Highest quality, function, and design
I bought this bag for my Nikon Coolpix 4500. It's perfect. The cushioned bag protects the camera from possible bumps and falls, plus it is weather proof. In addition to the camera, I pack the following accessories with no problem: extra compact flash card, Nikon's MC-EU1 cable release, Nikon's lcd viewing hood, extra battery, and a lens cleaning pen.

The back has an extremely strong velcro belt strap. Two rings accommodate an adjustable shoulder strap (which I leave off). I use the 4500-strap through the side of the 2-zippered cover.

All in all, the highest quality, function, and design for a camera the size of the Coolpix 4500.

Fits like a glove, and that's the best way
I just bought this bag for the Canon Powershot G2 ...
Though another reviewer made an excellent point in saying that apart from batteries and 1 or 2 extra memory cards it won't fit much accesories, the main reason I bought this bag is for optimal protection of the camera itself, and only secondly for transportation...Other points:
the opening is nice and large, though not in a way that the camera might fall out...With this design I think it will be easy to get the camera out when you need to.

The material looks and feels excellent. The inside material is very soft and padded for excellent protection of the camera.

One of the crucial things to me to choose this bag is the All Weather Cover. A 'jacket' that is nicely tucked away in the bottom-back of the camera, that you can pull out and nicely fits around the front and sides of the bag. It may seem a little tight (it has an elastic part on the top) but think about it: the looser it'll fit, the less weather protection it will offer.

A very nice bag for a very reasonable price...

Great Digital Camera Bag, Awesome Value
Great bag for my Sony DSC-S85, fits perfectly. Anyone with camera of like size could use this model Lowepro. Quality of Lowepro is great, fitment with camera is superb, it is light and protects. Lowepro is the best bag for the money, you're hearing it from a "very" satisfied customer.

A really great compact camera...
I received this camera as a gift and subsequently took it on a long trip to Russia (instead of my bulky SLR film camera). This camera was outstanding: easy to use, produces good quality pictures, lightweight. It makes toting "regular" camera gear around too cumbersome to contemplate: this camera slips into a pants pocket easily enough. As my first digital camera, it's everything I had hoped it would be and more.

The software (Olympus's Camedia) is pretty good and relatively easy to use, although managing your pictures can be more work than it needs to be. Maybe I'll upgrade that to the Pro version. Nonetheless, I was downloading pictures quickly and everything worked cleanly. The main reason to use the software (rotating pictures) is convenient.

The camera itself is lightweight and pretty durable (my son dropped it a few times and it survived just fine). The 16 MB card that comes with it is too small for realistic use, but a 128 MB card is easy to purchase: budget for it, as you'll want the storage. There are only a few minor annoyances that you'll want to compare to other cameras before choosing this one (I don't think anyone else does it any better).

First, this camera (like many digital cameras) devours batteries. The "low battery" warning comes on very quickly--way too quickly, since battery life far exceeds the warning. However: as the battery runs down, the camera itself processes more and more slowly. So I've found that you'll often miss shots because you need to know about a second in advance to push the button. The lag between "go" and the camera firing is annoying.

Second, the zoom control is a bit difficult to use. It's located on top of the camera and twists, an action that I find difficult to perform while aiming the camera. I've taken to holding the camera at about chest level to shoot pictures so that I have better control.

Overall, the picture quality settings are easy to manage and the pictures themselves are bright, clear, and sharp. The autofocus is almost always perfect and you'll rarely dig into the menus to adjust the camera performance. The panorama capability doesn't seem to work, but it's an extraneous feature.

In any case, this is a great little camera. It does everything a digital camera should, is well made, and makes me a happy camper.

WOW! what a great camera
After much deliberation I purchaced this camera to take pictures of my new son; knowing Olympus's great quality and userfriendly apperatus I did not think I would be dissapointed, I was not.<br /> <br /> The photos from this camera, particularily in superfine mode are outstandingly crisp and clear, after ordering prints online (including 8x10s) I realized what a signifigant purchase this was there was virtually no difference between the prints and photographic prints.<br /> <br /> Two hints for anyone wanting to buy this camera however<br /> a) buy the 256mb card it is worth it for the 115 SHQ shots you'll get<br /> <br /> b) it is absolutely nessessary to buy a battery charger with four Ni-MH batteries. These will last you one whole day. about 70-80 shots.

Great Pics, A lot of Functions and affordable
This tiny, light and easy to use camera is a perfect choice for those who aren't professionals, but in some cases even for those... the Super macro mode, which lets it take pictures from 2 cm away, is awsome, and you can't find this on no other camera inn it's price category...It takes great crispy pictures and it has a super-powered flash light.. Except it doesn't record sounds...it's the perfect camera.

