    SLOW RESPONSE
THE MOST FRUSTRATING ITEM ON THIS CAMERA IS THE SLOW RESPONSE TO TAKE THE PICTURE. PUSH THE BOTTOM, AND WAIT A SECOND OR MORE BEFORE IT RESPONDS . . . MOST OF THE TIME MISSING THE SHOT YOU WANTED TO GET.

    !!
good camera with lots of features. flash, red eye, night pictures, landscape, date and time. every picture i took was excellent

    2 thumbs up
This camera is the best one I own. Good features on it. You can change the style in which the date appears, add the time or nothing at all. Theres a feature in which you can take pictures at night and landscape.I would recomend to anyone who wants a good and reasonable priced camera

There is no market for this camera.
I bought this camera and regret it since returning it will cost a huge restocking cost (i didn't buy it at amazon). For the same price as this A203...you can find the 3mpix version the A303. So why does Fuji even make this A203? I'm not sure. A good price for this camera would be (One hundred ninety nine dollars).

As for the camera itself, its picture quality is impressive...but the most annoying characteristic is its around 4-second delay after taking each picture. That means you cannot take pictures in rapid succession. Aside from that, it's controls are very easy to use, battery-life is excellent, and its compact size make it nice camera...but do yourself a favor and buy the A303. Might as well get 3mpix for the same price as 2mpix.

Another thing about this camera is that it is one of the few that is Made in Japan. So there is no cheap Chinese or Mexican labor involved in manufacturing this camera.

    Excellent
Its a nice camera, compact, and the quality of pictures is sharp & very good. I shopped a lot of cameras and brought earlier sony & returned it & brought this one. This is pretty good in indoors as well as outdoors. The memory is pretty good very fast. For the price, it has lot of features & very handy.
I recomend this to people to also wants the quality of indoor shots good & outdoor ofcourse is good in most cameras

    Good reliable camera
This is a great camera, but the only problem is that its out dated. There are better, faster, and more stylish camera's out there now. But from when i bought it, till now, it has given me no problems.

    very good buy
I have one of these Canon Snappy camera's.... and I am very pleased with the photo's I have got with this camera. You cant go wrong, buying this camera, except that it is zoomless, and you need a good expensive film, for best results.

    GOOD PICTURES, BUT FRAGILE
The Canon Snappy is compact, takes brilliant and sharp pictures (it has a high quality lens), and the auto-manual flash feature is very useful, but the lens cover tends to fall when you pull it to start shooting photographs, this is very unpleasant when you are climbing a mountain or crossing a river. The worst thing with this terrible design problem is that the lens cover is also the ¡MAIN SWITCH!, so if the cap disapears, you will be unable to turn the device off and protect the lens. It is very difficult to put the cover in the camera again. The Snappy works well in domestic situations but I would better buy the NIKON NICE TOUCH.

    Just an okay camera
This camera is very stylish looking but the quality of the photos are mediocre at best. Even using 400 or 800 speed film doesn't help. It takes great close-up shots, but when you get far away....no good. Subjects are hazy and blurry...but like I said close-ups are great.

    Very cool
This camera has everything that you are looking for! I got it in March, and I still havent' had to change the batteries-very good! Also, it's nice and small so it will fit almost anywhere. The shape is cool too!! The cord is VERY nice, so you can put it around your neck when you don't want to hold onto it anymore. You should definately buy this camera.

Holga 120S Medium Format Viewfinder Fixed Focus Camera with Built-in Lens

    Great quirky medium format camera
Ok, this is not your basic point-and shoot, in fact the camera as it is shipped barely works at all- you'll have light leaks, the back will fly off, it shoots in a rectangular rather than square format, blah, blah. But, if you want to really break out of conventional photography and have some fun, this is the way to go.

Do some searching around on the Internet about how to modify one of these babies, though. Mine has no light leaks, can be used in a "bulb" mode, and shoots square format, as a holga should if you want to see the kind of edge distortion and vignetting holgas are famous for. I can also run cheap 35mm through it, for an interesting effect. Email me for more info on how I made my modifications, I'm happy to help.

Also, for relatively inexpensive mail-away 120 processing (both color and BW), Vermont Color is the way to go- look them up.

