Good Flash Drive
So far I am happy with Lexar's Sport JumpDrive. I have the 256mb and the 64mb versions. Once you get the rubber cap off it works well (many people knock the rubber cap but it is there for a reason).

Terrific!
I love the design of this drive. It is slim, and has a rubber cover. You can hang it around your neck, or stick it in your pocket. Very rugged, and as far as I'm concerned, it has the best design of any of the drives I have used. I would not hesitate to recommend this drive, as it has worked flawlessly for me. No drivers to install, just plug it in. I am thinking about getting the 512 Sport now!

Works great--simple, sturdy, and flexible
I use this thing to carry files to and from work. It works flawlessly with no drivers needed on a PC running Windows XP and on a Mac G4 running OS9.2. I've also loaded it up with MP3 music to play on a portable jumpdrive MP3 player, which also works flawlessly. Unlike another review that I've read, this one works fine in the remote USB port on the Mac's keyboard, I don't have to plug it into the back of the G4. The slim design means it fits in easily beside other USB cables when the ports are spaced close together, as they always seem to be. File transfer is fast fast fast on a USB2 port. The rubber case is really sturdy--I've attached it to my keys so that I can dump it in my pocket and forget about it until I need it, and it's always right there. The "sport" concept is a really good idea--it's sturdy and rugged and can handle bouncing around with coins and keys as I go about my daily life. No special software needed, works on different platforms, rides in my pocket, tough enough that I can forget about it when I'm not using it--what more could you ask for? It's perfect.

A pocketful of convenience
There is a lot to praise in this little pocketful. Setting it up is a breeze, even with the terse documentation provided, and I got started using it within 10 minutes. Read and data transfer rates are good enough for home or amateur, even office use, though a multimedia professional may want quicker times. The small footprint means you can easily fit it on crowded desks and carrying it around is easy too. And carry it you will - the reason for buying this gadget of course is to ease the load on your digital camera. Using the camera to transfer images to a computer is a waste of battery time and even if you use the adaptor, you really don't need the camera's electronics to run the transfer. Instead, leave the camera in its case, slip the card into this reader and you are on your way. A small precaution: As with all USB devices, this reader draws power from the computer so before you unplug, check that no read/write operation is under way or you may lose data.

Handy gadget
This is so much easier than trying to hook a digital camera to a PC to download pictures and videos. Once it is installed you use it like a disk drive.

Good experience
The SanDisk SDDR-55 installed easily and worked well from the start. Within 15 minutes I was downloading images from my new camera. The documentation is not impressive, but the performance is. My only real complaint is that the driver software can only be installed on the computer's C: drive. Mine is nearly full, so I like to install new programs on the D: drive. Otherwise, I easily recommend this product.

Simpletech still has never failed me
Being that I only had the 8 MB that came stock with my camera the switch to the Simpletech 64MB cf card was a huge difference. I have always been happy with Simpletech products. My last purchase of the 64MB CF Card re-assured my faith in ST.

The More the Merrier
I bought the Simpletech 64 MB compact flash card and was instantly impressed with the added storage capabilities. It's inexpensive and definately worth the added functionality to use with digital cameras, PDA's and MP3 players!

More juice for your digital camera!
I don't know about you but a mesley 8MB CF card really doesn't allow for many photos to be stored. Got one of these cards, and now I can get a decent amount of images in one shoot. Thinking about getting the 256MB CF so I can even take more images and want to also get the Flashlink reader so I can get my photos to my computer fast!

Great package.
At this price, the card alone is a good deal. However, this pkg includes the USB minidrive, which allows you to use the card as a highly portable storage device that is recognized by WinXP without any drivers or installation required. This is really handy for many things, such as moving MP3 files (say to a friend's PC) or for copying .txt files for papers that need editing or safeguarding.

