIS FOR YOU ALREADY .BUY THIS PHONE YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY.
