Very odd -- the description says to order now to get on line for when it's available, but 18 hours after I ordered two of them they were delivered. Even with super saver shipping, which is supposed to take 9 days. It's like I have an Amazon shipping facility in my basement. If you order it, you'd better be ready for it!

I also live in downtown Manhattan, and construction on my building's roof has been spewing dust and dirt everywhere. I have this air purifier in my bedroom, and it has been very effective with reducing my usual spring allergy symptoms.

Most of all, I love the fact that this air purifier is so effective without being loud like other air purifiers -- while it isn't quite "silent," on low the air purifier is whisper quiet, so I have no trouble falling asleep with it on. I also like the "no draft" technology, so it also isn't windy like other air purifiers.

The only thing I would add to other reviews is that it is actually a little bigger than it appears in this picture. The fact that it can't be placed flush against a wall is a downer, but overall, I have been very happy with this purchase! Also, I inexplicably received this just one day after I ordered it even though the listing says it is not currently in stock.

We live in a "rear" studio apartment in Manhattan. There is major construction in the backyard with Jackhammers busting large granite rocks! The dust raised is incredible. This is a daily event for a few weeks to come. A fine layer of dust settles on everything daily. However our new (had it 2 weeks) 18150 has enabled us to breath without sneezing and our eyes have stopped watering. I use all 3 speeds. Hi when we are out, medium when we are home, low for sleeping. While for safety reasons I can't "recommend" this, due to lack of space in our little studio I hang the device from the ceiling using the handle and it seems happy to be there. The control panel is right next to the staircase to the sleeping loft so it's a snap to change the speeds. Tip: to avoid a "a bit of dust falling out" when changing the "pre-filter" give it a bit of vacuuming from the outside (all around) prior to removal of the bottom pre filter access door. (Extra easy to access when hanging!)

I think that anyone that has a cd player should indeed buy this. It will really keep your cds looking great and they will play forever. If you don't have these cloths, you need to get them. trust me, you will not be sorry and some day you will thank me for this!

This product is the ideal for cleaning CDs or DVDs. You could ruin your player with the dust that falls off the CD/DVD on to the lens. This is what happenned to my Pioneer DV525 player. This material does not act like any normal material and make sure no harm can come to your DVD or player. If you want to protect your investment (DVD or DVD Player) you must buy this. It is almost a lifesaver.

Allsop provides agreat product for a low price. You will be satisfied. I haven't had a problem with dvd,cd,or cd-r.

This screen cleaner is very easy to use. All you need to do is use 2 cloths, one which is moist for wiping the screen, and the other which is dry for drying the screen. After doing this I found my screen to be almost as clean as when I first bought my PDA. The only downside is that it only comes with 12 wipes. On the other hand though it comes with a TrueTip stylus making this buy a great value.

First, I spend quite a while comparing this ... 12 clensing tissues and how much I love my pocket pc. Finally, after order and use it, surprisingly my ipaq screen friction just gone!! I also feel that there is a protection film on the screen. And the best thing is, although not recommend, the polish cloth seems to be reusable, so 1 pack of this cleanser can be used for a year. It's also good for my eyeglasses.

At first I was optimistic with this product, partly because of the price, but I noticed that the TrueTip finger stylus was also included, so I decided to purchase it. The first time I cleaned my screen, it looked brand new! The moist cleaning cloth (step 1) cleans all the dirt, grime, dust, and fingerprints from the screen, the polishing cloth (step 2) really shines the screen up, looking like brand new! I have a few very small scratches on the screen, they seemed to have disappeared after polishing, however, your milage may vary. An added bonus to this great combination was the TrueType Finger stylus. At first it took some getting used it, it is kind of flimsy, but after a couple minutes it works like a charm. I found using my Palm pilot is more comfortable now when using the finger stylus. To keep your screen in ship-shape, clean it using the CompanionLink Screen Cleaner and polish it (just as the directions say), and use the Fellowe's WriteRight screen protectors right after the cleaning, your screen will stay just as it was the day it was bought! The screen protectors last about a month a piece (there are 12 in a pack), so this product should last about a year as well if you use it as I just said! I noticed it said on the box it also cleans eye glasses, computer screens, CD's, DVD's and Laser Discs!

I treat my CD's pretty well, but I would say 1 out of 30 CDs will have a scratch large enough to confuse my CD players. With a little elbow grease and this product, I have been able to fix most of these CDs. The ones that could not be repaired actually had data errors on the top of the disc. Before using this product, I would just stick the CD into a CD-ROM, copy the contents to my HDD, and burn a new CD. Using the disc restore, I don't have to go through all that hassle.

It does take some work, but it does work how the manufacturer claims.

The discrx is by far the best disc restorer product that I have ever used. The product is very simple to use and there is no evidence of the repaired disc ever being damaged. I strongly recommend the use of this product!

I had an album by The Who and another by KISS that I could not play because of scratches. DiscRX allowed me to fix them so that I could play them again. A great product! I highly recommend it to anyone who has the same problem.

