Inexpensive Compact Flash Memory and Adapter ...
Viking makes a good reliable product, at the lower (value) end of the price scale, making it a good purchase value. I use it on a digital camera, and transport it to a laptop. Also makes a good replacement high-capacity floppy disk between laptops. Why should I pay 2x as much for more well-known CF memory when Viking probably manufacturers it? Highly recommended.

Great, and a little 'lagniappe' to boot.
I use CompactFlash for most of my digital cameras, and I've become a fan of the Viking brand. However, I still buy by the dollar-per-meg calculation. Currently, this number should always be less than 1. It is curious that the prices on these cards may fluctuate by as much as 20% in one day! I suggest you find the card you want and track it a while. This particular card comes with a great extra at no extra charge: it includes an adapter for your laptop's type II/III slot, a nice touch. [BTW, 'lagniappe' is N'awlins for 'a little extra')

Good Value
This 64 MByte CF card is a great value since it includes the CF to PCMCIA card adaptor. Many other CF manufacturers want this much for the CF card alone! I bought this CF card for use with a new Canon S-110 for storage of high-res photos. But I also use it for storing MP3 files in my Casio Pocket PC, and now with the PCMCIA adaptor I can use it in my laptop too!

KIller E-TTL Canon flash
Get 2 of these bad boys (or the 420EX) plus the ST-E2 Transmitter and you rule wireless multiple flash photography! That's right: 2-head flash set-ups JUST like the pros do it.

Nothing better than Canon's SUPERB "E-TTL" flash sensing ... and the 550EX is a high-powered workhorse you can rely on. Expensive but worth the bucks.

canon 550 ex
Excellent flash for my canon 10d. Adorama saved me about $140.00 dollars. Service was great.

Stellar!
This is one fantastic flash. I had it on my Canon A2e for four years, and was ambivilent, but if you match this lens with one of Canon's newer bodies that has the funcionality to access all of the 550EX's features, you have an awesome, powerful, flexable flash that can change the way you shoot.

Great Replacement CF Card!
This is my first Compact Flash purchase outside of the CF card that came with my Kodak DC215 Zoom camera. I can get 115 pictures with this size CF card, at the highest quality and largest size -- that alone pleases me much. I should note to other first timers that you may need to format the card when you first pop it in your camera. The card otherwise has given me no problems.

Great Deal!
This isn't the first Viking Components memory card that I've bought... and it certainly will not be the last! I purchased this card for my new Panasonic PV-DC2090 Palm Cam... it is the perfect addition for the second card slot. I was pleased with the amount of storage capacity for the price... nearly twice as much for the same price as other brands. I've never had any problems with any of the Viking products I've used. Viking always comes through with Superior Quality at the BEST price. The bottom line - this is a great deal!

Great Card
I got this card free when I purchased the Kodak DX4900 - no problems at all.

DYNO-MITE
The best flashlight in the world. Almost too pretty to bang around the shop. All the pro's use them( police, fire,mt rescue etc)because these things are bullet proof and built to last. From it's self cleaning switch to it's on board bulb storage and rubber seals this thing is a work of art.Do yourself a favor and buy a Mag Instrument.

Now get out there and light up the night.

Fabulous flashlight in an indestructible case
I own four of these 2 D-Cell mag lights. There's one in each of my cars, and one on each floor of my home.

They are bright, focusable, and it always turns on without fail. No more shaking your flashlight to keep it lit! It's well weighted, so you won't get tired by carrying it, and dropping it won't break the lens or the case.

We also purchased an orange plastic cone that attaches to the front like many police officers have for directing traffic, which makes this flashlight perfect for walking at dusk or at night.

Highly recommended!

Flashlight perfection
Need a flashlight? Contemplating whether to buy the El Cheapo plastic flashlight, or the Mag? Get the Mag if you can afford it. After all, you get what you pay for, and with the Mag, you get the embodyment of flashlight perfection.

Just the weight of the Mag with batteries in it gives me a sense of satisfaction (for some reason). It is a heft bugger, but that's why it's so durable. The light is also crisp and powerful.

Need I say more?