For D-CAM user/SPEAD is EVERYTHING
WHEN THE WRITINH/READING SPEEP DOSE MATTER TO YOU

1. FAST: This is my third SD car and this card is much fast than my other two SD cards(viking &Toshiba)

You need a card which can read and write fast so you dont miss any shot when taking pictures.

2. Courty of orgin : This card is made in Japan

I love this card & so will you
My previous experience with SimpleTech's 128 MB SD card was what drove me to buy the same brand, but double the MB's. There is nothing but good words to say about SimpleTech's SD cards. They are dependable. The brochure it comes with says not to let the battery run down or you might risk losing the data or have it get fragmented. That hasn't happened in my camera at all. There are cheaper SD cards out there, but why risk losing important data? Dependability is worth the extra 20 or 30 bucks.

Stable and dependable
Got this one after returning a Sandisk 256 Mb Ultra II SD card (died after a few days of very minimal use), and this one works great. No problems since buying it a couple months ago. Using in in a Minolta Dimage Z1.

This Player works Awesome!!
Great Volume, FM is average but I've droped it many times and never had a problem. Very Great purchase!!

A must-have addition to your Pocket Concert player
If you're buying an Intel Pocket Concert, save yourself some time and get the accessory kit right off the bat (or choose the package that includes it with the player). You'll want this kit...

For a start, it adds rechargeability to the Pocket Concert, sporting a pair of nickel metal hydride (NiMH) "memory free" AAA batteries. The docking station featured in this kit serves as your desktop charger... Just insert the Pocket Concert, and it'll begin refreshing your batteries.

The docking station doubles as a fancy (and more practical) USB connection to your PC for downloading your tunes into the player. And while I question the value of the feature, the docking station also has a pair of RCA connectors providing line-level output for your stereo system (or to the line inputs on your computer, presumably).

The carrying case is superb. According to the brand legend on the zipper pulls, this is a Case Logic case -- a fact that Intel doesn't bother to present. But typical of Case Logic products, it's a well made and useful way to carry around your Pocket Concert.

Finally, the standard issue cassette adapter provides you an easy way to play your Pocket Concert on the move in your car, or anywhere a standard cassette deck is available.

The reason I rate it 4 stars, not 5? Price... At late-2001 "ballpark" pricing, this kit boosts the overall price of the Pocket Concert ..., which is at the high-end for 128 Meg audio players. (By the time you read this, no doubt pricing and competitive issues will likely be different, so make your own assessment.)

But price aside, it's still an important thing for any Pocket Concert user to have.

Accessory Kit is Great!!!
The accessory kit is awesome!! I have the dock set up by my home stereo with a cord running to my computer. It is nice becasue you can send songs directly to it from your computer and then play them through your stereo. The only minor complaint is the rechargable batteries do not last as long as real batteries but I was able to go over six hours on a plane with them. I only wish it had a remote.

Great little camera
I have nothing but good to say about this camera. I own several film cameras, but digital is the way to go. The EI 200 is light and gives good battery life. With a 64 mg compact flashcard I filled the card and used only one set of batteries. The LCD screen disappears in bright light, so trying to change settings in difficult. This also makes macro difficult because you cannot see to focus. The situation with the LCD screen is the reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5. I also wish Pentax made a remote which works light a cable release. The one they offer with the 3 second delay is a waste of money.

Has any camera manufacturer come up with a digital camera with interchangable and manual focus lenses? That would be the best of both worlds.

However, the EI 200 is a nice, light camera for use when size or weight is important. You can shoot to your hearts content without having to worry about wasting film. Purchasing this camera was an excellent choice.

unique workhorse
I bought this camera in may 2001 just prior to son number 1 being born. I liked the price and the extra options. Since that time, roughly 2 years+, I have taken 6000 pictures. I have used a bunch of digital cameras- this feels a whole lot like a 35mm point and shoot and not a boxy- space aged design (thank god). The pictures in best jpeg mode, or even better tiff mode(I bought a 128 cf card quickly) the resolution and clarity is great. 5x7's and even 8 x 10's print quite nicely. Battery drain is strong even with 1600-2100 nmh rechargeable batteries. I reccomend energizer E squared lithium batteries, they last forever. I like the presets and the manual exposure controls and the digita operating system is super user friendly. Its best to back off a subject at home, and use the 3x optical zoom that way the picture will not wash out. the digital 2x zoom does not produce great pictures. I cannot beleive how fast the pics transfer to the pc via usb- its amazing. If you want a decent camera, with a bit more punch than any other p+s 2 mp, and you are an individual who wants something a bit more rare and special than the olympus or canon that everyone else has, this is for you.

