At first I didn't see the point in having the added projection feature but now it is my favorite part of the alarm clock. The radio quality is alright, perfect for low volume listening. Projection is easy to read and very easy to focus. Also love the snooze feature! There is now one of these in every room plus I gave three additional ones out as Christmas gifts!

Wakes me up every morning and the nice big numbers help me find my bed in the dark. I also don't have to put on my glasses to see it! haha. For the price the sound isn't that bad either.

This product was designed with the consumer's needs in mind. There are no quirks or design flaws -- nothing in the product that would make you wonder, "did they think about this when they designed it?"

Some highlights include:

-- GENTLE WAKE: If you don't like waking up to the radio, but you also find buzzers annoying, then Gentle Wake is for you. Gentle Wake starts the alarm with a few sparse chirps, gradually developing into the full buzzer sound, allowing you to awaken at your own pace.

-- BUTTON LAYOUT: Many alarm clocks have a control that switches "ON/OFF/AUTO". This clock separates the radio control and the alarm control, so it is not difficult to turn on the radio while the alarm is set.

-- BACKLIT LCD: Much softer on your eyes than those bright red numbers that you may see in other models. The brightness of the backlight is also adjustable.

-- PRICE: For under twenty bucks, the range of features and quality should easily sell this alarm clock.

I always had trouble finding a clock radio I liked until I bought this one. The numbers are large, the controls are well placed, and it is very easy to set and back up if you go too far. The snooze button is big, which keeps you from hitting the wrong button. The dynamic bass boost gives it pretty good sound (for a clock radio) and the reception is good - the antenna is built into the power cord. I would recommend this product to anyone.

this little radio/cd/alarm clock has GREAT sound for such a small device! It's easy to use, and sounds like a much larger stereo! Finally a small appliance to fit any space!

I have literally been looking for the past 3 years for an alarm clock to replace my existing sony alarm clock (which I have had for 14 years).

My only complaint with my existing sony alarm clock was that I have poor eyesight and could not read the number well. That said, I liked everything else about it, so getting a new one was not a huge priority.

Wow. Am I glad I waited.

For a measly $20 bucks, I got a this clock radio from RCA. It has all the feature of my old sony clock radio: 2 dual alarms, digital radio tuner (I dont understand why *anyone* would even bother with a radio with a manual tuner at this point), snooze, sleep, and a decent battery back up that actually works.

Add to this RCA's additional features: HUGE number readout, auto dimming mode, atomic clock set (you dont even need to set the time), nap functinality, each alarm can be radio or buzzer (with grad-u-wake), variable snooze, variable nap, variable sleep.

The controls for this are great too. For example, you tune the digital radio with a dial on the side - this is much more pleasing that those stupid up and down buttons found on most radio tuners.

...and all of this for $20 bucks. it's great. buy it.

Need to change the clock back an hour for Daylight Saving Time?
This feature packed clock radio will let you go BACK that hour simply by pressing the reverse button instead of having to go 23 hours foward like many clock radios.
