Handles multiple s-video, but no mixingHowever, it would be great if it also allowed the user to mix RCA-composite and s-video inputs to one s-video master output, allowing the signals of all input devices to show up with the best signal on the TV.
For example, a VCR with only RCA-composite output, when routed through a device with s-video inputs and outputs (e.g.-a digital video recorder, or DVR) to the TV provides dramatically better picture than if the VCR was routed to the TV's RCA-composite input.
If the Terk switcher provided mixing, then one could get much more utility out of said RCA-composite only VCR and the extra RCA-composite output jacks on DISH and DirecTV receivers.
So, if you're looking for mixing capabilities as well as switching capabilities, this device is not for you.

Thought it was good, but SO disappointing
Please withdraw my review
Heavy duty...and heavy! This thing weighs a ton. I am not frail, nor am I physically restricted. It pushes along well with the self-propelled feature, but it is very difficult to lift it off of the floor...
very cumbersome...and it is NOT a breeze to haul it out for a quick hair pickup.
If you have to get down on the floor to use an attachment to reach under something (such as the woodstove, etc.)be careful.
The hose is connected to the middle of the back of the machine.
When using the springy hose to reach back under, it can pull the handle end down on top of you. I wouldn't purchase this for my elderly Mom or for those with physical limitations.
The bags are pricey (about 7 bucks for 3) and the filters are about 8 bucks.
Although this monster does an acceptable job at cleaning, I would check the bagless options next time and look for something a bit easier to handle.

Does almost nothingSo don't waste your money on this product. If you want an electrostatic air cleaner find one with a fan. Before you buy you should really go read the online Consumer Reports report because a lot of air cleaners don't work very well.
AVOIDThe manufacture made me return it AT MY OWN EXPENSE and then they sent me a new unit. Took 2 months.
Well, the new unit arrived 8 days ago. It died an hour ago. I called the customer service and refused to pay to send it back AGAIN.
They ARE sending me out a new unit (again), but it will take up to 10 business days to receive. They agreed to send a pre-paid shipping label this time too. (Could take a month though.)
Meanwhile, I have nothing. After reading the reviews below, I could have kicked myself. I subscribe to the online version of Consumer Reports so did what another did...looked it up. Consumer Reports says this Ionic Breeze only "removes a few particles from the air", nothing else. They also did the test, as the infomercial showed, of putting the Breeze in an enclosed space with smoke and turned it on. It did NOT do what the infomercial said. It did not "power through smoke". It did nothing.
I am taking the advice of Consumer Reports. I am refunding my money on the Breeze and purchasing "the high-scoring Friedrich C-90A and Whirlpool AP45030HO models" which DOES work...and work well.
Avoid the Ionic Breeze unit, for the home AND/OR the car.
It does work
- Room air cleaner circulates and cleans air with no motor, no fan and no noise. Key features include absolutely silent operation; proven efficient air cleaning; odor reduction; no replacement filters; low energy use; lightweight, attractive housing; continuous air cleaning.
- Our tests at leading research centers show that Ionic Breeze does a great job capturing particles like pollen, dander and other airborne allergens and irritants. Quadra Compact has been tested at America's leading allergy research center, prominent universities and independent labs to confirm its efficient trapping of airborne particles of one micron or larger.
- Save money! There no messy, expensive filters to find, buy, store and replace. Quadra is an electrostatic precipitator that charges airborne contaminants and traps them on oppositely charged stainless steel collectors that wipe clean. Quadra Compact is powered by only 6 watts. Compared to high-watt HEPA machines, it pays for itself in less than a year.
- Cleans 24-7! Turn off a noisy HEPA air cleaner and air pollution goes right back to where it started. All air cleaners should run continuously but noisy fans and expensive 200-watt power demands make that impractical with those big HEPA machines. Silent, low-energy Ionic Breeze is designed to run continuously. Plug into 3-prong outlet.
- Quadra is 19" tall and 4 1/4 lbs, with almost the same cleaning power as the larger Quadra. Uses only 6 watts. Extra collection grid available (SI939). 5-year warranty. Two Sharper Image Ionic Breeze Quadra Compact Silent Air Purifiers (two Gray; 50% off the 2nd) with one FREE $69.95 Air Freshener (SI697GY2). Created by Sharper Image Design®.