I bought it in a hurry way because I got a problem with one DVD, wich is my favourite one... "The Matrix". So I got quickly and I can It has worked in an exellent way, I think. The fact is that the product is easy to use and fast, it doesn't get on troubles to the eldes't member of the family... generally, they suck using electronics. So, I recommend it to you in case you're very angry with your broken DVD's.

I got one of these a while back as a gift and I'll tell ya, it has repaired no fewer than 10 of my old scratched cd's and one of my DVD's. It is awesome and pays for itself in no time at all.

The Harmony Air Purifier has turned out to be a great little workhorse of a machine! I have dogs and this machine does a great job of removing their dust, hair and dander from the air. The only problem I have is the noise. The Harmony is not loud, but it is noticeable. Filter replacement is easy. Filter costs can add up. The recommended replacement on the Hepa filter was 12-18mos, but I needed to replace after 8 months of hard use. Overall I reccomend it. Good Quality, Great Price.

I bought the Holmes HAP625 a month ago from Amazon and love it. It's easy to move around from room to room. At night I left it on "low" between 2 bedrooms. In the morning, my severe allergies -stuffed nose and itchy eyes disappeared. The air flows upward, so it doesn't hit your face if you are sleeping. It fits nicely with my house decor. I would highly recommend this purifier to anyone with severe allergies. California 3/4/04

I purchased this item for my office desk. It is so worth it. I dont know what I would do without it now. A must buy for the business man that needs to see info on his palm with out too much effort. Every thing is right there proped up in front of you.

I had a DVD movie disc with a sticky glob of who-knows-what on it. Every time the disc was played, on the DVD player, the distortion and interference worsened. Instead of replacing the disc for (Money), I gave the Maxell Wet DVD Disc Cleaner a try for (Money). It cleaned the disc and there is not any problem, distortion, interruptions etc. what-so-ever with the movie - now. The problem is, I used up both spongy cleaning pads provided. I really don't want to use the pads on another disc, and there are no other pads to purchase...rendering my cleaning kit useless until I can replace the cleaning pads. MAH

When my CDs started skipping I thought they has seen the last days of spinning, however this Disc Cleaner has solved all problems. You simply put the CD into the cleaner with the label side down. Then, you spray the disc cleaner to the disc surface. You only apply one even spray of cleaner. Then, you close the case and make sure the lid is totally closed.

Once you have cranked the movable part of the lid about 5 times, you can remove the disc and let it dry completely. Most of the cleaner was absorbed into the cleaning pad after the recommended 5 rotations. I found that 8 or 9 rotations did the trick.

The first time I used this cleaner I was a bit frustrated with it because I noticed little pieces of black foam all over my CDs. Apparently, there is a little piece of foam in the middle that looks like it belongs there and it seems glued down, but once I removed that piece of foam, all was go.

This unit comes with one additional cleaning pad. I think if you are just using this to remove fingerprints, you won't have to replace the cleaning pads very often.

Overall, YES this thing works with Roomba with no doubt! But you gotta consider the price is way to high for just a virtual wall unit.....

I bought the Roomba Elite Pro which includes 2 virtual wall units. They work exactly as advertised. Roomba doesn't go across the wall. I can push my mess to one side of the room, set up this virtual wall, and let Roomba run. When it's done, I push the mess to the other side of the room (which is now clean) and let Roomba clean the other half of the room. I can clean the apartment without having to clean-up first. Now, only if iRobot can come up with something that put stuffs back on the shelves....

One annoying thing is, it doesn't come with the 2 DD batteries required. It's not that expensive to include two cheapo non-alkaline batteries with the unit, consider how expensive they sell this thing for. People don't generally stock DD batteries. When we unpack it, we want to be able to test it out "right away".

I FIND IT WORKS FINE ,AND IT KEEPS THE VACCUM IN THE ROOM,YOU WANT IT TO STAY IN.

I just purchased all three Vornado air filters: the AQS15, AQS25, and the AQS35. All have the same basic design, and the higher the model number, the larger the size. The AQS25 and 35 deserve five stars: good design, and quiet operation. The AQS15, however, has one major problem. It is loud. On its lowest setting (of the three speeds it has), it is as loud as either of its bigger siblings on their highest settings! The AQS15 is so loud that I personally can't stand to be in the same room with it. An air filter should be seen and not heard. I don't know why it is so loud, possibly because of its small size and the huge volume of air that it moves. I own other Vornado products, such as their heater, fans, and humidifier. This is the first time Vornado has disappointed me.

Bottom line: if you want a *quiet*, high quality HEPA air filter, get the AQS25 or 35. The AQS25 is the best buy for the money. On the other hand, if you don't mind having a filter that sounds like an old fashioned 9-horsepower box fan, then get the AQS15. Aside from the Vornado design, the only thing this filter has going for it is its small size.

Works great, but also generates enough white noise to drown out street noise and neighbors. If you live in a city, and have trouble sleeping; try using this air filter.

It is a loud machine but it's great for me because I live on a noisy street and it blocks out all the other sounds so I can sleep at night! It works great too, and it's small in size and not heavy, so when I have people over that smoke I move it to the living room or wherever we are and it completely eliminates the smell.
