Stay Away!!!
I bought these thinking that they would help my grafitti recognician and would keep my screen w/o scratches, but I was TOTALLY WRONG!! There are 2 MAIN reasons why not to buy these.

1) Almost IMPOSSIBLE to get it straight on the screen and with out bubbles in it.

2)Makes your screen VERY blurry and hard to read. You can no longer use programs such as "Palm Mirror" because the shean on the screen that is used to give you a reflection, is gone.

Luckilly I was able to return these TWENTY DOLLAR dissapointments without any trouble. I can't strees enough, DO NOT BUY THESE unless you want to totally waste 20 dollars!!

Pristine Screen
They're Great-give 'em a five... well, they degrade visibility somewhat-but they reduce glare... and there's the speed thing.

PRO: *fairly easily applied, no different than taking care to apply any other adhesive. *protects entire screen from any scratches or smudges--or those annoying mini-scratches that accumulate in one area like perma-smudge. *the writing surface is somewhat less slippery, improving accuracy. *they say to replace them monthly, though they're not significantly depleted of utility by then. *reduces the glare on the screen. **SPEED: Because I'm no longer anxious about scratching the screen, I'm writing more quickly. This was nothing I anticipated and makes them well worth the minimal investment.

CON: *visibility issues-though these are greatly minimized by adjusting the contrast. *would be perfect if slightly easier to apply perfectly-I'm not particularly well coordinated, though, and I have done it repeatedly.

So maybe I'd give 'em a 4.5 if there were such a thing, but I can't, so five it is.

Great for protecting your investment
It takes a bit of patience to get this protective screen on, but it is worth the time, effort, and money that you put into it. It protects your Palm's screen from unnecessary scratches, and damages. It is great.

Just be patient, take your time, and put this on. Prevent costly damages from happening!

Not impressed at all
I bought the DVD DR from Digital Innovations in the hopes of restoring a couple of discs that I had that weren't working properly. After using the DVD DR. on them (One was a DVD, the other an audio CD) Neither disc is in any way usable. The DVD became completely unplayable, and the audio CD never showed any improvement, even after several attempts. I followed the directions, and even went online to see if they had any further advice on their website. I would not recommend this product.

Great Device
I had a $54.00 game that had a huge scratch in it. I used the DVD Repair Device (DVDDOCTOR) a few times on the place that was really deap and now the game works great like brand new. So just with that one game the DVD DOCTOR paid for itself. This device is great.

Works great
Get this It fixes any DVD disc you have. But don't use it on CDs

Idea is good, but...
Got the pack for my HP Jornada 548. It is basically a peel-and-stick film. Firstly, its size is less than Jornada's screen - about 1 to 1.5 mm on each side. Secondly, the film has some sticky residue that was left on the screen after I removed it. I like the idea of a sticker as opposed to original HP's "clip-ins," but it could be worked better. When returned to Amazon, I was warned I'd be charged return shipping costs because "item did not fit my equipment" was my fault (!??). Not a biggie, but description could be clearer to avoid similar experiences. Again, my experience applies to Jornada 520/540 series PDAs.

Works great for my Axim
I've got an Axim X5 and noticed that the screen size on this thing was exactly the same. They're WAY cheaper than the Dell brand ones, and they've worked great! Get some before you scratch your screen :)

Great Product
These Screen Protectors work just as advertised...Definetly a great buy at a great price!!!

    so so cleaner
If you're expecting the strength of a real steam cleaner in this little package, don't bother. It does an okay job of steaming things, but a pretty poor job of sucking up the wet mess you've just melted off your carpet. Not particularly strong, but easy to use.

WOW!!! BEST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE!!!!
I just bought this thing from Amazon and all I can say

    is WOW!!!!

This is probably the best purchase I have ever made.

This thing is everything I ever expected and more!! It's

very easy to use as well!

I have bought other brands before, and this one just

blows everything else out of the water! I have to say,

everyone out there who is thinking of buying this, stop

thinking. I bought it and I am extremely happy with it

the moment I powered this thing on. YOU ABSOLUTELY

POSITIVELY CANNOT GO WRONG WITH THIS PURCHASE! I

    GUARANTEE IT!!!