Just the best darn digital camera out there
I've had the EI - 2000 for about 6 months now and have shot approx 1000 shots with it - I have only had to recharge the batteries 3 times total - very, very good on battery power (prob likely due to the SLR which means you don't chew up battery power looking at what you're going to shoot). Photo quality is superb. Functionality is great - you can use as point and shoot or it also has the ability to totally control the shot if you want. Neatest feature is the Jetsend function - point at a printer, press a button, and the current photo prints. Can't say enough good things about this camera.

One small camera with a great ability.
I bought this camera after reviewing several others for pleasure use only. I found that this was all I needed for what I wanted a digitial camera for. The program allowing downloading to a PC works great so long as you have a Pentium 2 or better. After adding a 256mb memory chip I find that I can spend an entire month taking pictures before having to download and sort.

Best 2 MP camera for the money
Raves
We love it!!Our compact affordable pentax optio 230 has hit the floor a few times and still works fine without a scratch. We have taken it all over Canada and the USA. The swing out lcd monitor is great for fast self portriats or monitoring tripod shots from in front of the camera. The timer is handy too.The 3x optical zoom is a must considering digital zoom degrades pixel quality.Outdoors it produces good landscapes.Indoors the bright flash is more than enough.Great entry level camera. We plan to get the new optio 550 (5mp/5x zoom) but we will miss the swingout lcd of the 230.

Rants

Its not really fair to complain about the best quality most feature packed 2 MPXL camera on the market. It also has the best price. Of course a 3-5 MPXL will produce better results and features hence the higher price.Heres a few tips we found out on getting the most out of our 2 MPXL optio.

1.use highest resolution settings ("tif" for pro shots)
2.Movie mode is best outdoors in the sun. Indoors requires lots of extra lighting to avoid yellow tinges.
3.Only use optical zoom (not digital).
4.Avoid auto color on the editing software as it tends to produce a corpse like effect. The cameras auto color is better anyway.
5.Be prepared to learn the redeye reduction edit in the software to compensate for the optios powerful flash in dim lighting conditions. Its a very effective tool and can save any shot other than a deer in headlights.

Enjoy your Pentax Optio 230 digital camera

Finally, the camera we've been looking for
After hours of going through sales ads, trying out cameras in stores, and hours of research on the Internet, my husband and I finally decided on this camera. Reasons? 1) It's lightweight 2) The digital zoom only kicks in after a long pause (if you have it activated) 3) The whitebalance feature and 4) The reasonable price. Before it was shipped, we were still a little worried about how much we'd actually like this camera. I must say that it has "wowed" us so far. The whitebalance is excellent, the picture quality is far better than our previous digital camera, it's easy on the batteries (even with the LCD on), and it's very easy to tote around. Don't worry about the plastic -- it doesn't feel "cheap". The LCD swivel makes it easy to take self-portraits (if you really wanted to) or if you take pictures from a tripod pointing straight down (like -- for auction posting), you don't have to stand on a chair to see what it looks like before you take the picture! Great camera, great price.

good but one serious flaw
I'm pleased with the quality of the pictures but the shutter speed is very slow, as is the startup time of the camera, the time between shots and the zoom. I realy miss a lot of nice pictures of my kids because they just don't hang around in the sme position for the minute or two it takes me to open the case and zoom.

A Great Camera
I purchased this camera and was impressed with the size - functions - and ability of this camera. I read the book and started taking pictures immediately with no problems what so ever. The audio feature with still prints is FANTASTIC. The night mode is incredible also. I wish I had had this camera at Christmas because it takes GREAT night shots even on a low resolution. I would highly recommed this camera.

good enough for everyday use
I didn't like this when my dad bought me without asking my opinion because it doesn't look cool.. (I needed to show off to my friends)
While using it for six months, I started to like this camera for its features and pics' clear color.
Night shot mode makes picture like professional shot.
and I could also send my sister's movie clip to my dad by e-mail.
You can also put 10 shot mode which will take 10 high detailed picture continuously. I prefer 3 shot mode for perfect pose. (in case people close their eyes or red eyes.. or..so..)
Its case is not just cloth made scratch proof one but its very strong that even if you drop it, camera will hardly damaged.

I hope samsung makes it little more cool looking one next time.

Use ISO 64 Setting
Having a Konica Minolta DiMage X with which I am very happy, I decided to get this camera when I wanted an 8MP camera with better zoom capability. At first I was unpleasantly surprised with the amount of noise (color specks) showing in the pictures. Later I discovered that by putting the ISO setting on 64 instead of Auto, the noise is greatly reduced. Now I'm basically happy with the camera, but it seems that they should mention this in the documentation. Pictures at the highest ISO settings (400 and 800) are really bad - I guess these settings are there only for extreme low-light situations.