Absolutely Lovely Camera
I have enjoyed the privilege of owning several point-and-shoot cameras, and out of all of my experiences, the FujiFilm DL Super Mini Zoom Camera, is truly the most wonderful of them all. The camera is simple to use and contains many features you would expect on a much more expensive camera, like the choice of either automatic or manual focus and date feature, not to say that this one is cheap. The camera is constructed out of beautiful high quality brushed aluminum and incorporates a lens far superior to most point-and-shooters, giving it the ability to take absolutely splendid photographs. The small size of the camera also comes in handy when on trips or if you need to whip it out hastily to take a once in a lifetime photo. And wherever I go, everyone that sees it is like, "I love this camera!" or "I want one of these!." The sort of enviousness they feel to your splendid investment makes you feel godly. All in all, I would recommend this camera to anyone who refuses anything but the best in quality and design. Buy it, cherish it, and use it forever. This is the camera for you.

Incredible value, small, and very cool!
I bought mine almost 2 years ago and it still performs flawlessly. I espeically like the small size, light weight, and the durable and attractive aluminum housing. The lens is very good and the controls are easy to master. Oh, and it takes great pictures! This is the camera I pack when I'm hiking at 14,000 feet or when I want a small camera with me on vacation. I own a Nikon F100 SLR with a couple rather large and heavy f2.8 lenses but for most of my snap shots I just use the Fuji.

Best camera for the value and price
I love this camera because it does almost everything for me as a P&S camera. It has a very good lens called Fujinon EBC in which Fuji used it on their professional medium format camera. The smart flash system will reduce the hot spot (over exposure). This over exposure of flash is commonly seen in most of the P&S camera. The all metal body shield makes this camera durable and stylish. The exposure compensation and backlight compensation plus a very good viewfinder are very useful features.

Like the Energizer bunny
What else can I say? This is the best thing going as far as lights are concerned. The brightest two cell light on the planet. Plus, it looks so cool in your favorite color. Get it wet , no worry. Drop it, don't even give it a second thought.Pick it up and it's going to work. Is it possible to wear it out? By gosh I don't know. If they wear out it takes a good number of years. I've never been able to do it. Camping, working, emergency , you name it you need this light. As long as you have fresh batteries around , It's never going to let you down.

Mag-Lite Outshines the competition
Mag Instrument's lighting products are of high quality in all aspects of the products' construction and function. The body of the lights are strong and durable. The interior workings last for years without fatigue that is found in most other flashlights. Fatigue in the springs and contacts cause intermittent light and eventually failure. Not so with Mag products. The switch is high quality and durable and offers many years of dependable use. The relflector and beam adjustment feature work well together and offer a wide range of beam dispersal. Mag flashlights are worth every penny and will continue to function for many years.

Buy one flashlight for life
This is the last one you'll every need to buy. It is virtually indestrutible. mine fell on the street and got rolled over buy a dozen cars and trucks. When I went to fetch it, it still works. Amazing!

Mag lite is simply the best
Everyone knows that maglite makes the best flashlights in the world. Now, with the silver finish, it looks as good as it works. I recommend this to anyone who wants to look good and perform good.

Mag is the best......Indestructable
I have had this flashlight for a few years and would never buy anything else but a mag.

Mags take a beating and keep on ticking. I have dropped this on the concrete, pavement anything you could think of only a tiny scrach. It provides a very large light which you can adjust simply from the top for a more exact stream of light. I have yet to change the batteries(2 years) even though i use it constantly. The on/off switch has never failed or broke. Remember all the flashlights you have had when you have to keep hitting it every 10 seconds to get it to work? Not this one.

Great for working in the garage, anywhere outside or when the lights go out. If you want a real flashlight get a mag they are the best by FAR... Don't hesitate

None other

Nikon SK-E900 External Multi-Flash Bracket Unit for Nikon 4500 Digital Camera

Balanced, functional, and practical
I already owned a Speedlight SB-28dx for use with my F100 on a Stroboframe bracket for off-camera flash. The SK-E900 enables me to use the same flash on my Coolpix 4500. It is a practical accessory for the Coolpix 900 series and 4500 digital cameras, as long as you don't mind investing in another flash or already have one. Your camera will automatically meter the light and adjust the output of both the built-in and external flash. Results are superb. Simply, it attaches easily, it is light, and it is well balanced.

A must-have if you have or are planning to buy Nikon 995
Excellent reviews already written. I only want to add that the 995 was supposed to reduce to dreaded "Red-eye" that has been a problem with previous 990's. But I have a 995 and all of the in-door pictures I have taken of my "Great-God Son" have produced major red-eye, and this bracket eliminates that problem.

