Soundesign 3106 Bird Sounds Unlike Real BirdsThe sounds were only similar to the birds songs that I can hear out my back door - not close enough to reality. I think we want reality so we can recognize the bird songs we hear in nature.
A wonderful Idea, but not carried out very well. By the way - the clock is made in China.

Waste of Money
Great kitchen addition. Works FlawlesslyAs far as the CD problems, she's in the kitchen more than any other room, so it gets used A LOT, and there have NOT been any problems with skipping. And, some of the CD's are really scratched. So, I'm not sure why the other reviews have problems with the cd player. Maybe I just got lucky, maybe they had defective units, or maybe the cd's were scratched in the wrong place, but I would recommend this unit to anyone who needs a spacesaver radio.
The only con I can think of is the price, but, it is average with all the other radios. I think they're all a little overpriced, but this is definitely the one with teh most useful features. Also note that it doesn't play cd-rw or mp3.

Be warned - this clock radio has no CD
Average to below average clock radioI wanted a red lighted radio because it is not as bright as the green. I was also wanted Radio wake option. The problem I found with this radio is it is hard to get the tuner to stay on the station and the station. So I worried every night "would the alarm hold the station and wake me or should I turn the annoying alarm sound on?"
The buttons cover all the features necessary for most needs, but I would have liked to have had a touch turn off button as apposed to a switch. It is hard to find and work when your just waking up.
Good points are it was a good price, there is a backup battery availability, snooze, red lighted.

Would be great, but clock is inaccurate
Easy to use & small, but the clock ruins your dayClock #1 gained 45 minutes overnight. I promptly returned it. Last night I tried Clock #2 -- same basic 45 minute overrun. Waking up 45 minutes early is not my idea of how to start my day on an even keel.
