I ordered it a month ago, and now told I may have to wait another month! Disappointed to see the page still says it ships in 1-2 weeks. If you are in a hurry for this item, go elsewhere.

At first I was excited to find this unit. A .5X wide angle lens at a reasonable price. Sight unseen, I purchased this unit. At first, I liked it quite a bit. The width was extreme enought that I could record people who didn't think it was even pointing at them, allowing much more candid shots. I also liked the rounded barrell distortion when it was zoomed out and the lens physically close to the subject. Then one day, at a family reunion, I zoomed in on the part of the family taking pictures and in my viewfinder, my lens appeared unclean. A long story short, I spent twenty minutes cleaning every component I was using, but, with absolutely no luck. Later that night i started trial and error and discovered that it was, in fact, the design of the lens. When zooming on, the Raynox blurs all except for a vertically-oriented oval in the center of the shot. Needless to say, I returned this item. It's perfomance was satisfactory when not using the zoom, but it blurred quickly even when just zooming in a small amount.

THE self-CLAIM IS TOO FAR OFF

I bought this camera and it takes horrible pictures. They come out grainy. I have seen better pictures from a disposable camera than from this one!