    Lowest Price Medium Format
I love my Holga (been shooting about 3-6 rolls a year). It is the lowest priced medium format camera short of building your own out of plywood. Be cautious removing the film, do it in low light (it tends to unspool slightly, and it's easy to burn the edge of the undeveloped film). I tape all the seems on mine after I load it, helps avoid light leaks, and it is easy. Both black and white as well as color photos can come out well, and medium format gives you the option to blow up pictures to very large sizes (the negative is quite large compared to 35 mm, or APS formats. So, if you want to experiment a little, and you want to shoot some 120 film without spending 350 on a SeaGull, or 1,000+ for a Pentax645 Then a Holga for under 20 or 30 bucks is perfect. I've had mine now for about 4 years.

      not that great
i do not think that this is good film. i would suggest going with the 400 speed.

      Great film!!!
I have been using this film and only this film for my Canon aps camera for over 4 years. The prints come out with outstanding quality. It is great with taking pics indoors with dim lighting. The pics came out great and the faces were clear instead of black dots on shoulders. The outdoor pics are amazing. They are rich in color and full of detail. This film is also great at the beach. The pics do not come out overexposed or too bright. This film evens out the lighting and balances it perfectly so that you get the best shot. Most of my pics are frameable and everyone wants copies of them.

      Good value for the price
We used the film with a cheap camera on our last trip and I truely didn't have my expections too high but all pictures came out nicely. Pictures we took in the evening did not come out as clear (greyish), possibly due to the quality of the camera. All in all - Strongly recommend.

Great versitility at an exceptional value
Kodak makes great film, and Gold Max is one of their best amature films. This film provides maximum versitility for outdoor sports, and for the decently lighted indoor shots. Grain structure is good, holding well up to an 8"x10" print. Best part about this film is the price...I think Kodak and Amazon.com have a real winner here.

KODAK T-Max 400 Pro Black & White Film [24 Exposures]
      Made by Kodak
      • Black and White photo film
      • 24 exposures
      • Compatible with most 35mm cameras
      Amazon base price: $
      Average review score:

      Decent
This is a decent and relatively flexible fast b&w with horrible tonal range. There is not enough detail in highlights or shadows with this film as compared to Ilford and other company's offerings. It is all around just not very impressive. Yes, it is true that it is can be pushed, pulled and do the hokey pokey, but whatever you use it for, the negatives produced are flat and without the kind of range that other 400 speed 35mm b&w films are capable of. It is also not the most flexible film in its category. While some companies are continually improving their film and paper products, Kodak is apparently content to offer the same poor quality film they've been offering for at least 10 years now.

Excellent film for a beginning photographer
I have used this film in a B & W photo class. I really like it because you can expose it as ISO 200 and it gives you a well-exposed negative in daylight. With reciprocity correction (needing to over-expose when indicated exposure falls higher than 1 second) it also gives excellent night time pictures. Best of all as a B & W film it is pretty uniform in its response to different colors of light. It is quite fine-grained and it is easy to make a crisp eight by ten enlargement without getting grainy.

      Ugh...
I hate this film. Yes, the grain is fine, but Kodak Tri-X grain just looks better to my eyes. Either film is fine for 8x10" prints, but the grain gets a little large if you blow it up more than that. T-Max is definately easier to find at places like Wal-Mart, but do yourself a favor and find some Tri-X.

Kodak's Finest High Speed Black and White Film
Kodak T-MAX 400 black and white film is a versatile, fine grain high speed black and white film still widely used by professional and amateur photographers. Although there are other films in its speed and price range that may be better, most notably the new Ilford Delta 400, T-MAX 400 still holds its own because of its fine grain and rich contrast. I will occasionally use it, and am still quite impressed by the fine negatives it produces, especially when it is developed in T-MAX developer. If one wishes to buy a high speed black and white Kodak film, and is not interested in pushing it to ISO 800 or higher, then T-MAX 400 should be your first choice.

take it for what it is
Many peope who write these film reviews are high school students who think they know everything from what they learned in a class or two. This film is perfect for what it is. It's not made for the professional photographer. If your going to shoot from an old point and shoot camera then this is perfect. If you just want to play around with black and white then there is no better. If you think that you want to go pro, then get professional kodak film(which at some places don't cost too much more). Pro film will have more grays and greater contrast blah blah blah, but with that kind of thinking, go ahead and buy medium or large format. Otherwise, take it for what it is.