Awesome Flash Drive!
XP recognized and installed flawlessly. No digital signature required! Handy 4 foot USB cable for connecting behind pcs. I've looked at many sites that sell this drive and it was never obvious if the 256mb flash card was included. It is. My unit was gray (not blue like most ads show) with a green led. It's a versatile drive because the flash cards work with other devices, like my Rio S50 MP3 player. And different sized cards can be used, 64mb, 128mb, etc. Hardest thing was getting the package open! No different than any electronic gadget. Be careful with the blister plastic. 2 year warranty on the drive, lifetime on flash card. Highly recommended.

Exceptional!!!
Executive summary: 1.44 floppies are just not cutting it. I work with clients and don't want to lug around a CD burner to move files from my laptop to/from their network. I also don't always want to lug my laptop home. Enter Simpletech's Bonzai USB mini drive. It is awesome. If you are looking for high capacity and expandable computer storage in a small, portable, USB-based, no install hassle package, buy the Bonzai USB mini-drive now.

A few details . . .

Insert it into a USB port, wait about 2 seconds and WIN2K and WinXP (home and professional) pop up an acknowledgement of a new removable disk that it found. You use the USB drive just like a hard drive (drag and drop, etc.).

Here are some factoids I wish the product description (or picture) would have told me:
1) A 4 foot USB extension cable is included, which in my book eliminates any negative dealing with the fact that the USB ports on some computers are close together or very tight. (BTW I have a Compaq Presario with 2 USB's on the front and although it is tight the Bonzai works fine there without the extension, even with my mouse plugged in right beside it). Having to carrying a small cable is just not that big of deal folks.
2) It is very small. 2 1/2" long including the USB plug. 1 1/4" wide. 1/2" deep.
3) It is very light. About the weight of one Oreo Double Stuff cookie :)
4) The USB plug has a cap.
5) The case is heavy plastic.
6) A lanyard (i.e big shoestring looking thing that goes around your neck like a Referee's whistle) is included.
7) I have a 60MB zip file on my Bonzai right now which unzips faster than those on my hard drive. Did I mention the Bonzai is fast?
8) The whole thing seems solid and well made.

BTW, a guy I work with and I did some research. We both concluded that Bonzai is the answer to our goal of a slick way to quickly move files between computers, with zero install requirements (at least on Win2K and WinXP). He is very envious of me right now since he opted for the Sandisk Cruzer instead of the Bonzai (because Best Buy didn't have the Bonzai). I picked Bonzai and was delighted to find that amazon.com has it. The Cruzer is about 4-5 times bigger, and doesn't feel nearly as solid in my view.

I opted for the 128MB model instead of the 256MB or 512MB models for two simple reasons: 1) 128MB is enough for me for now (equal to 88 diskettes), 2) the price of Secure Disk (SD) is bound to keep tumbling so I'll pick up a 256 and/or 512 once the 1GB (and beyond) SD's come out and drive down their cost of their little brother and sister :)

Enjoy the Bonzai!

exactly what I wanted
Hotsyncing with the Visor can be a pain: it takes a long time and it's sometimes dificult to get the Visor to sit it's in cradle. When you want to put files from your Visor onto the computer, there's no alternative, but if you're just backing up files, this module is excellent. You press one button, wait a minute, and everything is backed up. This is especially important because I've found that replacing batteries in the Visor sometimes deletes the data. Restoring from the backup module is then a one step process. Retoring from hotsync would first entail reinstalling all of the software and then hotsyncing the data. It's a little pricey and is something of a luxury, but it makes life much easier, especially if you're on the go.

Wonderful product!
I hot sync with a backup buddy already. However, I travel quite a bit, and this neat little module is just the best. It is very easy to use. . . simply put in the slot and tap an icon. . . and then you have a backup with you at all times, even when you can't get to your desktop.

simple!!!!!
Everything should be this easy. You put the module in the slot and tap the backup icon,And,it does it amazing!!!!!!I love this product.

plenty fast and good compatibility
this is my first 256mb cf card. seat-o-the-pants-meter says it's at least as fast, if not a little faster, than the generic 128mb and 64mb cards i have used before (all 4x). compatibility is good, it worked in both my camera (said it would on the lexar webpage, nice compatibility list there) and pda (not on the lexar page)...

i kind of like to see a lifetime warranty on these kind of things, but 5 years probably constitutes a lifetime for this technology so i'm not overly worried about that...

throw in the rebate and u get name brand for generic price...

such a deal...

works great
fast, reliable. What else do you want?