You get what you pay for
The price of this product makes it very appealing especially since it's only a fraction of what you'd pay for if you bought the Palm branded ones. However there is a catch. The connection is very loose and I've gotten my Tungsten to sync about 1/10 of the time. I'm now even very hesitant to use it primarily as a charger because I'm wondering if the current is even constant enough to not do any damage to my palm's battery. Well, if these things don't bother you, it's still a cheap and affordable product...

    Great Product! Great Price!
This is the best all in one solution. It came with a Sync and charge cable which seemed to work fine for me(I have been using it for over a month). It also came with the Travel charger which also works fine and charges pretty quick, I do alot of Worlwide traveling and it even came with adapter plugs. Finally I keep the car charger it my car and on the way home from work I charge my Palm and it gives me a full charge in less than a hour. All in all this is the best kit out there for the price and convenience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    HORRID! DOWN WITH FELLOWES!
Man, I got my self a PDA very recently. Toshiba e740. . .and it being a very costly thingy. . .thought I'd buy a pack of Fellowes WriteRights. My sincere advise - DONT BUY THIS (...). I just burnt (...) bucks man . ..down the drain. It was a traumatic experience.

Definite screen savers, but not perfect.
I tried the tip someone gave me about using the "old-style page protectors" to make static-cling screen protectors. When it didn't cling, I knew that was a waste of time. So I bought a package of these.

They were a little disappointing for the price. They don't precisely fit the Palm IIIxe's screen ... there's some exposed area around at least 2 of the sides, and the narrower bottom results in part of the sheet hitting the case, no matter how hard you try. (I suggest starting from the BOTTOM and working up, in spite of the instructions.) The adhesive, though, is a plus, though DO make sure you get your screen clean first!

My original cheap stylus scratched my screen. I bought the 3-pack replacement metal styli, but the scratch kept expanding. Everything still worked, but I knew it was going downhill. These protectors have helped me keep my screen going. I can tell some decreased screen sensitivity at times, but Graffiti writing DOES "feel" better with the rougher surface.

    Pretty Good Overall
I bought these and put them on my Visor Deluxe right after I pulled it out of the box. I really wanted to protect the screen of my first ever PDA, especially knowing that I would probably be using who-knows-what (finger, pen cap, etc.) as a pointing device. My first two attempts to put these on ended in frustration because of it either being put on upside-down or with tons of air bubbles. By the third attempt I was getting better.

First of all, these things last far more than a month. I have had my Visor for nearly a year and still have 4 left. And 4 of the others were either excessively abused or I didn't apply them right. I have stretched them up to 4 months at a time and they would still look quite good.

As for screen clarity, there is a small sacrifice there. I never knew what my Visor screen truly looked like until a month when I tried again to use a CompanionLink screen protector and noticed how much clearer the display was. But I took the CompanionLink protector off because my Visor's stylus recognition seemed to greatly suffer and the CompanionLink protector, while clearer, added lines to the display and was otherwise cheap. And the glare with those things on was horrible. I would rather have a slightly fuzzier display with a little less contrast than not be able to read the screen because of glare and annoying lines caused by a cheaper screen protector.

The WriteRights really do improve graffiti recognition and reduce glare significantly. And they do their primary job as a screen protector quite well, too. I still don't have even a single scratch on my screen.

And some tips for applying the screen protector without air bubbles, and this goes for any brand. Of course, make sure that your screen is spotless. Following the instructions on the WriteRights will go a long way, but I found that I just initially align and apply the small portion of screen protector that is exposed at first and just use the card that comes with it to do the entire rest of the process. I move the card forward accross the protector in short strokes to cover both sides of the protector and also peel the protector from its backing just using the motion of the card. Within 30 seconds or so the protector is on the screen completely without air bubbles. I tried this with the CompanionLink protectors with the same results (although those things are still terrible).