Not Worth the TroubleAlthough they clean the air, they require VERY frequent and VERY thorough cleaning (NOT because my air is any dirtier that yours either).
Cleaning is required almost weekly, never any longer than 2 weeks, and to clean them thoroughly is VERY DIFFICULT. If they are not cleaned regularly, they become very noisy, making highly irritating static and crackling sounds.
To clean them, I remove the grids, take the remaining cases/enclosures outside, and blow them out thoroughly with compressed air. Then I turn them upside down a few times per the instructions, and then I blow them out some more. And then I wash and dry the grid as the instructions call for. What a PAIN!
Also these things do not come back on automatically after a power failure.
I am sorry I bought them, especially considering how expensive they are.
Eh, it's OK.This air purifier is OK, but considering the price as compared to other types of purifiers, it ought to be fantastically special. Originally we used it in a rec room right next to the kitchen. Noticeably less dust collected on the TV screen, and cooking smells disappeared rapidly. On two occasions when smoke filled that end of the house (there are 2 extremely absent-minded people living here, who sometimes forget they're cooking something, and who seem to consider the smoke alarm as a cooking timer), there was just too much in the air for the poor Ionic Breeze to really help. Anyway, after 8 months the IB started to hiss, crackle and pop, although it was cleaned weekly, so it got shut off, never to be used in the rec room again. It was moved into a bedroom where the dog sleeps, and it has done wonders for removing doggy smell. It's hissing and crackling louder than ever, despite all efforts to clean both the wires inside the unit, and the collection plates. But it is still dealing with odors well, so...I'm willing to keep it until I decide to get something else.
I knew that the noises on the IB would show up at some point (just not so early), because a good friend had the same experience with his unit. Although he had warned me, I bought one anyway, thinking "Well, I'm not a slob like you and I'll actually clean mine so I won't have the same problem." How wrong I was.
Sometimes there's a noticeable bleachy smell, but that's a great improvement over noticeable doggy smell.
I only gave it 2.5 stars because although it works (over 1.5 yr now) it's still too expensive. Not a good value.
great machines but recommend the UVG ones higherI have had several air machines designs to clean the air in the house to cut down on all sorts of indoor pollution. But living in a very old house you have a lot of dust, so most have the filter run out in a matter of 6 to 8 months. If you have any hepa filter types you know this is the same situation as the printers for your computers. You get the printer for next to nothing, but the ink cartridges cost and arm and a leg! Same with hepa filters. IF you can find them. Why is it when you need one, you can never find the one you want?
I now have a total of 5 of these machines in my house and I could not live without them! It's so amazing. You don't hear a noisy fan going like you do with the other filtering machines. They are totally silent. But ever five foot away, you feel the gentle breeze, smell the beautiful air. I notice the cats really love them. They will get in the path of these breeze and just sit there inhaling the lovely smelling air. They have UV lights to help kill germs. I noticed this year, we got through with no flu (first time in 7 years!). No colds.
Now that allergy season is hitting, they are a must. They are a snap to clean. Just take the core out, wipe down and get rid of the nasty uglies that you would have been breathing.
I did have problems with the machines malfunctioning. But Sharper Image quickly replaced them with new ones, they even paid for the return postage. Since replacement, I have had no further problems. I do recommend following directions on maintenance. If have to turn them up and down several times after cleaning. If you don't do this you could end up with problems, but they come with a video explaining everything, so if you don't follow instructions you only have yourself to blame.

I Want My Money Back and A New CD
BAD
Not disappointedI did have to do it twice. The second time, I let it dry for much longer than the instructions say. It was nearly dry by the time I wiped the paste off. When I do this, the results are much better.

Could it make it worse? One is a game and the other is a multimedia CD. The Multimedia CD was able to be played before but only one segment was unable to be played. Now the whole thing is having a problem loading and I am unable to see any of the program (It was the Insiders Guide to Episode I). Obviously this isn't good. The game is now completely unable to load. I'm extremely disappointed. I only wish sueing was an option...
My guess is these scratches are unrepairable but why this would make the CD worse is beyond me. It seems they want you to buy their CD cleaning product in addition as this one seems to 'dirty' them up a tad. ;o)
My advise would be to save your money or try another (more expensive) product. Luckily I only paid around 6 bucks!
Allsop CD Scratch-Repair KitI have been using Allsop products for years, this is my first disappointment with one of their products.
Comparison of this to other productsI personally reviewed this product compared to 6-7 other products that are similar when we were looking for the best repair solution available.
Basically, what I found is that the Allsop repair solution was one of the top two products that I tested. The only other comparable product had a two part solution, sandpaper, and polishing cloth...it also costs almost 3 times the price.
The main thing that I have found with CD scratches is that it is a VERY fine line between what scratch can be repairable, and what can't. It is also makes a HUGE difference what direction the scratch is in. If it goes along the radius of the CD, it is far less likely to be repairable than one that goes across the CD. Also, the depth and magnitude of a scratch is very unpredictable as to it's repairability or not.
If a scratch on a CD IS repairable, I've found this product to be one of the best I've used yet.

- Anodized aluminum case protects PDA during everyday use
- Hotsync and charger cable synchronizes data quickly with PC
- 12 screen protectors keep PDA screen free of scratches and damage
- 3 replacement styli for use anywhere
- Compatible with the Palm M500 Series
List price: $39.99 (that's NaN% off!)

You get what you pay for.The stylii that are bundled with this are also cheap, very much lighter than the stylus that comes with the Palm. I didn't like the screen protectors, either. I tried one, and to be fair, I may not have applied it correctly. I felt it obscured the screen somewhat.
I didn't try the syncing cable.
If you think you might like this, I strongly suggest you find a retail store where you can try it before you buy it. Amazon.com adds shipping charges to returns and it'll end up costing me about $...-$...to return it.
Case is ok, stylii useable, screen protectors uselessThe stylii that come in this kit are just ...plastic ones, even though those depicted on the package look like the original metal one.
The screen protectors are useless. In addition to being difficult to apply, they aren't even big enough to cover the screen. I aligned the top and then the bottom came up about 5mm short. I have some WriteRight protectors from my old IIIe that I'm going to trim to fit the m500 screen instead.
I haven't tried the sync cable yet, but it seems well made. I didn't realize until I got it that it also charges your palm using the USB.
What you get with this is:
1. a decent case - not the best, but it gets the job done
2. some cheezy plastic stylii
3. some useless clear stickers
4. what appears to be and probably is a fine sync/recharge cable.