Cheap, fast and too much of it
How can you go wrong with spending [money] and getting 256M? You can't. I bought the iPAQ and I wanted to transfer my files to a flash, so I don't have to carry my computer all day. IT worked. I have all of my documents and files on a single flash. I sync once or twice a week and I am ready to go. If you are on the road like I am, this flash is the best. It's cheap and with 256M, you can have everything transferred to it.

Floppy what?????????
Scoot over floppy CF is here in full effect. It's the fast way to transfer pictures, data, and other files. I use it to store mucho pictures on my digital camera.

Still using floppy disks? Why? Go CF!!
I was at the airport trying to bring up a presentation I was working on... instead of spending time on the presentation, I was muddling through my floppies to find it! A buddy of mine suggested that I use CF cards to store my files on using this PC card adapter. Can you say "NO more Floppies!" Great product!

Compactflash... like a mini hard drive!
Ok, I just got a new digital camera and decided to buy another compactflash card from Simpletech and the Flashlink CF card reader, so I can get my pics to my PC fast. Then a friend suggested that I try using my CF cards as mini hard drives! I tell you it works. All I needed was the Simpletech PC card adapter and it like using a small floppy with alot more storage space!! Awesome!!

Super, but...
I bought it for my Palm m125 and it works super fine. The main problem is that manufacturers misinform about their calculation of mb's. It's called mebibytes. Yep, 1mb=1million bytes. Altough mine had 29.1mb(mega), my other card(Lexar) was 30.5mb(mega)...

Still, the price is twice an compact/smartmedia at the same size.

I wouldn't argue with the speed since I can't calculate fractions of a second. It seems inconstant from card to card. I'm going to check out if I can get something normal...

SanDisk
I bought a san disk 64mb for my viewsonic v36 pocket pc. I keep my games on the card and my pictures from the built in camera. The best thing about it is that it is the size of a postage stamp. The transfer speed is fast for something as big as a postage stamp.

Honey, They Shrunk The Memory!
Being old enough (cough! cough!) to remember foot-square memory cards with a whopping 4KB (yes, KB, not MB), the fact that 32MB fits in a card the size of a postage stamp is just amazing. And this isn't even the highest capacity available!

I inserted the card into my Palm i705 (another Amazon.com purchase) and instantly quintupled the amount of storage I had available. I moved some large programs over to the card and used BackupBuddyVFS to do a daily backup to the card - if I ever lose the RAM away from my office, I have EVERYTHING I need to restore it right in the palm of my hand.

It works - what more is there to say?

Works great on my Pocket PC
This card works great on my HP Jornada 540 series Pocket PC and on my wifes 547 series Jornada.

Sandisk 192 MB CF card (for Jornada 720)
HP rebadges Sandisk for their own CF product, and recommend it. Many Jornada users have problems with installing CF cards, but this one worked faultlessly from the moment it was slipped into the bay. Given the compression/ lower storage requirements of Windows CE 3.0, could one ever need more? It's the desktop equivalent of 600 MB in my view, which means for storing Office files and email, it's virtually limitless. The regular busy executive won't fill it up. Developers will of course. Top product.

Rating Update- reliability unsurpassed and website improved!
I own 2 of these cards, both bought through Amazon. I've read of a number of problems with other manufacturer's discount CF cards. The firmware inside the cards is NOT all the same. Sandisk's is rock solid reliable. I have never seen or heard of ANY device having difficulty with Sandisk's cards, and I did a lot of research...
