Drivers won't install
Empezó bien, pero luego dejo mucho que desear...
It Works and it's fastThat aside, this baby works great. No driver installation or other fiddling required, just plug it in. It runs 100MB in FULL duplex, so it is very fast. I use it in the lab to talk to routers and terminal servers. At home it's a fast way to load SiteScooper web clippings and to save backups.
All in all, an excellent value.

A Piece of Junk!!!
More junk for the landfill
It has worked great for me

It does what it is supposed to do but 2MB is not enough
Nifty, but not without problems...
Works pretty good, but.......I don't use it much, unless I'm in a meeting. I don't bother other people when I have a message getting my attenion.

Not the displayed model
not fully compatible
A wonderful upgradeAlso, if you find yourself unable to install an OS onto a cleanly formatted hard drive, a good "last option" is to buy one of these guys and swap it out with your currently installed memory, with the assumption that your current memory is defective. I've run into this problem and this memory worked like a charm. Again, you have to be sure to purchase the correct type of memory and you have to know what you're doing. The Memory Finder on this site works great if you have a brand name PC.
I highly recommend this brand to any who need more RAM.

careful...this didn't work in my new dell 8200...
Worked fine for me

Not as advertised
It's just a CompactFlash Card portIt's not what the manufacturer describes, however. It's not a 4-port USB hub, it doesn't come with an AC adapter (doesn't need one to just read/write to a data card), and the attached USB cable is only about a foot long, not the fifty-something inches as in the description.
If you're looking for a USB hub, keep looking. If you're looking to save digital camera batteries, and to download your images from the data card faster than your camera-connection would, this is a very inexpensive way to do just that, and only that.

- Great for storing pictures, music and data.
- An erasure-prevention switch to keep your data safe.
- Perfect for mobile applications and users.
- Solid state design insures reliability and durability

Never recieved itI have not a clue on its performance.
False price - $59.99 with Office Depot
Can't go wrong...The Lexar 32x 256MB was $60, the 32x 512MB was $170. The big brands were more yet. The best compramise in MB/$ came in at 256MB. Another issue with the bigger cards is getting over-invested in your photo storage media. If you get a 1 gig card, sure you can load it with 750 high-res pictures, enough for your whole 2 weeks just clicking away. What then if the (one) card gets lost, squished, or just craps out? The whole trip of memories gone forever! The most I was willing to risk was about 256Mb - maybe one fourth of the trip, and with both my wife and myself shooting similar pics on 2 cameras- further risk reduction.
The card... works like a charm. I've tried all 4 I bought in both cameras - all worked perfect (practiced over 100 pics getting the hang ov camera features so far). I have 2 different readers (the Kodak 6in1 reader and the little $15 Lexar USB pod) and they both read and write perfectly. I get about 5 MB/s transfer (rough estimate) to 2 different PCs (work and home), and also use the cards to transfer general data.
Best bang for the buck of all the SD cards available right now!

Horrible!
Can't find the dang drivers
Simple, easy, non-intrusive...Great!Slide in the card, open up "My Computer", click the drive letter, and there is your stuff.
I plugged this into my Windows 2000 based PC's USB port and the machine recognized it, did whatever it had to do, and was ready to go to work. I didn't have to load any drivers at all. (woo hoo!).
I bought this to go along with the digital camera that I purchased for my wife so that she could easily get pictures off of the camera. It is indeed as easy as expected.
The only thing that would make this product even better is if it would also stand on its side instead of just flat.

May not work with your laptopThere is also a lot of talk on forums on the internet that claim that Sony Vaio memory slots might be defective, and therefore, new memory sticks might render the computer unable to boot.
Be sure to check your memory slots by rotating your memory sticks, before buying new modules, to ensure that you do not have a faulty memory slot.
Install and wait for the crashes.I had the original memory replaced. No more crashes.
I'd love to return it.
Good purchase
