APS-Camera Reviews

My friend borrowed this camera from me and just loved it. So far I have not heard a complaint. When I do use it myself, I shall let readers know.

I tried the Elph 370 and the cheaper Elph but this camera is better than both. Small, easy to use, easier film-loading, longer battery life, more features, much more attractive than the cheap looking Elph 370. All three however, aren't particularly good with red-eye(hey, it ain't a 500 dollar SLR!), other than that, a great camera... Selecting a different flash or camera mode was easier than the Elphs also. For the casual photographer, it is a steal. It fits in your pocket, has a 3x zoom, and it has a small plastic camera attachment for a self-portrait, but what would I want that for? Maybe you could use that.

... i recieved it yesterday. I love it! Its easy to use and is tiny. The buttons are not too small.... The zoom is great. It has a remote and this cute little mirror that goes on top so you can take self-portrates. The flash is very strong... I would compare this camera to an Elph, but with better zoom and a remote.

I used this camera for the first time while learning to snorkel.

I was surprised at how nice they turned out. I put these pics (turned digital) on a travel web site which received raves.

Nice to give to the kids too. they float if you loose them and the colors are really good.

These disposable cameras are great. I tend to prefer the APS versions because the negatives stay in the canister, and they come with an index print. The advanced APS features that require the camera to "talk" to the film won't work on these disposable models, but you do get the built-in panoramic photo option, and the picture quality is quite reasonable. Try one and I'm sure you'll like it. Also makes a great gift for young kids who might drop a camera accidently. You probably don't want to find that out with a $200 camera. :)

This is a great camera for beginners and shutterbugs who don't have the patience to deal with professional photographic equipment. The APS features are fantastic giving you the ability to capture the entire Harbor Bridge on panoramic, and change film instantly while hanging from a ski lift without concern for film exposure or proper placement inside the camera casing. Its zoom lens is quite long compared to other cameras of the same type and price range. My pictures have always come out clear and crisp. Its also very durable and the rubber grip on the side makes it easy to hold unlike other all metal casing cameras. I have even dropped it in a waterfall, and although it is not waterproof and I wouldn't suggest doing it, the camera still worked after the water drained out of it. If you can still get your hands on one of these cameras, go for it!

Very nice camera, good quality and a good price. Pick up a cheap APS book for some pointers and don't forget the batteries -- not included :-(

This camera takes great and clear pictures. my photographs look crisp and professinal. it is compact buy powerful. while in japan i was able to get some brown and white film and the pictures shocked and amazed me they were so breath taking. just wow!...one thing though...there is no zoom. :(

Was looking for a simple camera to use for taking outdoor summer fun pictures with the grandchildren. It is simple and the 4 & 5 year old can operate it easily. Great inexpensive camera!!

i bought the kodak advatix c450 simply because i needed a camera i could just keep in my handbag and whip out whenever necessary. i have plenty of [costly] large cameras which i use for major events or planned shoots but this is a nice, light, point-and-snap camera which is [less costly] and easy to keep with you without logging round a large camera case! the three pictures shots make for more control over your pictures and the autofocus means it is as simple and flicking it open and clicking. for a first time camera buyer or for someone who just wants an easy camera this is a good buy.

This camera is great! It comes "ready to roll", film, batteries, it also has a convenient pouch. This camera is sleek, it fits in the palm of your hand, you could even carry it in your pocket. It has red eye reduction and the all glass lens is well protected by the flash/lens cover. I had a FUJI camera that drove me nuts, the batteries would run out all the time, and the film would get stuck, oh the pictures I lost! But with the Advantix T550 you will not have that problem because it saves your battery. You also have the option to add titles to your picturesand dates, for great memories. Like they say; "best things come in small packages" and honestly this is one of them.

I got rid of my manual 35mm camera, and wanted a fully automatic 35mm, but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars. This was the answer to my prayers. This camera is fully automatic, and has the features I wanted, such as Red-Eye Reduction, Date/Time stamp, remote control. It has a lot more features that I honestly have not used yet. I love taking pictures, so I am going to study up what those features are. The camera really comes through if you are in a dark place (like a reception), and you use 800 speed film. You can zoom across the room, and it's a great picture. Actually, this takes a beautiful picture in any setting (I typically use 400 film). I see they came out with 170 zoom, which I will buy in a couple of years. But for now, my Knoica's great!

This camera takes excellent pictures! From low light to bright, my pictures have come out beautifully. My sunsets shots make me look like a pro. This camera is light weight, very sleek and easy to use. I get complements on the camera itself all the time. The drop-in film loading is the best. I have nothing but good things to say about this camera. Well worth it!

This is such a great camera-I was a disposable camera user for many years until I got this camera. Not too technical and takes great pix! It will display the date if you choose, you can make the picture panaramic if you like or frame it! It has a nice case that can be worn on your belt-and the best part-it fits in my purse :)

I bought this camera to use in situations that I did not want to carry my bulky Canon with long lens and have since never touched my "good" camera. The pictures are great, it is easy to use and can fit in your pocket. My daughter is going away to school and I must buy her her own so that she does not take mine. A great camera overall!!

I find this camera to take adequate photos, but the camera is made of poor quality. It has scratches on it everywhere, and in under a year, the flash cover keeps falling off. It always gets me noticed, and I might have to buy a new one because I love the size and the shape. It goes everywhere with me, I just wish that the body was stronger.

We bought this camera for my 10 year old daughter at Christmas, and have been nothing but pleased with the quality of the pictures. We chose it for it's size and ease of use for a child with the use of only one hand. I've been known to grab it, though, for quick pics around the house!

We have compensated for the additional cost of developign APS film by only getting our pics developed at Sam's or Wal-Mart...

I purchased this camera for my husband who doesn't use a camera much. We ended up using this camera all the time, as I misplaced my 35MM camera. It takes great pictures for the price. Sometimes, I have noticed red eye (it is supposed to have red reduction) and some the pictures indoors are darker in the background than outside, but overall this ...camera has out performed itself in my opinion.
I highly recommend it.