The electronic viewfinder is amazing. I'm nearsighted and have trouble with the LCD display, but I can easily see everything in the viewfinder (including menus and playback of pictures). I just keep the LCD off all the time.

gets the shake out &much more!
I HAVE PARKINSON'S DESEASE, THIS CAMERA GETS THE SHAKE OUT, AND THE QUAILITY IS GREAT. THE PHOTOS ARE CRISP AND CLEAR. OPERATION IS SIMPLE. WAIT TIL YOU TRY THE VIDEO, THE SOUND AND FILMING IS SIMPLE. LOVE THIS CAMERA!.

Ideal for serious photographer
If you are interested in taking black-and-white photographs for creative photography, A2 is the perfect choice! As compared to other competitors at the similar price and resolution (8 MP), A2 has the following good features. 1. It has a black-and-white mode. 2. The file can be saved as TIFF for artistic editing without losing resolution after repeated saving. 3. The battery function is satisfied. 4. A2 has a rapid focusing and antishake device.

Fuzzy Logic.
Regardless of what the numbers say, this camera is a (roughly) 2.1 megapixel system that uses a process similar to television "line doubling" to effect its claimed 4.3 megapixel resolution. While that is true, it also true that the pictures it takes are plenty sharp without "doctoring" and will easily enlarge to 5" x 7" without becoming grainy. This is in no small part a result of excellent optics. In addition, the true (optical) 3X zoom is excellent, and its ability to shoot rather long movies (80 secs with sound) is a nice plus. Having said all that in its favor, it is still (IMHO) *way* overpriced, mostly because it has the Leica name on it. You can buy the same camera with the Fuji name on it (model 4700) and save hundreds!

macro power, mini size
This little camera delivers awesome high resolution pictures in three scaleable sizes and video. Although no longer available on open market it can be found on the web through camera dealers. With the 32MB smartmedia card one can take from 18 high resolution (1700KB)photographs to 500 basic (50KB) resolution photographs. Downloading is fast with USB and Exif Viewer.
I use it in school regularly, as a middle school geography- social studies teacher accuracy and efficiency are important to me and my students -- clarity of picture is fundamental. The Leica Digilux 4.3 produces clean, clear stills for all but the fastest action shots. If you need action, use the 90 second video feature. I've owned and used this camera for two trouble-free years. It is invaluable.

Great Camera and Good Attatchments
I asked for this camera for christmas a got it(horay)! The main reason was that I thought it had the highest resolution 4.3 megapix. In fact it does not and Fuji who made it have had to change their advertising which has been called misleading. It is like a 2.3 megapixal but used some funny formula to produce data files that have 4.3 megapizals, but the original picture does not. HOWEVER - it takes really great pictures and can do movies for up to 80 seconds (with included 32mb sancard) There are a wide range of settings - full automatic, manual, movie, night time, 'rapid fire' that takes 3 pictures one after another. The controls are easy to learn and can be manipulated with one hand. It is relatively small and fits in a pocket. I was pleased to find a macro attatchment for it (you also have to by a small base stand to attatch this to the camera). this allows you to take extreme close ups mainly of skin which is good for me as a Dermatologist! Although it does have difficulty with colors at extreme close ups, it has no problem that I can see without the macro. The pictures is produces are really great. I also have an Epsonn 875 color printer, when combind with good photographic paper to print on they really do look like amazing pictures. Now - I have not used digital cameras before so I can not really compare it, but I have seen other frineds camera and I really like my one. It is not as small as those Cannon Elfs. It only uses rechargeable batteries. Make sure you buy it online - it is at least... more expensive in most stores. Enjoy. Oh yea, it comes with easy to use software.

Yay! Great camera!
This is my second digital camera and I LOVE it! I was impressed with indoor photos and natural light photos. The zoom quality is great. Perfect size to fit in a small purse and to take out at night without being cumbersome. All the menu options are easy to use & obvious to understand, for those of us who hate reading direction booklets. The only complaint I have would be the "movie mode" in dimmer settings, it was SO DARK! It also doesn't come with ANY extras; no camera case, rechargable battery, etc...
All in all, I love it! Seems to be a great price for it too! Yay Target!

This is a great camera!
This is a great camera! I repeat great. It is very light weight and compact. I got this for Christmas, I wasn't very impressed with its looks but once I decided to open it, it was actually nice. This camera is easy to use and you can easily transfer files to your computer. The memory cards are hard to find and it uses batteries very quickly but these shouldn't affect if you should by it. I highly recommend this camera.

Cool Camera
This is my second Fuji, my first was the MX-1200. It took great pictures, nothing last for ever. So now I own the A330 and it's<br /> standing up to my old one even better. What I like is that you can be in a dim lighted room and take a picture that comes out as if you had all the lights on. Fuji has my business. Also it's very easy to use.