    It works well !!
I purchased the Skipdoctor and then came here and read the reviews. I must say on my first try, I was not impressed plus I felt I had to read the instructions repeatedly so not to screw it up. However, after reading the reviews I realized it was a good idea to use it at least three times for bad scratches. I am very happy to say it saved my treasured Metallica cds so for that alone I am deliriously happy. Skip doctor works well as I was very skeptical about these so called repair kits but please give this a try before you dump your cds. However my biggest grief with this product was the arm to put the cd onto. I was scared all the while about breaking it off when putting on and taking off my cd. Motorized version was not available for me to purchase but the cranking handle is not too bad. Filmsy plastic design. But otherwise it does what it says

    Worked for me....
Although it is kind of a pain to use- I haven't had any problems with it. My husband and I have fixed many many many cds and dvds with this and some of them had been found under the seat in his car w/o a case.(pretty banged up obviously) IMHO- you get what you pay for. Sure it didnt fix all of them but it did fix 95% of them, which for the price- is pretty good.

    Skip Dr.
I finally broke down and had to take a chance on this product, as i had several DVD movies that would no longer play becuase my 2yr old keeps getting a hold of them and scratching them up pretty bad. I went to Wal Mart and bought this product, and I'm very impressed as all my bad DVD's that wouldn't play , now play perfect and don't skip at all. For really bad CD's or DVD's, i keep the surface wet, and make 3 or 4 rounds on the media, and if it's not that bad i'll go once or twice. This is definatley a great product and recommend all of you that have media that no longer plays, or skips, to pick this up as you wont regret it. I would have snagged the motorized version of this but didn't have it in stock anywere, but this works just as well and is plenty cheaper than the motorized version.

    A waste of money.
These are a joke. They are soft and make the stylus drag IF you can get the thing lined up right on the screen. I threw them away after 10 minutes of struggle.

I waxed my screen. That's right WAXED IT! I had a bottle of ArmorAll Fast Wax handy. That is liquid, squirt it on car wax. I used a little dap and rubbed it in. I works GREAT! The screen is slippery and smooth as silk. It seems to repel finger prints and dust and wipes clean very easy. And it is cheap!

    Beats NuShield
I saw the rave reviews for NuShield and ordered them instead. Frankly, I'm disappointed. The NuShields arrived quickly, but were heavily spotted and very cloudy. The first one I installed was scratched too much to be useable within an hour. Considering the NuShields are five bucks per sheet, I was severely disappointed. I've used Fellowes sheets on two different types of Palms (Vx and Tungsten T) and although they're not crystal clear, they hold up and do what they say they will do -- protect the screen and remain read-through-able. Also, they don't glare in high light (NuShields do this even in minimal light) and the Fellowes don't reduce the apparant light from the handheld itself (the NuShields cut the apparent light by a good 50%). I'll be sticking with the Fellowes in the future.

    Does the job
I've used the fellowes WriteRights on several items, including watches, PDA's, Walkman, and cell phones. I'd definately recommend them if you are prone to banging up the faces on screens. Just make sure your screen is clean before you apply the film. I usually get about 6 months of use out of the PDA before I need to replace. Best to use right after you purchase your item. As for the people that are dissatisfied, I don't get it. I'm happy with them.

    Worst product I ever bought
This is one of the cheesiest companies out there. Stay away from them and their products.

    A little oversold
I read all the reviews on here and purchased the starter kit with my new clie based on the enthusiasm displayed. However, I am a bit disappointed. The 6 screen protectors were not universal, they were for specific handhelds and none for my clie. I tried cutting one to fit but ended up with alot of bubbles and just got rid of it. The case is a little bulky and prevents you from putting the PDA in your pocket. The wet dry wipes are okay but other stuff on the market, like glass wipes and alcohol wipes, will do the same thing. The only really useful item is the 4in1 stylus but the black ink quit working after 3 days. My advice is not to order this until you use the PDA for awhile and then decide that there are some additional items needed to make it more useful.

Great case, stylus and more for good price
Finally something of "all in one" types of products for maintaining your Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) for small price comparing to the price of items of same quality sold separately. I have Handspring and I found this product very useful because of great case of real hi-quality leather and multi functional stylus I felt in love with. I think that this product will satisfy needs of every owner of any type of PDA, never mind if it is Handspring, Palm, Sony, IBM or even Pocket PC. And I think that this is specially useful for those who recently bought new PDA and do not have time or will to experiment for choosing right case or spare styli, or as a gift for someone who spends time with PDA. I give it 5 stars.
