    3M Quality is good
    Anti Glare: Yes. Works great

Dimension fits 19" Dell but a slightly bigger area would be good

I was not completely satisfied since, I use lots of dark color backgrounds on unix. Now I can see the reflection of what people behind me are doing. So if you think this will fix all problems, think again.

As far as anti glare is concerned. It works very well

    Good product at good price
I have a two Minolta SLR cameras. An STi and a QTi. I broke the lens on the first and bought the second because it cost almost as much to buy a replacement lens as it did to just buy a new camera. At this price, I can replace the original lens and have two cameras.

I love this camera. I've used several 35mm manual and automatic cameras and find this one easy to use and have gotten consistently good quality photos from it.

The iFire allows you to use the popular Apple Pro speakers with iBooks, iPods, and lots others.

Simple to use. There's no manual or instructions needed. Just plug it in.

It does the job nicely. I can use the Apple Pro speakers with my iBook. And the iFire --with its simple, white deign-- fits in nicely with the iBook and speakers.

Good accessory for a great camera
I purchased this adapter for my Kodak DC240 (but will also fit the DC280 & DC3400). I chose the camera because there was a lens adapter option (for filters, etc). It is a black anodized aluminium adapter that mounts onto the camera fairly easily (via the tripod mount screw). Now, I am able to use star & polarizing filters with my digital camera. The use of the polarizing filter helps greatly when taking pictures outdoors, especially in the bright sunlight (eliminating the need to adjust the exposure compensation). In addition, I also purchased additional lenses for this camera: +7 and +10 Close-Up, 2X Telephoto Lens, & Super Wide Angle. The latter two are great when traveling and taking scenic images. My main complaint about this filter is that it adds bulk to the front and bottom of the camera, which can be an inconvenience if you are trying to lighten your load for travel. However, it can be a small price to pay once you see the pictures you take with the add-ons.

strengths: protects the zoom lens, ability to use 37mm filters & lenses

weaknesses: creates additional bulk to a somewhat bulky camera, lens cap pops off easily if you leave a filter on it

        Cokin P058 Star 2 Filter
Star filters are a "must" in your camera bag. They magically produce brilliant stars of light whenever the sun features in a photo. Strong light reflections or artificial lights photographed at night also result in dramatic photos. Depending on the properties of the filter, you get points of light surrounded by 2, 4, 8 or 16 rays.(058, 057, 056, 055) The best effect is achieved against a dark background and with a relatively short exposure. The stars can be positioned as desired by turning the filter. The more powerful and point-shaped the source of light is, the more intense and longer the rays of the star. They also cause a certain degree of contrast reduction. They can additionally be used as soft-focus attachments . The Cokin Star filters can be used with all other Cokin filters

Thanks to the unique Cokin filter holder, you can combine this type of filter with square filters. With a Coupling Ring and another filter holder, you can combine two Cokin Star fiIters to increase the number of sars, although diffusion will be more noticeable.

Good, fast lens lets you shoot hand held, no flash, anytime
People are taken aback at the price of this lens (I got a 99% new one used for about 60% of list) but it's performance is utterly amazing. Usually "fast" lenses are touted as F2.8, but this is two whole stops faster. You can't beat a wider angle lens that lets you shoot in low light conditions or when a flash is inappropriate or doesn't allow you to achieve the effects you want. Indoor photos in a house, under daylight diffused through windows, are very possible. Four stars out of five (it IS expensive!).

I love it, but do I need it?
I got this lens as the companion for my FM3a. The lens was especially designed for the camera and they make a beautiful silver pair. As far as aesthetics goes, these two are a match made in heaven.

So what's right about it? Lots.

The lens is 45mm which is only 2mm longer than the 'true' normal of 35mm film which is 43mm. That means that it is more normal than your standard 50mm lens.

It is stylish. The pancake design is sleek and tight. The silver matches the silver of the FM3a (will they make one in black to match the black FM3a?). The provided filter and inverted lens hood also add to the lens' attractiveness. It is also light, which makes it an easy choice to take along as your normal lens.

The lens is very sharp throughout its focal range. It is a snap to focus the lens and the focus ring is solid and sure. The aperture blades are rounded so that the final aperture is almost a circle. If bokeh is your thing, this lens delivers awesome blur.

        There are drawbacks, of course.

It would be nice if the lens was a little faster. The 50mm Nikkon lenses come in f1.4 and f1.8. They are more than twice as fast, allowing you to gather more light when you need it. The 45mm is restricted to f2.8, which is plenty fast for everyday shots, but in lower light a faster film may be necessary.

I found the focusing ring and the aperture ring a little too close for comfort. Sometimes when trying to adjust the focus, I ended up adjusting the aperture instead. It's not a huge deal, as it's simply a twist of the ring to change it back, but it happens often enough that there may be a user-design issue that needs to be addressed (redesign the user? :-)

The price. It is too high. That's the biggest complaint I have with this lens. With a 50mm f1.8 available for bargain basement prices, is it worth it to spend this much on a slower, only slightly more normal lens? That's up to you to decide.

In all, I'm very happy with this lens. It is a treat to use and the picture quality is outstanding. I don't know if I would have bought it if I hadn't been swept up in the FM3a purchase, but I'm glad that I have it now. It is my primary lens and it hardly leaves the camera body. Of course it doesn't have auto-focus, so you may not find it terribly useful on your N80 or N75, but if you are getting the FM3a, take a look. You might find that the price is justifiable.