Quality product.
I use the bracket to connect my Coolpix 995 with my Nikon SB-27 speedlight and it works quite well. Unlike other reviewers, I like the built in flash with the Coolpix, but since I already use this flash with my Nikon SLR, I wanted to be able to use it with my digital too. It works well and the bracket includes the Multi-Flash Adapter Cord, which you might not expect for this price. My only caveat in recommending this product is once mounted on a bracket with a flash, the Coolpix becomes a bit bulky. One of the features I like best about the Coolpix is that it is so compact and once you start adding all these different attachments obviously you start to lose that virtue. However, if you want to do serious flash photography with your Coolpix or you need to reduce the incidence of red-eye in your pictures, this bracket is the way to go.

Extraordinary Camera!
I've had my Canon EOS Elan II for almost seven years and though my technique has advanced, this camera is still home to me. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for improved technology -- digital cameras, memory cards, photo quality printers, etc should not be ignored. But nothing beats a 35mm SLR, especially with this kind of setup. What's so great about the Canon EOS is that it gives the photographer the power of choice. Unlike simple point-and-shoots, the Elan II offers the option between automatic and manual exposure settings (or even somewere in between) to ultimately empower the photographer to gauge how much creative/technical input he/she wants in his photographs. In addition, features like focus lock, bracketing, depth of field control, dual exposure for creative superimposed images, almost seem like welcome icing on the proverbial cake.

Abuse is the order of the day with my camera, and I'm happy to say that my Canon has held steadfast in this regard too. Durability is not a problem here. If you're thinking seriously about taking better photographs, you can't go wrong with this one. It's well worth the investment.

I Could Not Be Happier About This Camera
Let's start with durability. I've had this camera for two years, and even though I've dropped it, left it in the sun, gotten it wet (with sea water!) and done about a hundred other things to it, it still works perfectly. That is impressive.

But you buy a camera for the quality of its pictures, and the Elan II excels in this regard. I agree with other reviewers that you should upgrade to a better lens than the one that comes with it, but this body will help you get the outstanding photos you want.

This is the perfect camera for all levels of expertise, except perhaps for the total professional. I was a beginner when I bought the Elan II, and it was simple enough for me to use out of the box. Now that I've been studying photography for a couple years, I still haven't outgrown this camera. It has all the advanced features you want. It allows you to go fully manual or fully automatic, plus any combination in between. The controls are intuitively laid out and simple to use. And don't underestimate the value of having access to Canon's complete line of EOS lenses.

Frozen Life With A Elan II
I've owned this camera for three years and have yet to had any problems with it and it's quality never ceases to amaze me. I highly recommend this camera to amateur-professional photographers. Whether you are new to the photography world or a seasoned photographer this camera allows for versatility, capatablity, and most of all, convenience. Functions as a simple automatic camera to complex fully manual camera w/lots of extra features for creative photographers!

great reliable
Kingston - very fast and reliable service. Shipped right away 2 day shiping was free.

Very reliable performer . . .
I have two of these cards, and use them primarily in a Canon 10D digital SLR camera. I have had absolutely no problems, either writing data to them or extracting files later. The medium capacity card is very convenient for most digital camera users. For the Canon 10D, a 6 mega pixel camera, maximum JPEG file size at the highest quality setting averages about 2.5MB, and typically about 90 images can be saved to the card. Using the card in a lower resolution digital point and shoot camera, capacity would of course be many times greater.

The card performs reasonably well even when taking a series of images in rapid succession, say four or five in two second interval. With a digital point and shoot camera, transfer speed should not be an issue. Kingston's reliable, competitively priced card should meet the needs of most users.

Fast CF card for my Canon Powershot A70.
I purchased this card @ Dell with rebates for less than tearty backs (errors on purpose). So far, it works flawlessly. It reaches close to 1MB/s read rate when used with USB 1.1 card reader. Dpreview.com tested this card with Firewire CF reader and it read data at rate of over 4MB/s.

Highly recommended as all Kingston products. I am thinking about buying another 256MB from Viking to use as "spare tire" since I shoot at highest resolution and best quality with my A70. I can fit around 170 pictures (JPEG) on 256MB CF card.

Additionally, CF card with reader can be used like floppy except its capacity surpasses 1.44MB by a lot.
