WOW!!!! I love this cloth. The little "nubbies" look and feel great, and I was able to clean my CDs and DVDs without scratching or any messy sprays. It was easy to use and store .. .came with a handy jewel case, so I can keep it right with my CDs.

I am pleased with my recent purchase of this product. When left running constantly, there is a noticeable fresh air smell. When located near a source of odor such as recently fried bacon, this unit very quickly dissipated the smell from the house. I would recommend this item for a small area but it is far too small to be effective for a large room.

1. This air purifier is a must for people with allergies and asthma. Do you just know when it is cold outside by sneezing because the heater came on? I do. If you do too, I personally recommend this product.

2. low maintenance work at no cost. No filter change is required. All you need is to wipe it with a dump cloth.

3. Absolutely quiet. And, it lets you know when to clean by making static noise.

4 It might save you lots of money in the long run. I am off the expensive allergies and asthma medication such as singulair.

I clean a lot of windows so I'm pretty picky about what I use, and I've found Windex to be the best glass cleaner around. It gets most everything off (grease, caked on stuff, fingerprints, etc), doesn't streak, and is inexpensive. What more could you ask for? Sometimes I even use it for other general kitchen and bathroom cleaning when I'm in a pinch. (Hey, it works!)

Thus, I don't reccommend this product. But if it worked for others, it might work for you.

Over the course of the last few months my CD player had gone from the occasional skip to eventually not being able to play a CD at all. 5 minutes after my package arrived with this CD cleaner in it and I was playing CDs again. I can also play CDRs now, something my stereo hasn't been able to do for six months.

My CD player was very dusty and it would not play very clearly. I used this product and it helped greatly.

Okay first of all, if you expect the repair portion of the product to make the play surface of your disk look like new, you will be sadly disappointed. I tested the product on a CD-R that had some scuffs. It removed the scuffs, but it leaves lots of little micro-scratches in the direction your buff the disk. This is why it warns you to make sure you buff in a radial direction. These marks will not cause any problems when they are in a radial direction because of the error correction bits on the disk; but if they were in a circular direction, they could cover all the error bits for one piece of data. You do need to bring the disk close enough to your face to see these micro scratches though. Also, do not expect it to remove any scratches with any depth. You might be able to get rid of them will a lot of work using the polishing strips provided with the product (which are essentially sand-paper), but once again you will be adding micro scratches to the surface of the disk.

As for the protection portion of the product, all it really does is make the disk surface anti-static. Thus you should not get a bunch of dust sticking to the disk. If you are expecting some miracle protective coating to stop the disk from being scratched when you drop it on the road accidently, you mine as well look somewhere else.

This product works as advertised. So far it has flawlessly repaired 5 music CD's and one computer program CD. The computer disk had a deep scratch and would hang up at a certain point in the program. Now it works fine.

This fixed a fairly deep scratch to a CD I just bought, which I accidentally damaged while putting the CD back in the case. I've also used this to fix every damaged DVD I've rented from Blockbuster. No more returning movies because they skip. Fixing a CD or DVD takes only about 5 minutes.

To be fair, the first week I used it, it was wonderful. Within an hour of turning it on it took all the cigarette odor out of the room and I could smell the air refresheners again. But after that it just went downhill fast.

This Vornado air purifier arrived on mid to late September, and by the end of October it was time for a new Hepa Replacement Filter..., and a new pack of carbon filters...After only 6 weeks???

The room that this Vornado system is in is 10x9, hardly a large room, but within 6 weeks of buying this unit the filters need to be replaced.

And by the way...it is LOUD!
I have to turn it completely off when I'm on the phone, or I can't hear the conversation.
The medium setting is so loud it gives me a headache.

My roommate owns another air purifier and he makes comments about what a bad purchase my Vornado was because his is quiet and really purifies the air. He smokes three packs a day and you'd never know it with his filter.

One last thing...if you look at the Vornado replacement filters, both the hepa and the carbon, you'll notice theyre usually 1-2 weeks before they ship. Keep that in mind and order very early, as I've been waiting 3 week now and still haven't gotten my filters. And except for amazon I can't find anyone else who sells them. Not even on the manufacturers website.

I *cough* wish I bought a different air purifier *cough* *cough*.

We have allergies. We are living in a small apartment. I took a chance on this unit because we had a small HEPA filter before and it does help to freshen air quite a bit.

The good news: this unit circulates a good amount of air--we are able to filter most of a small open studio apartment with it. The air seems fresher and "lighter" after running the filter all day. Nice to rid the air of cooking odors, cat fluff, dust and pollen.

The bad news: on any setting but the lowest, you do hear the fan. Vornado is excellend at creating units that move air efficiently but like any good-sized fan, it makes noise when it's really cranking.

The design is unobtrusive and fits behind an armchair. On the whole, we are pleased with it, and it does help the air quality to a satisfactory extent.

Like many other air filters, this features a squirrel cage blower to decrease noise. Five speed fan. Top exhaust. Easy to clean inlet louvers (the whole front panel removes quickly and easily for washing and the louvers are spaced apart so you can get in there with your hand). The large HEPA filter has a washable and cheap to replace pre-filter. The filtration path is excellent and sealed to prevent bypass flow.

The only downside is the noise (all of these air cleaners are loud, in my opinion because they all are made of lightweight materials) and the cost of filter replacement. The HEPA filter is about [price] to replace and, although that is ridiculously expensive, all the air cleaners are that much.

Vornado seems to make excellent products and they certainly didn't rush to market with this one. They took the time to design it right.

I had this unit a little over a year when the fan motor died. Worked perfectly until that happened 24x7. I think for someone who need ocational air cleaning it would be good, but if you want a unit to run 24x7 look elsewhere...

I live downstairs in an apartment building, and the quiet setting is great to filter out noise from my upstairs neighbors. Very happy with this purchase

I purchased this filter a month ago. I love it. The UV light is awesome for the price and best of all this is a fairly quiet filter. I love the quick clean setting and use it after the dog has been in the room. It has made a huge difference and my husband and I are both sleeping much better. Highly recommended. You can't get a better filter for the money.

Have had an Ionic Pro for about a month. The room air certainly smells cleaner. Don't know if this is from ozone or not. The filter blades begin to give out a slight sizzle after about a week of use. Booklet recommends cleaning every week. You have to lay it down horizontal to extract the blades. And a damp paper towel with some cleaner on it is best for removing the black build up on the blades. Then the instructions tell you to let the blades dry for 24hours. A bit inconvenient. Extra blades are $30.

Same performance as the ionic breeze and $200 less! But a study of consumer reports says that these ionic air cleaners don't work very well because they don't move the air. Easily fixed with a small fan! So for this price + $10 fan you get better performance and price than an ionic breeze and the same performance as an orek ionic air cleaner that has a built in fan. I'm happy with this purchase.

My husband and I love the Ionic Pro! It is awesome, just awesome. We decided to make our apartment a healthier environment. We have started using non toxic cleaners, natural paper products and decided to get an air purifier. We compared this to the Sharper Image Ionic Breeze Quadra, and it is $200 less. This works wonderful. We breathe better and the air is pure and clean! We have a cat and this helps remove dander, it has also cut on the dust. People who visit tell us our apartment is like a breath of fresh air. We cannot believe the difference! It is so easy to operate and the blades are easy to clean. A huge benefit is no filters to replace. We are definitely buying another Ionic Pro. We recommend this to everyone. It is definitely house, lung, body and mind friendly. And it produces a clean nice scent. We could not be without it. A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
